New favorite sushi spot! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful little outdoor sushi bar,[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] delicious rolls, and very attentive staff. Delish, will be back ASAP

Not impressed. The best part about coming here was finding a parking spot right in front and visiting with my friend from out of town. Unfortunately everything else was a disappointment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We came here at 1215pm on a Thursday. The place was empty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were sat fairly quickly however it took our server a good 10 minutes to greet us and get us a drink. Another 10 minutes to order and over 30 to deliver our two rolls! We finally asked him why another table who walked in after us were severed first (the only other table in the restaurant) and he said... oh, there was a big TO GO order that was ahead of you. ????? We both ordered the protein roll. My friend requested sauce on the side and he had to be reminded again since they were not brought with the rolls. I love me a good protein roll but I was very disappointed with it. It tasted more like a n imitation crab roll with whatever fish on top. I also had to ask for a refill. I would not recommend this place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place also had a strange odor. Like wet dog.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was also what sounded like a pinball machine chime ringing con. I think it was their phone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I went for lunch. They have a special and it's quite incredible. I got 2 rolls and it came with miso soup. Delicious! I got caterpillar roll and spicy tuna roll. Our waitress was great, didn't wait too long for our rolls. She checked on us when needed. Overall great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is clean, they have a nice outdoor patio with bar seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will come again.

Food for lunch was delightful. Service at the sushi bar was exceptional. The chef was professional, personal and thorough. Highly recommend this location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating is open and bar seats are the best![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend!!

Got off a work trip late and wanted to find something that was in the area of my hotel. It was easy to find right off the corner. Upon arriving not very many people but nice crowd. Menus were very sticky... please clean your menus. Good variety of rolls to choose from. I like how you can scan the menu and see actual pictures of what you want to order. It does take a while for you to get food but this my favorite can't The spider hand roll was pretty tasty. It had a a lot of avocado but still good. The house salad could've used more of the ginger dressing. That miso soup was the star of the show. So good and flavor. So hot and everything. I would come back just for this. The rolls were great. They had a good variety to choose from. No shade they were slow. We didn't a refill until we were about it to leave. But over good experience here I will back.

4 stars for value and taste of food! Great local spot in PL. They have a beautiful patio and outside bar, plus indoor tables for seating. Food specials everyday, including weekends!! What is not to love?! Sushi, specials, weekend?! Service was mediocre. But everything else makes up for it. Also!! There is a delicious ice cream place next door. Nice treat after sushi. Yummm.

My cousin and I went here not long ago and I was shocked by how much I loved everything! My cousin is gluten free and they had so many amazing options which is rare at many Asian establishments! The crispy rice 10/10. Double crunch roll was delicious. Service was fast and definitely friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It appeared there were many regulars there![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would come back to this location for sure! Can't wait to try the one in Encinitas.

Had a visitor in town who was craving sushi and we had only been here for a quick drink and appetizer prior to this visit. Th three of us sat at the outside bar to watch a little Padres with our meal so we were served by the bartender, Nate(?) and he was great. We were starving so we ordered 4 full rolls and a few side dishes and apps. The miso soup to start was amazing. I have been subjected to some pretty crappy miso as of late. This miso had a mushroom/umami undertone that made it so much more than the usual. We got two rolls off of the competition menu between the different locations. And two rolls off the standard menu. They were all delicious. Some more jam packed than the others and hard to get in your mouth but not a deterrent for me. I'd definitely say the competition rolls were fun but decidedly more full. Personal favorite was the happy wife. We also got some cucumber salad and seaweed salad. I didn't know the cucumber salad came with the latter as well but I enjoyed the extra and ate it all! So ono!! Some folks were still hungry so we got the salmon carpaccio style dish. It reminded me of smoked salmon on a bagel. Wasn't my fave but the fish was good and my dinner partners loved it. Throughout our meal we had pleasurable interactions with our server/bartender who balanced the thirst needs of the bar and restaurant patrons very well. Excellent experience. I'll be back because I signed up for their rewards program as well. Seems like a good deal.

When we arrived, there was no line at all. Security was really nice, and we got in easily. There weren't many people inside around 10 PM, and I definitely feel like this bar is more of a "grab a drink, sit with your friends, and chat" type of spot. It's not a club or a dancing bar. We ordered a round of shots and a mixed tequila drink. It wasn't strong at all, but it was really delicious, and I genuinely enjoyed it. The server was also super nice, especially since our friend's mom kept ordering drinks and shots. He brought everything out quickly and with great service. I really loved the architecture and ambiance. It had a darker, cozy vibe, very much a small, deep-bar aesthetic. They also had some really cool paintings, and if you were wearing white or yellow, your clothes would glow in the dark, which was a fun touch. It wasn't super busy, and I appreciated how easy it was to find seating and just relax. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest, but it was still manageable. Overall, I'd definitely check out this spot if you're walking around Ocean Beach and want a chill place to grab a drink and hang out with friends.

Found out there's actually a Redskins watch party at this place called Winston in Ocean Beach really other side of America and there's a group of Redskin fans signed me up. These are my people here's what Winston's had to offer: Ambience: literally a dive bar in the middle of Ocean Beach security and everything. Guess they do a lot of events here live music parties, etc. actually quite a cool freaking place. Service: fast friendly and fun not only because I was here for the game but because they decorated up for the Redskins and literally had like 40 to 50 Redskins fans. Seems like they do a lot of live events and music which is super cool and I'm sure they do a great job as my service was fantastic. Food: I ordered a pizza. Some other guys had nachos. Everything looked good. My pizza was actually pretty good for a dive bar. Beer was cold. Tasty had some local flavor added in. It's not a Michelin restaurant but for a game night perfect. The summit all up I had a fantastic time. Parking is a nightmare down in Ocean Beach, but you know what it's a small price to pay for having a great couple hours watching a team celebrating with others that love the same team singing the same songs I eat the best fight song in NFL and doing it on the beach in California. I don't think it gets much better than that. Thanks for a great time Winston's hope to see you again. Keep munching, and HTTR!!!

As a trained chef and CEO of an entertainment production company, I've had the pleasure--and the…read moreresponsibility--of ordering **every item on Harbor Town Pub's breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus**. My professional verdict: HTP has, by far, one of the best **home-cooked meal vibes and flavors in San Diego**. Harbor Town Pub is a true San Diego Padres bar--*bar none*--but it's also much more than that. It's where Point Loma locals gather, along with visitors who want to experience what a genuine San Diego pub should be--and is. Every guest is greeted with an enthusiastic **"Welcome in!"**, and every departure receives a heartfelt **"Thaaaaank youuuu!"** That kind of warmth sets the tone immediately. The staff brings tremendous energy, and management is wonderful. If you're in the mood for craft cocktails, ask for **Blossom or Joel**. They're true masters of both classic and creative cocktails. The pub is family-friendly, with free movie-theater-style popcorn, bottomless coffee during brunch, and eight big-screen TVs showing all the sports action. There's something happening for everyone: **Taco Tuesday**, great music, wildly fun karaoke, and the legendary **Power Hour when the Padres win**. Military members, fishermen, boat captains, locals, and tourists all seem to find their way here--and nobody ever seems to have a dull moment. One especially meaningful touch: I designed a Padres sticker, and the team placed it on the back wall near the beer taps. That perfectly captures the spirit of Harbor Town Pub: welcoming, community-minded, proudly local, and full of personality. **If you want great food, genuine hospitality, Padres pride, and the authentic energy of a San Diego neighborhood pub, Harbor Town Pub is a must-visit.**
