We were on our way to Saint & Second and as we were driving down Second St we seen @Sushi. We immediately decided we wanted sushi instead. We were all happy with this choice. This place has extremely fresh and tasty appetizers and sushi rolls. We're all definitely coming back. They have mostly inside seating but do have a small little patio. Unsure if people actually eat out there. They have a tv which was nice because we were able to catch the end of the Rams/Bears game last night. Very clean. Great Wall decor. Bathroom was clean. The service was top notch. Very attentive and friendly. For starters we ordered Spicy Garlic Edamame, Garlic Salmon Chili, Spicy Tuna Rice Crispy, and the Shumai. Everything was delicious. They were all 10/10, but that Garlic Salmon Chili was our favorite. The 3 rolls I ordered and enjoyed eating were the Spring Roll, Cucumber Special Roll and the 911 Roll. Both were a 10/10. I would definitely order these again. Out of all the Rolls ordered the fan favorite was the Spring Roll with that amazing sauce. Dynamite. Until next time.

This is one of the best sushi spots in Belmont Shore! I've been here several times and the food is just amazing each time I go. The service is incredible, and if there's a wait they always get you in very quickly, and the charming, energetic owner always greets you and makes sure you are taken care of. There is street metered parking, or you can try to find a spot in the busy neighborhood. The ambiance inside is very quaint, upscale, and charming. Although it's a small spot it's adorable inside and seats plenty of guests. I'm a huge fan of the yellowtail sashimi and I have never gone wrong with ANY of the specialty rolls here-they are all delicious and 5/5!! I love the rainbow roll as well as some of their own special rolls. The real star is not on the menu, but please listen when I tell you to order the pickled wasabi and it will LEVEL UP your sushi experience!!! I also like to enjoy hot saki here with a cold beer and the overall experience is always delightful. Check out this hidden gem for a new sushi experience and you'll be thrilled!

15/10. I don't have words to describe how amazing this food is, it was exactly what i was craving tonight. I highly recommend the salmon tataki and eel hand roll. The salmon tataki has a hint of this amazing truffle taste and the eel was smokey and grilled to perfection. the eel was so tender too! The service was incredible, the owner is so sweet and goes out of his way to connect with customers and check in. The lighting in the restaurant is slightly moody and the location is perfect to do shopping and grab a sweet treat afterwards!! I absolutely recommend you try this place!

10/10. The salmon tataki roll has a slight truffle taste that is so delicious and the eel hand roll was cooked to perfection. The eel was tender, carmelized, smokey, and overall super balanced. The qualify of the fish was amazing and worth the money. The owner was super sweet snd definitely tried to connect with his customers. They close at 9 yet they still served us till 9:15 with the same amazing service, no rushing or anything. Also, the location of the restaurant is perfect to get a sweet treat afterwards or even shop! The place includes a bar and slightly moodly lighting, it is a little small but the owner makes sure you dont wait too long to get in and served so that is always appreciated! Highly recommend if you can!

This place was amazing! I noticed that they had 5 stars so I had to try it out myself, and might I say, well deserved! The service was great. The waitress checked on us several times and was very sweet. I came on a Saturday evening and it wasn't crowded at all. The food came out surprisingly fast. I absolutely loved the presentation of everything, especially the baked salmon roll. The food was really good and fresh as well. Definitely the best baked salmon roll I've ever had! Their scallop roll was good. Their garlic edamame and crab & cucumber salad were so delicious. Their sauces are in house made. There is about 4 bar seats outside. There is also more seating available indoor as well, which is where I sat. Very small, intimate place. I loved everything about my experience and would definitely return. There is so many food options to choose from. Thank you!

This was by far the best baked salmon roll I have ever had! I would go back just for that again. The salmon had a garlic flavor to it which made it so much better than the usual. Ordered a few other rolls as well that I enjoyed. Service was attentive.

This was my first time here and all I can say is wow. The sushi is very fresh, service is excellent, everyone is so friendly. The restaurant is nice and cozy with a lot of space between tables. Restaurant is very clean and all the employees were helping each other to cater to their guests. The food and service is what will keep me coming back.

Best sushi in long beach! I've been here twice and there's always been little to no wait given that it's a pretty small restaurant. It's a wonderful restaurant for a special occasion or night out on Belmont. We ordered the blue fin tuna, salmon tataki, hot day roll, and Long Beach roll. The blue fin tuna was so fresh with the fresh wasabi. The salmon tataki was my second favorite with the truffle oil that cuts through the classic lemon salmon combo.

I have been eyeing this spot for a while and finally able to try it with a friend. Wow, I was quite impressed. Service was absolutely wonderful for a small place. Luckily on a mid-week visit they weren't to busy and therefore we were not rushed. The quality of each dish was wonderful. Portions were sizable. They had some unique dish options that hit the spot and made them stand out verse other sushi spots. A cozy little place located at the end of the bustling 2nd street area. Parking was relatively easy mid-week, however weekends would be a challenge. Among all the wonderful sushi spots in Long Beach, this spots definitely competes. Nice to enjoy another gem within the city. I will be keeping this one in the rotation.

Wowww. I've lived in this area most my life and never been to this spot. The owner told me they've been open for around 6 years already! The fish is SO fresh! Very very clean. I went with a friend of mine and we were both super happy. Service is super nice. We ended up speaking to the owner and he was super nice and we spoke about the quality of the fish being very yummy. You can tell they take care about their customers as well as the food! Highly recommend and will be back !

The fish is delicious and fresh, great selection of specials, and very nice staff. I mentioned a gluten allergy when asking about an appetizer, and the waiter brought over gluten free soy sauce without my even thinking to ask! Outdoor seating is great as well. I would say this isn't worth the money. There was nothing wrong with the sushi, but it didn't knock my socks off. So for the price, I think you can get something that makes you say "wow." The main reason it fell short was it had a strong vinegar taste. The fish didn't shine. read more

First timer at @Sushi recommended by my buddy Louie. Finally had a chance to go with my daughter and got our usual Baked Mussels, and we tried the Lobster roll and the Candy Roll. This is the best sushi in Belmont Shore and perhaps in Long Beach the best in all of Long Beach. Serious fish for serious sushi appetites. This is not watered down junk. Pros: good service. Friendly staff Cons: - Price. While I don't mind paying a premium for good sushi, I'm not down when I'm paying sugar fish price for sushi that reminds me of supermarket sushi. - Quality. The shrimp and veggie tempura was down right terrible. Asparagus was so fibrous it's inedible. The two shrimp are slightly thicker than my pinky. For the price tag on this dish it is basically robbery. The Long Beach roll, advertised as snow crab filling, it taste and look more like imitation crab. Only redeeming quality was the yellow tail on top that's rather fresh. The baked scallop roll was the one that made me very sad. The topping was very dry with almost no sauce, it was almost over baked so the scallops were very tough. The sushi that the scallops sits on is filled with burdock which doesn't really work on a baked scallop roll. Most places do it with imitation crab, but here everything on the plate is hard and crunchy, nothing really work together on this roll. read more

When I say this place is SCRUMPTIOUS, I'm saying it's SCRUMPTIOUS. VERY DELICIOUS FOOD. i devoured the baked salmon roll and my friend was halfway through her cali roll and she also said it was the tastiest and most moist roll she has ever had. The presentation to the baked salmon roll was very fun and it got me toasty on this chilly night. There is outdoor seating and, for some reason, not busy at all! I loved that this venue is open later than other sushi spots around it. It's located on a bustling corner of Belmont shore and has indoor seating, a small outdoor eating area (very small), and does take out. That being said, the sushi itself was not the best. It was a little harder and not as flavorful as sushi should be. It might have been older product since it was around 8pm but, as I was eagerly looking forward to it, was about as remarkable as supermarket sushi. read more

The waiter recommended that we try the Sashimi platter and I was sooooo impressed by the pieces of fish. The color, the cut, the presentation, but most of all the taste and texture were amazing. This is my favorite sushi spot, ever! We came in for lunch one day to try it out and were pleasantly surprised so we went back a handful of times for dinner. The sushi is SO fresh. It's also noticeably better quality than our "usual" sushi spot. I'm not complaining when I say the chef's definitely take their time, so don't come when you're in a hurry. Yet another slightly above average sushi spot in Belmont Shore. My biggest gripe with this place is the complete lack of ambiance and conflicting decor. Is it a sports bar? Is it a beachy cafe? The decor looks haphazard and desperately needs work. The menu is concise and traditional, including a good variety of specialty rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. They have a few entrees like Katsu, Curry, and Udon as well. Decent wine and Japanese beer list, with a few choices on draft. I got the only vegetarian options-a Vegetable Roll and the Vegetable Tempura. The roll was small but delicious, including a fantastic combination of fresh and pickled vegetables-cucumber, asparagus, yamagobo, avocado, and daikon. The vegetables in the tempura were perfectly cooked, but the batter was too thick and lacked the crisp finish that a good tempura should have. My boyfriend ate $80 worth of fish and felt all of it was sub-par in quality and taste. @ Sushi has been open for less than 2 months, so hopefully they will improve the aesthetics of the place, and refine the menu a bit, because they certainly have potential. We may give them another shot in the future, but are in no rush to return. read more

Came here with my sister after reading some reviews & they did not disappoint! We were put on a waitlist for 2 and it did not take very long to get seated. It is a smaller place but they had some outside seating as well. Man at the door was so nice and updated us constantly when we would be seated. The meal was amazing. Every bite of sushi and sashimi was incredibly fresh and tasty! We had a flat beer and they switched it out for us and gave us the large beer bottles and apologized. Great customer service, amazing food, will definitely be back! read more

I hate to be that person but i couldn't resist taking a picture of our food because it was definitely Instagram worthy! On top of being taste approved, the owners' genuine pride in his restaurant is unmatched! He doesn't just serve food, but creates an artsy experience for his customers by explaining the region of the imported fish being served . Lastly but certainly not least, i must rave about the server Monse! Monse was the most AMAZING server EVER! She was extremely attentive in making sure we had everything we needed before we even requested it. She was friendly, professional, efficient, and just an overall pleasure to speak with. Although she was masked we could literally feel her smiling, and that type of service is rare. I don't have any recommendations because everything was delicious but if I was forced to choose I would say the Mexican was my favorite, thanks Monse for that recommendation! Was out in Long Beach for a day trip and stumbled on @Sushi. The ambience was chill, which we enjoyed. Customer service was great and the food was delicious. Best Sushi on second st, and probably in Long Beach!!! Came in on a Sunday night close to closing and sat at the bar. My boyfriend and I ordered some fatty yellowtail and salmon sushi. The fish was absolutely incredible and great quality. The sushi chef in front of us was so kind to us and gave us some seared salmon as well with some type of secret sauce they put on top that was amazing!!! For a main course I had their salmon collar, which was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. Hope people turn to this place instead of the other sushi options on second st. The staff and chefs are incredibly nice and the sushi quality is amazing. They have only been open for a month as well! read more

My wife and I were trying a Thai spot when we saw great looking pizzas being brought to people at outside tables so we had to go and give it a try. So glad we did. The place is pretty cool and bigger than expected. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as some common tables in front of the entrance. Service was good. It's an order at the front counter and take a number to your table and they bring the food to you. We went with three family members and got two different pizzas and both were so good. One was a loaded pepperoni with a hot honey sauce and the other had ricotta cheese with pepperoni and pickled jalapeños (the red ones). Absolutely delicious We also ordered fried onion rings (which I did not try as I don't do onions) and fried zucchini sticks. The sticks were very good but I was thrilled with the dip as it had dill and I should have just asked for ranch. I'm told the onion rings were very good. They came with a honey mustard sauce dipper which went great with the zucchini sticks by the way. We saw some very good looking chicken wings being served to other tables and plan to try those next time. Parking in this area can be tough at times however it's worth the effort believe me.

From the gentleman outside who greeted us and took the time to explain what to expect, to the owner who personally welcomed us and convinced me to try his favorite wine (and I don't even like wine--but it was delicious), the experience was top-tier. Every single person--from the host/hostess to the waitress to the staff delivering our food--was polite, attentive, and welcoming. 10/10 across the board. The interior is cute, quaint, and slightly intimate--perfect for a relaxed dining experience. Another 10/10. Now, the food--fresh, flavorful, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. Every bite was satisfying. I especially appreciated the pacing: salad first, then warm bread, followed by the main dish. The timing was seamless--no delays, no wondering when the next course would arrive. I'll also add: I'm not a big pasta person. I only crave it occasionally, and when I do, it has to be really good. I'm so glad I chose Due Fiori to satisfy that craving because the pasta was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back.

I believe they have you tip at the counter when ordering food before any service is given or before you're even sat is given which isn't my preference. The other issues was that the table was so small, and the food wasn't coursed out right, the table quickly became over crowded and the servers sort of just drop it whenever without prepping more space beforehand, I felt rushed to box food I wasn't finished with to make room for another incoming dish. The backyard seating is quaint, overall homey vibe. Pizza was just OK, the Cacio e Pepe was good as well as the bread service. Would come again, but my expectations will be just a little lowered for next time.

We got water immediately and placed our order right away. We got the large double pepperoni and it was huge. The cheese curds were delicious as well. The Brussels were good but I prefer the cheese curds. All the food came out quickly. Our server was great. It is a little pricey but its worth supporting this business. Im really happy there is a great neighborhood spot now.

Stumbled upon this place while driving down second street with some friends. It was a quiet Sunday night and they appeared to be fairly new so we decided to stop in to try it out! As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by such friendly staff and seated right away. The first thing that caught my eyes was the Black Snapper! I don't know many restaurants that carry it so I knew I had to try it. So I ended up getting the chefs 8piece sushi combo with an order of Black Snapper Sushi and our table shared the Albacore Delight Roll and the Hot Night Roll. The 8 piece sushi came with 2 pieces each of Salmon, Tuna, Yellowtail, and Albacore and your choice of miso soup or salad. The sushi, including the Black Snapper, was SUPER SUPER fresh and had the perfect rice to fish ratio. I was a little skeptical at first due to the high prices, but the quality of the fish was completely worth the price! Will definitely be back to try the Sashimi next. As for the rolls, they were all cut beautifully and had the perfect amount of sauce. I know some places like to drench their rolls in various sauces to hide the quality of the ingredients, but the rolls were completely balanced and delicious~ The overall atmosphere was super cosy and my friends and I were able to enjoy our meal with some good draft beer too! @Sushi is a cool sushi spot in Long Beach. Its corner location makes it easily accessible, and it's just a block away from the beach. There can be a wait at times, but the delicious food makes it worth it. My favorite appetizer is their garlic spicy edamame--spicy and delicious. I also love their spider roll, which features soft shell crab. The service is great, with staff frequently checking in on you. If you get to sit by the window, you can enjoy some people-watching, which makes for a fun time. I highly recommend this spot if you're into sushi. read more

I love this place. This is the place where I met my boyfriend for the first time, so we try to visit here whenever that sushi craving hits.
