Ordered takeout & it was prepared quickly and it packaged nicely! Everything we ordered was amazing. Fresh and great portions. Our favorites were the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, salmon sashimi and Garlic chili roll.
Ok I see why this place is so highly rated. This has become my new sushi spot. This sushi is so fresh and delicious. You can't get better in Long Beach. We got our order to go and they packaged it perfectly so the flavors didn't mix all over each other. We LOVED the nigiri. Super fresh fish. Great quality. The cut rolls were also delicious. Not a crazy amount of sauce or anything so we could enjoy all the flavors. I absolutely loved their spicy crispy tuna rice (which is not spicy at all). The shumai were the only thing that I thought could have had more flavor, but still very solid option. And of course we got the baked salmon roll which was very good if you like baked sushi. We will definitely be coming back here anytime we want sushi. The inside of the restaurant was well done, it's a nice casual spot on 2nd street so keep that in mind for parking. But it's worth it.
An immediate go to sushi joint! Tell me what you don't like about this place... I'll wait. Friendly service, tempura that came out piping hot just seconds from the cooking, delicious and succulent fish, and flavorful tastes all around. As a visitor to the area every so often, I'm delighted to find this place and look forward to returning!
SO GOOD!! We stumbled upon this place and were initially attracted to the big fish inside with the many menus available for viewing on the windows. We were so happy to walk in and eat the best sushi. We ordered the seared yellowtail TWICE! It was so delicious. The garlic chili roll was yummy yet the Long Beach roll was even better. We even tried the green mussels and it was BOMB! Service was so welcoming and kind it made us wanna go back whenever we are in the area! Go try it!!!

We were on our way to Saint & Second and as we were driving down Second St we seen @Sushi. We immediately decided we wanted sushi instead. We were all happy with this choice. This place has extremely fresh and tasty appetizers and sushi rolls. We're all definitely coming back. They have mostly inside seating but do have a small little patio. Unsure if people actually eat out there. They have a tv which was nice because we were able to catch the end of the Rams/Bears game last night. Very clean. Great Wall decor. Bathroom was clean. The service was top notch. Very attentive and friendly. For starters we ordered Spicy Garlic Edamame, Garlic Salmon Chili, Spicy Tuna Rice Crispy, and the Shumai. Everything was delicious. They were all 10/10, but that Garlic Salmon Chili was our favorite. The 3 rolls I ordered and enjoyed eating were the Spring Roll, Cucumber Special Roll and the 911 Roll. Both were a 10/10. I would definitely order these again. Out of all the Rolls ordered the fan favorite was the Spring Roll with that amazing sauce. Dynamite. Until next time.
This is one of the best sushi spots in Belmont Shore! I've been here several times and the food is just amazing each time I go. The service is incredible, and if there's a wait they always get you in very quickly, and the charming, energetic owner always greets you and makes sure you are taken care of. There is street metered parking, or you can try to find a spot in the busy neighborhood. The ambiance inside is very quaint, upscale, and charming. Although it's a small spot it's adorable inside and seats plenty of guests. I'm a huge fan of the yellowtail sashimi and I have never gone wrong with ANY of the specialty rolls here-they are all delicious and 5/5!! I love the rainbow roll as well as some of their own special rolls. The real star is not on the menu, but please listen when I tell you to order the pickled wasabi and it will LEVEL UP your sushi experience!!! I also like to enjoy hot saki here with a cold beer and the overall experience is always delightful. Check out this hidden gem for a new sushi experience and you'll be thrilled!
This place was amazing! I noticed that they had 5 stars so I had to try it out myself, and might I say, well deserved! The service was great. The waitress checked on us several times and was very sweet. I came on a Saturday evening and it wasn't crowded at all. The food came out surprisingly fast. I absolutely loved the presentation of everything, especially the baked salmon roll. The food was really good and fresh as well. Definitely the best baked salmon roll I've ever had! Their scallop roll was good. Their garlic edamame and crab & cucumber salad were so delicious. Their sauces are in house made. There is about 4 bar seats outside. There is also more seating available indoor as well, which is where I sat. Very small, intimate place. I loved everything about my experience and would definitely return. There is so many food options to choose from. Thank you!
This was by far the best baked salmon roll I have ever had! I would go back just for that again. The salmon had a garlic flavor to it which made it so much better than the usual. Ordered a few other rolls as well that I enjoyed. Service was attentive.

This was my first time here and all I can say is wow. The sushi is very fresh, service is excellent, everyone is so friendly. The restaurant is nice and cozy with a lot of space between tables. Restaurant is very clean and all the employees were helping each other to cater to their guests. The food and service is what will keep me coming back.
Best sushi in long beach! I've been here twice and there's always been little to no wait given that it's a pretty small restaurant. It's a wonderful restaurant for a special occasion or night out on Belmont. We ordered the blue fin tuna, salmon tataki, hot day roll, and Long Beach roll. The blue fin tuna was so fresh with the fresh wasabi. The salmon tataki was my second favorite with the truffle oil that cuts through the classic lemon salmon combo.
10/10. The salmon tataki roll has a slight truffle taste that is so delicious and the eel hand roll was cooked to perfection. The eel was tender, carmelized, smokey, and overall super balanced. The qualify of the fish was amazing and worth the money. The owner was super sweet snd definitely tried to connect with his customers. They close at 9 yet they still served us till 9:15 with the same amazing service, no rushing or anything. Also, the location of the restaurant is perfect to get a sweet treat afterwards or even shop! The place includes a bar and slightly moodly lighting, it is a little small but the owner makes sure you dont wait too long to get in and served so that is always appreciated! Highly recommend if you can!

I recently moved to the Long Beach area and after eating @sushi it is definitely my new go to local sushi spot! Our server Elijah made our experience so special. He was attentive, entertaining and recommended some really great options off the menu, all which we loved! We especially loved his saki recommendation, so much so, we ordered 2 bottles! First time going into this place after seeing it busy on a Friday night, and I was impressed. Immediately greeted by the staff there, who was eager to seat us anywhere we liked. It was quite roomie, as not to stack table on top of table like most places are these days. They give you more of an intimate feel, so you can share a private conversation, without the person next to you hearing every word - I like that! The place has great ambiance, and the sushi bar looked cozy as well. They had a bunch of beer taps, however at this time, there seemed to be only 5 or 6 beers being poured. ... and now for the sushi! The sushi was fresh. I had the Albacore sushi and Ahi Tuna sushi as well as the baked lobster and the In n out hand roll, all of which had good flavor and was well presented. Prices are a little on the expensive side, but that's about typical for being down in the Shore. It is definitely worth it. This place will for sure become a hot spot amongst the locals, once it's been here for a little while, I guarantee it! I did not want to give this place four stars. I WISH I could give it five. And I wish I could blame it on COVID. But I cannot excuse bad service. If I was rating @sushi based on the food, they would have maintained their five-star streak. Not pictured, but we ordered the soft shell crab with ponzu for an appetizer, and that was really good. The curry was great. Just enough spice, very rich and flavorful, not runny. Could have cooked just a tad longer so the carrots and potatoes were softer but still very good. The chirashi was phenomenal. The quality of fish was amazing, the portions were large, and I got 7 different types of sashimi (tamago, halibut, albacore, yellowtail, salmon, shrimp and toro). The cut of halibut they gave me I never had before and it was really tasty. And the toro was heaven. I really wish I was hungrier to eat more. I would even go back to eat here again, as long as I didn't get the same waitress. She was not pleasant. She was slow. We asked for water and it didn't come out until she brought our appetizer. She brought the chirashi out halfway through the appetizer, and the curry didn't come out for another 15 minutes. Not a big deal, just should have been brought out together. She didn't check on us during our meal. And then when my partner was done she came to pick up our plates. What really irritated me was when she was picking up our plates, I was obviously still eating--I had just took a bite of my salmon and still had three pieces of sashimi left on my plate--and she asked me "are you still working on your dish?" ........ you're joking right? We had to flag her down to get our check. And then for a pen. She was just not attentive whatsoever. Anyway. Food A+. As long as I never get her again, I have no problem coming back. read more

Honestly... almost every restaurant on 2nd street is painfully overpriced and overrated. I have no issue paying for a quality meal, however there aren't many... if any, places on 2nd street that offer that. SO when I'd heard about @Sushi I was really in no rush to go, since 2nd street already has 3 other sushi restaurants. Boy, was I missing out. If you want fresh, delicious fish that melts in your mouth and is savory with each bite, this is your place. I've been to almost every major sushi spot on Long Beach--- Sapporo (my personal fav), Aburi, Kihon, Oho, Sushi Kinoya, 39 Degrees, Sushi Kara, Goyen, Ai Sushi, and Sushi on Fire. In terms of quality, this place is better than all of them, including my favorite Sapporo, which I never thought would be possible. It will be slightly more expensive, than the aforementioned but it's BEYOND worth it. Sometimes you just want sushi, regardless of quality... this isn't the place to go for that because there's cheaper out there. BUT if you want GREAT sushi without leaving Long Beach, you'll be doing yourself more than a favor by going here! I'll be a regular undoubtedly! My only complaint: I'm not a fan of iceberg lettuce being used for salads, strong preference for spring mix :) read more

A new gem for me. It is in a good location in Naples right by Naples Kayaking. The staff is very friendly and attentive which made are experience that much better. The sushi was fantastic! Maybe it was because it's been our first time dining in since COVID began; but holy moly this Sushi deserves the 5 stars for sure.
