We were on our way to Saint & Second and as we were driving down Second St we seen @Sushi. We immediately decided we wanted sushi instead. We were all happy with this choice. This place has extremely fresh and tasty appetizers and sushi rolls. We're all definitely coming back. They have mostly inside seating but do have a small little patio. Unsure if people actually eat out there. They have a tv which was nice because we were able to catch the end of the Rams/Bears game last night. Very clean. Great Wall decor. Bathroom was clean. The service was top notch. Very attentive and friendly. For starters we ordered Spicy Garlic Edamame, Garlic Salmon Chili, Spicy Tuna Rice Crispy, and the Shumai. Everything was delicious. They were all 10/10, but that Garlic Salmon Chili was our favorite. The 3 rolls I ordered and enjoyed eating were the Spring Roll, Cucumber Special Roll and the 911 Roll. Both were a 10/10. I would definitely order these again. Out of all the Rolls ordered the fan favorite was the Spring Roll with that amazing sauce. Dynamite. Until next time.
This is one of the best sushi spots in Belmont Shore! I've been here several times and the food is just amazing each time I go. The service is incredible, and if there's a wait they always get you in very quickly, and the charming, energetic owner always greets you and makes sure you are taken care of. There is street metered parking, or you can try to find a spot in the busy neighborhood. The ambiance inside is very quaint, upscale, and charming. Although it's a small spot it's adorable inside and seats plenty of guests. I'm a huge fan of the yellowtail sashimi and I have never gone wrong with ANY of the specialty rolls here-they are all delicious and 5/5!! I love the rainbow roll as well as some of their own special rolls. The real star is not on the menu, but please listen when I tell you to order the pickled wasabi and it will LEVEL UP your sushi experience!!! I also like to enjoy hot saki here with a cold beer and the overall experience is always delightful. Check out this hidden gem for a new sushi experience and you'll be thrilled!
This place was amazing! I noticed that they had 5 stars so I had to try it out myself, and might I say, well deserved! The service was great. The waitress checked on us several times and was very sweet. I came on a Saturday evening and it wasn't crowded at all. The food came out surprisingly fast. I absolutely loved the presentation of everything, especially the baked salmon roll. The food was really good and fresh as well. Definitely the best baked salmon roll I've ever had! Their scallop roll was good. Their garlic edamame and crab & cucumber salad were so delicious. Their sauces are in house made. There is about 4 bar seats outside. There is also more seating available indoor as well, which is where I sat. Very small, intimate place. I loved everything about my experience and would definitely return. There is so many food options to choose from. Thank you!
Best sushi in long beach! I've been here twice and there's always been little to no wait given that it's a pretty small restaurant. It's a wonderful restaurant for a special occasion or night out on Belmont. We ordered the blue fin tuna, salmon tataki, hot day roll, and Long Beach roll. The blue fin tuna was so fresh with the fresh wasabi. The salmon tataki was my second favorite with the truffle oil that cuts through the classic lemon salmon combo.
This was my first time here and all I can say is wow. The sushi is very fresh, service is excellent, everyone is so friendly. The restaurant is nice and cozy with a lot of space between tables. Restaurant is very clean and all the employees were helping each other to cater to their guests. The food and service is what will keep me coming back.
I have been eyeing this spot for a while and finally able to try it with a friend. Wow, I was quite impressed. Service was absolutely wonderful for a small place. Luckily on a mid-week visit they weren't to busy and therefore we were not rushed. The quality of each dish was wonderful. Portions were sizable. They had some unique dish options that hit the spot and made them stand out verse other sushi spots. A cozy little place located at the end of the bustling 2nd street area. Parking was relatively easy mid-week, however weekends would be a challenge. Among all the wonderful sushi spots in Long Beach, this spots definitely competes. Nice to enjoy another gem within the city. I will be keeping this one in the rotation.
Wowww. I've lived in this area most my life and never been to this spot. The owner told me they've been open for around 6 years already! The fish is SO fresh! Very very clean. I went with a friend of mine and we were both super happy. Service is super nice. We ended up speaking to the owner and he was super nice and we spoke about the quality of the fish being very yummy. You can tell they take care about their customers as well as the food! Highly recommend and will be back !

It has a big "at" character, naturally lol Menu: sushi, rolls, carpaccio, udon, salads, few skewer selections, beers, sashimi, miso soup We pigged out and there were no regrets. I can't remember everything but we got aloha roll, "spring" roll, blue fin carpaccio, sheseido peppers, cucumber crab salad, sushi, and beers This place did everything very well. Very content. Parking: street Seating: mainly indoor seating but I think I saw a few spots on the patio. Good for smaller groups like 2-4. But I can see a group of 6+ could still fit.

This place is really a gem. While it may not be immediately apparent when you first walk up to it, some of the best sushi is served here. The fish is really high quality, fresh and very well presented. I've enjoyed the seared salmon roll, the carpaccios and a few of the other rolls. All have been excellent. So much so, that I've enjoyed eating here more than I have at sugar fish and nobu. @Sushi is kind of a little more low key then those places in the setting and decorations but the fish is really creatively presented and honestly some of the best rolls I've had are here. read more

This sushi spot is absolutely amazing. It definitely is deserving of its rating! I know sometimes rating may set up unrealistic expectations, but I must admit that they follow through. The cream cheese wonton was so unique and delicious. First off, it looks just like a taquito. Secondly, the dish was so tasty. I've had cream cheese wontons before, but not like THIS! The dynamite appetizer was definitely one of a kind. It was shaped similar to a tostada, but had a very unique Japanese flavor to it. Definitely something to try. The rolls we had were the tiger roll and dragon roll. There's not much to say except that it definitely hits the spot when hungry. Do yourself a favor and eat at this spot! All the reviews were spot on! This place was awesome! We came to celebrate a birthday and enjoyed the outdoor dining. Very thankful that Stephanie was sitting at the next table and was able to give her suggestions too! We basically saw what was being served at the other tables and ordered those. The ones I remember best are the Dragon Roll and Baked Salmon - came out flaming! Would definitely come back again! You won't be disappointed! read more

I can see why this place has been getting 5 stars! The seafood tastes fresh, the rolls aren't drowning in sauces, and the presentation is so pretty! I recommend the Baked Salmon roll. Tldr; literally my new favorite sushi spot in the OC/LA region Time: 8 PM on a Wednesday. Got seated immediately Parking: side-street parking but walking distance to soooo many places around and the pier is like a 5 min walk and is so beautiful at night Service: 10/10 the owner is so sweet and attentive. We had dogs with us and he made the extra effort to set a table outside with a fire for us. Our table was also unstable so he fixed it on the spot for us. Soooo rare nowadays too see the owners of their own restaurant be this involved Price: Salmon nigiri ($6.5), Candy roll ($16), Surprise ($16) Food: Salmon nigiri 100000/10 probably one of the best and most fresh salmon I have ever had so far in socal and ive been to a decent amount of places. The price is a little high but for the quality and the thickness of the cut, it was so worth it. We had to order seconds because it was just that good! Candy roll 10/10 would order this one again! Had everything I wanted in a roll and the raw salmon on top really balanced the crunch of the shrimp tempura inside. Overall my favorite roll on the menu (so far!) Surprise roll 7/10 felt that the spicy tuna overpowered everything else on the roll. I got this with the desire to get something with raw salmon but I really couldnt savor the taste of all the other parts of the roll because of the spicy tuna. We visited @Sushi for outdoor dining the weekend before all restaurants were required to do takeout only again. We called ahead to put our name on the waiting list, which was a good call because they were busy. Their vegetable tempura was good, and the rolls we ordered were good too. They forgot to bring out one of my rolls and sauce but apologized and took it off our bill. I felt bad because the owner (?) was very apologetic - it was a busy night for them so I was understanding! The presentation of the food is just beautiful - see my photo. I do wish they had more vegetarian options. But we will be back because of the owner; he was very nice! read more

My daughter recommended this restaurant and it was on point. The sushi quality is very good and the portions is generous. The specialty rolls will suite any guest, however I tend to order sashimi so I can taste the quality. The Yellow Tail and Tuna melt in your mouth! The service was average, however the owner checked on us several times during our meal. The ambiance is cozy and on the trendy side. I will agree with my daughters recommendation. Had the pleasure of dining here with some close friend and as first timers here and we were all blown away. My wife and I frequent sushi spots around the LA area and I have to say the quality and experience with the food and staff here is unmatched. From the dry ice presentation with the nigiri to the fire surrounded baked roll delivery- experience meets quality and professionalism.. Amazingly delicious food and equally as amazing presentation! My friend and I decided to try out this place on a Sunday night and we ordered a variety of items including the Dragon Roll, Tiger Roll, Dynamite and Cream Cheese Wontons. Both the Dragon Roll and Tiger Roll were fresh, flavorful, delicious and beautifully presented on a wooden board. The Dynamite appetizer is a baked combination of scallop, kani (imitation crab) and shrimp on a deep fried tortilla which was tasty. The tortilla was an interesting choice to include in this dish and it worked really well adding a nice crisp in every bite. The Cream Cheese Wontons which is kani and cream cheese deep fried in wonton wrap was AMAZING. I've never seen cream cheese wontons in this form before, looked kind of similar to a cannoli. It was really fun and interesting to eat. I loved how creamy the center was in contrast to the crispiness of the wonton wrap. The kani they use in it is really good and has a nice stretch like mozzarella cheese. My friend and I loved this appetizer and would've ordered a second helping if we weren't so full. The chefs definitely put a lot of thought into the presentation for all their dishes, it shows through the aesthetic plating and careful placement. This is one of the few restaurants that I've been thoroughly impressed with both the taste of the food and the artistic presentation. Service was pretty quick and it didn't take too long for our food to come out. The staff was friendly and attentive. Parking is limited however, there is meter parking closeby. I highly recommend coming here for the delicious and beautifully presented food. It's a superb place in Long Beach for a meal with friends or a date. read more

Yummm! @Sushi - where do I even begin?! The quality of fish is divine and everything I ordered off the menu was made to perfection. They've got a great happy hour for drinks - trust me on this... my boyfriend and I got a little too schwazyyyy because the deal was too good. Food pricing, in contrast, broke the bank - but hey, we're paying for quality, amirite?? Overall, the service was great, our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and attentive to our needs. The noise level wasn't loud and it wasn't packed when we arrived. (Maybe because we got there before the rush, but to me - this was perfect timing). Have been passing by this sushi place for a while now since its right beside my go-to cheese shop (cheese addiction) and finally got to try it on New Year's Day and I loved it!! Ordered the Dragon Roll and the Tuna Tataki and everything was so fresh and good protein-rice ratio. Their mixed tempura plate was also pretty good, perfectly crispy and not oily. Service was pleasant and fast. We will definitely be back! Parking can be a pain in Belmont Shore strip in general but you kind of expect it anyway so plan accordingly! read more
