Quite enjoyed their 11 course omakase! Went here with a friend for their 11 course lunch omakase. For $50, I thought it was a pretty good deal!! Loved the fish and the variety of flavors they had to offer. Food (5/5): - 11 course lunch deal - Felt they offered a pretty good variety of fishes from kinmedai, to eel, etc. - great ratio of sushi to rice. I find that some omakases that have similar deals tend to skimp out on the fish, but I found the ratio here to be pretty normal Service (5/5): - very friendly and prompt - showed me a picture/visual of the fish I was eating which I thought was nice Ambiance (5/5): - in a food court, but it was quite clean! unsure if I went during a calmer hour, but it was pretty quiet and somewhat empty - good for catching up with friends! maybe a date?? but only a maybe because it was quite short (i think it might have only been an hour or a little over an hour!

I had the 14 course omakase for $68 and it was a wonderful experience at sushi Nikko! The sushi chef and server were very nice and they made small talk with me since I was dining solo. I will definitely come back and try the lunch omakase deal

Ordered on Ubereats before, and it was alright. When I went in person, however, it was a much better experience! It's on the second floor of a food court, so it's typically pretty empty. The service is good! The 12 course is $68 so around $85 after tip and tax. Each piece was pretty good, and their appetizers were delish! I took a picture of a couple. The uni dish, toro scallion hand roll, and some fish pieces that were blow torched and savory were my favorites. There was not a single piece my friend and I disliked! The service was great too and very attentive. At some point, the waiter started showing us pictures of fish on an ipad which we found cute. Would recommend!

Stopped in for a quick omakase in queens. Sushi Nikko is located upstairs of the Jax & Co food court. Went with my sister during noon and the place was empty at the time. You can get 10 courses and a dessert for $50 pp or upgrade to the $68 option. Our chef, Andy explained each course to us and took his time preparing the perfect bite each time. The quality was great and Andy made sure to ask how we liked everything from time to time and even made conversation with us. It was nice to know that he truly casted about what he was serving. I had a great experience here and for $50 you really can't beat it.

EEL AVOCADO ROLL & SHRIMP TEMPURA Avocado ROLL

Ordered take out with uber eats but I have seen the location and it's pretty cute. My sushi combo was around $28 I got 4 pieces of 4 different maki rolls. What I ordered: Appetizer Crispy rice spicy tuna: overall pretty tasty. Each piece is pretty small compared to others I've gotten at other places. Flavorful. Spicy crab roll was my favorite from the combo. It had great flavor. Actual crab meat :). Eel roll was good too. I didn't realize the combo I ordered had a cooked salmon roll. I didn't like it, it tasted more fishy than raw sushi rolls. Shrimp tempura roll was good, pretty standard. Also the take out came with miso soup, which made me happy

I stopped by for an impromptu omakase dinner with a friend on a Saturday night. There were maybe 4-6 other guests at the sushi bar and we were seated promptly. We opted for the 16 course omakase for $88. (Not including dessert) All the courses were pretty tasty, other than the King salmon w/yuzu kosho piece that we found to be quite salty. It wasn't my favorite omakase, but I enjoyed it and for the price point thought it was good deal. A few things to note: The pieces were all on the smaller side. We didn't leave hungry, we weren't full either. 2nd dinner was had an hour or 2 later. (Maybe we just eat a lot) If you'd like to have cocktails with your meal, remember to purchase it at the bar downstairs prior to coming up to the 2nd floor. They will serve you sake, but cocktails are self serve.

I've ordered takeout a few times from Sushi Nikko and it's always fantastic. I usually go for the sunset combo and eel avocado roll, and it's the perfect amount of food for two people. Definitely a cut above the normal sushi takeout places - great value, too!

Sushi Nikko is an omakase restaurant (12 courses for $68 pp) on the 2nd floor of the JACX&CO LIC eatery. During my visit, I was interested in the combo sushi set orders to take to Gantry Plaza for a bridesmaid proposal picnic! I ordered 5 combo sushi sets - each set comes with 4 maki rolls x 4 pieces each = 16 pieces total (about $20 per box if you choose your own rolls). We ordered a combination of truffle avocado, spicy blue crab, spicy salmon, yellowtail jalapeño, eel avocado, salmon avocado, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, and shiitake mushroom. My favorites were the eel avocado and salmon avocado! This is such a great summertime activity - the setup was easy, the boxes were easy to hold and eat, the sushi was fresh and delicious, and it was easy to clean up. Just don't forget to cap the soy sauce :) P.S. They all said yes!

Full disclosure, I am NOT a sushi connoisseur and this was my first omakase. That being said, I've always thought sushi prices we're ripoff, especially for nigiri and sashimi. When I see an omakase for $80-100 it just blows my mind how someone could pay that. Maybe it's because I just can't tell what's good vs great sushi? While I've only seen those prices, I wasn't sure that they could be more affordable since I had never done it. Now after all of that, compared to other restaurant prices, $50 for a 10 course omakase is a GREAT deal. I did have to ask a friend to confirm that btw lol. Now as far as I could tell, the fish was fresh and each piece was flavorful. For the 10th course of the omakase, you get to choose from a couple of flavors of mochi ice cream; I chose the matcha (not pictured). Near the last course they present you with a menu to order supplemental items: I chose the Blue Fin Tuna Otoro Nigiri (great choice btw). The staff was attentive and the person preparing the sushi for us was great too. This was a really great experience for me and it didn't break the bank. My bill was only more because of my supplemental item as well as some drinks and gratuity of course.

I came to this area a few times and I finally got a chance to eat omakase lunch here. The omakase lunch is $50 for 10 courses (which includes one appetizer, one hand roll, one dessert, and seven pieces of nigiri). They do not accept walk ins for omakase so you need to book it on resy. Also, they do not offer omakase lunch on Mondays and Tuesdays (I learned it the hard way). There isn't a lot of workers here so be a bit patient when waiting for the seats. The server was very nice. He check up on me a few times and refilled my water cup every time I was done with the water. The server also showed me pictures of the fish I was about to eat. The decorations here are simple and it is located on the second floor of the food court. I love the atmosphere here. It's not too loud or too quiet. The food was good for the price. I tried other omakases before and I believe this place has it pretty basic and simple. Nothing stood out too much but I do really like the black cod nigiri. Overall, it was a good experience!

After starting a new job at we work I had my fingers crossed hoping sushi Nikko, being in the same building, would have at least decent sushi. My expectations were exceeded! Combo comes out to under 20$ with a soup and the 4 rolls are filling even for someone like me who feels the need to order something extra. Quality of fish is very high, everything was the perfect temperature. Slightly warm rice, nice crispy seaweed with soft delicious fish. Miso soup was piping hot and the perfect amount of salt and flavor for me. My new go to lunch spot. If you work/live in the area consider coming here a no-brainer.

3.5 So I have to say that their packaging is beautiful (5) It's clever and so presentable. This place is located in the second floor of Jacx&Co . The sushi was ok though. Nothing special stood out. I would though be willing to try something else on the menu.

My husband treated me to an omakase lunch at Sushi Nikko for my birthday, and it was such a great experience. The fish is very fresh and delicious, and the rice is the perfect texture and consistency. The staff members and chef were very sweet and attentive, and they brought out a special mochi dessert at the end with a candle (in addition to the sweet cream custard dessert that was already included). You can order sake from downstairs and it gets delivered to you, which was easy and convenient. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to returning.

Be careful when you go inside because there is a step after you open the door. Packaging was convenient with the handle around the sushi box. Overall, the fish was mediocre considering the price. Some pieces were soft while others were very stringy and chewy. I am not one to dip sashimi in soy sauce because I like to just enjoy the natural flavor of raw fish with a little wasabi. However, since the fish was a bit fishy, I needed a little soy sauce to mask the taste. The wasabi was also on the mild side, so I added more than I usually would. I would have rated this place a 3/5, if I did not find a hair sitting on top of the ginger...

You have two options - $69 for 12 courses and $100 for 16 courses. Chefs are distributed evenly for parties allowing for a fairly intimate setting but with efficient service. The restaurant had multiple areas set up as such. The omakase serves many typical offerings starting off with hamachi, kanpachi, shima aji, and kinmedai. They do clearly ask about rice and wasabi preference in size throughout the dinner which is quite considerate. Drink menu was fine with a number of sake options including the chefs sharing glasses throughout the meal! The fish tasted good and fresh, rice was fine though nothing memorable. Middle courses had uni, ikura and snow crab - good courses and filling. Finally we ended with the premium courses - toro caviar and a5 Wagyu with uni. I would've preferred the toro/wagyu alone and is just my personal preference that the gourmet add ons don't enhance the piece for me. Otherwise they were very good. You then have the option to order additional courses including extras off the menu. Overall sushi by m is an excellent value for the omakase course and quality of fish. The dining experience is quite hospitable towards each party and chefs are quite engaging. I would definitely recommend for casual omakase experiences!
