My friend and I wanted sushi so I found this place! What a perfect choice! Parking on the street is okay. After a certain time it's free. The outside of the restaurant is beautiful and inviting! We walked in and was instantly greeted by Kat and she was so gorgeous and really nice. She told us that we could sit anywhere so we did. The entire facility was clean and spotless as if you could eat anything off the floor. We order plum wine and saki but it was flavored mango saki and let me tell you it was delicious! Lawd, it taste just like a smoothie! I'm gonna try and find it at Bevmo. It was so good. We started with an appetizer called "heart attack" lol. I could be wrong with the name but it was stuff jalapenos and it was to die for! (Get the joke, lol). As for the sushi it was so fresh and yummy! Food is Fantastic! Start off with the Garlic edamame for an appetizer. FLAVOR IS AMAZING. Service was Great, the staff were friendly and fast. We had a side table next to the front (Table for two) my partner & I enjoyed these rolls with some Soju. It was a great Ambiance inside, with a great window breeze. read more

The best part about this restaurant was that there was no wait on a Friday night and that it is a small casual environment. Parking is not the easiest. The easy walk-in is probably attributed to the fact that the sushi was a little on the higher-end side of prices. The food was delicious but a little expensive considering the competition and the fact that you're not paying for the most precious environment or view. The restaurant itself doesn't even have a bathroom inside of the building, one needs to walk outside to a bathroom connected outside to access the bathroom. The service was decent. I wouldn't come eat sushi at this restaurant given the many other sushi options that are more affordable. read more

Came here on a whim and didn't know what to expect but IT WAS AMAZING! Too many sushi places just don't have the high quality sushi you really expect. I cant stress enough How FRESH, raw fish has to be! Let alone the fish not even coming from the wild any more. This alone keeps me from wanting sushi but this place still does it the way it should be done. The candy roll, the blue fin tuna Sashimi, the halibut carpaccio. It was as good as it gets! No joke. I cant wait to go back and indulge in some of my favs but also try some new ones as well. The Nigiri Sake was the perfect drink to round the whole thing out! Perfect! I can't begin to emphasize how much I recommend coming here. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a friendly staff and during your meal, they remain very attentive to your needs. They have a good selection of wines, beers and sakes. I recommend Kirin for beer or sake to drink with sushi. The quality of the fish is something that can't be beat. @Sushi has the best fish in taste and texture (many of them imported from different countries). Prices are fair for what you're getting in both size and quality. I haven't had a roll, nigiri, or sashimi that has had a "fishy" or strong odor. Not even with the mackerel which is my least favorite fish, but even I would recommend theirs to anyone. There are more options besides sushi. They do have plate lunches/dinner. read more

My favorite sushi restaurant! Seriously, nowhere else compares. The owner is awesome and the wait staff is always quick and responsive, even during COVID. I usually order the salmon skin salad, cucumber roll, salmon sashimi...but I order lots of other rolls and appetizers here too. Everything is really fresh (I heard the owner goes to the fish market himself 2-3 times a week), and I really haven't been to another sushi spot in Lakewood or Long Beach with as fresh of fish. It's not AYCE but I much prefer the quality you get here and pay a la carte rather than get lesser quality sushi. read more

Super friendly staff, very fast service, and amazing, fresh and delicious sushi rolls. They even made us a customs roll, which I think they should add to the menu, as it was amazing. Surprisingly great sushi in Belmont Shore! This is the place you want to go to if you are on Second Street and craving sushi. It is located across from Roe, where you will have better chances of finding parking compared to the west end. It is Korean-operated and offers udon noodle soup as well. While on the pricier side, their fish quality has been consistently fresh and of great quality. The interior is modern, clean, and fresh but also different as it is not traditional. Staff are friendly and attentive. I love their chirashi; at lunch it is $25 and at dinner it runs to $33. It is worth it though because of the quality and quantity. I have also ordered their udon noodle soup with tempura, which is a great portion and also tasty. Definitely love eating here! read more

Came here with my husband for a date night (finally!!! so hard to do with a LO). They were really accommodating and sat us outside and we arrived at 5 PM and the wait was non-existent. I'm glad we did come by around 5 PM on a Sunday, because by the time we left (6:15 PM), there was quite a wait. Engawa - amazing! Lots of great flavor. Hamachi - Really good. Uni - my husband said it was "mediocre." I'm not an uni fan, so... Ikura - not one of the best, unfortunately. A bit on the slimy side.....but edible. shishito peppers - so good. Definitely recommend these. House salad - delicious. no heavy sauce or anything. felt light and refreshing. Great customer service and friendly waiters. I could see them being a bit slow re: service, as it got busier. I'd come here again at the same time! Not the best sushi, but there were some pretty great dishes. read more

Delicious, high quality sushi. Very straight forward with a more simple menu rather than those places with a ton of jazzed up rolls to hide the quality of the fish. We ordered salmon and halibut nigiri, the 911 roll, spicy tuna and California rolls and all were very fresh. The nigiri fish slices were very hefty which is always a plus. We ordered a baked scallop roll as well which was tasty. Only complaint is the scallop got slightly chewy than we preferred but still so good. Ambiance was lovely, great energy from the staff and the owner was outstanding, making sure every table was doing good. I had a really great experience at @Sushi and will definitely be back as well as recommending it to friends in the area! I'm vegetarian and the avocado as well as the vegetable rolls were delicious. We ordered a bowl of spicy edamame that was so delicious, I ended up saving the sauce to dip my sushi rolls into during dinner. While I can't personally testify, my friends were very happy with the smoked salmon roll (it came on fire!) as well as the hot night. The place was very clean, all staff wore masks and practiced good hygiene and they brought hand sanitizer along with the receipt. I'm very excited to go back! read more

Long overdue review for the BEST sushi spot in along Beach I always make an effort to come here at least once a week now with their outdoor dining setup available...sometimes even 2-3 times a week. This place has the best, freshest cuts of fish and consistently use quality ingredients all the way to their fresh ginger. After coming here, I refuse to go anywhere else for sushi in Long Beach... they just don't compare. Beyond their sushi, their Korean short ribs are a favorite of mine, as well as the udon noodle stir fry & soup. Everything here is delicious and fresh. The service is always amazing, especially Elijah but all are great. I love coming to hang out and have a good time. The owner is super attentive and always makes sure we are taken care of. This is just a thank you to everyone at @Sushi and I can't recommend this place enough. I'll continue to be here every week and can't wait to be back indoors at the sushi bar enjoying it soon ;) read more

A lot smaller than initially expected. I believe it was the owner, came outside and turned the heater on while we waited, which was nice. Once we got seated, we got a couple of appetizers, both which were delicious. The garlic edamame was smothered in their sauce and even had a little pool of it at the bottom so I could dip some more, if wanted. Also, the cream cheese wontons looked different than what we expected but with no lack of flavor. When it comes to sushi, we're a bit weird and like to try a lot of different kinds, unfortunately this place was fairly traditional in the fact that they didn't really have many house creations, which was a bit disappointing. The presentation on not only our rolls but everyone else's that we saw was fantastic. They all looked delicious. Service was great, of course. Would definitely recommend. read more
