Pleased to have a convenient sushi takeout option in E. Vancouver. Ordering online was easy and our order was ready to go when I arrived 15 minutes later. The sushi was freshly prepared and tasted great, as did the leftovers after 24 hours in the refrigerator. A nice bonus was the California roll added to orders over $20 as a promotion. I only had takeout so can't speak on the dine-in service but take out experience was nice and quick. The portions are a bit small but it's pretty typical of japanese sushi joints. Quality is also typical of these types of restaurants so I think if you are not looking for super nice quality fish with the best skill it will satisfy your roll cravings enough. read more

The food there is Amazon I like the master roll and the rainbow roll I normally get the lychee fizz and the service is amazing I love this place but the place gets busy often and is hard to find a seat but a 20-30 minuet the ambiance is fine I didn't really notice anything special about it because it is a smaller place but amazing. read more

As a sashimi lover, alot of places always take non sushi rolls as an after thought. The sashimi plate was decent in taste and presentation. Had their seared salmon and creamy scallops and while the seared salmon was no different than other places, I noted a bit of a fishy smell or taste to the creamy scallop. The appetizers and rice dish were also decent. read more

Always clean. Staff is great and attentive. Some unconventional rolls but so good. I get the bang bang roll and the she hulk (lol). They are really good. The sonumonu salad is the best in town. We ordered takeout for the first time from here. We got a bento box, some sushi, and gyoza. The Gyoza was completely cold when we got home, the rest of the food was a good temperature. My husband said the sushi was good. The chicken teriyaki in the bento box was the worst I've ever had. The meat was fatty and chewy and the teriyaki sauce tasted like thick soy sauce. So I guess moral of the story... stick to the sushi if you eat here. Which makes sense since it's primarily a sushi restaurant. read more

My wife and I wanted to eat out last night and we always struggle with places to go in East Vancouver and Camas. We found our replacement for Saburos, with Sushi Ninja. My wife had the bento box and couldn't have been happier with the addition of the salad and great Miso soup. I had the salmon lover roll and Hanna roll. Two similar rolls, may mix it up next time. But there definitely will be a next time because we finally found a sushi place worth the price. Good food. Good Service. Thanks Matthew. Amazing. They have the best miso soup ivevever had. Tempura great. I have absolutely no complaints. When I first moved to the northwest you couldn't find decent Japanese food. One place called Bush Garden in Portland. They are gone now. The variety for Japanese now is wide open. If you are looking for great Japanese I suggest you try Sushi Ninja first! read more

When I called they not only did the make it right by making my missed item but they also delivered it to me with a gift card. They went above and beyond. I should add the food is delicious too. We tried this place the during its first grand opening and definitely loved the ambiance inside. The food was really great and was at a great price. I'd recommend the lunch specials, they come with so much and the chicken Katsu was so good. They also have these flavored sparkling waters which I haven't seen anyplace else so that's always a fun thing to get here. The service was 50/50 for us, the first time we went, the wait was a little long and was able the same amount of time the 2nd round. Overall, will be back! read more

We got takeout, so can't speak for the atmosphere. My boyfriend did say they were very nice. The sushi was incredibly mediocre for the price. We got quite the variety of rolls and there was nothing that was exciting. Everything was majorly lacking flavor - it was all very bland. Nothing really tasted fresh, there was very little protein in each roll - mostly rice and veggies.. didn't quite look like the photos. The ginger actually tasted like it might be bad or have been sitting out way too long. I normally love eating ginger between my bites, but didn't end up eating any past the first few pieces. We normally go for Kyoto down the road, but thought we'd try this place since it's new. Probably won't be back. read more

Stopped here for lunch with my wife (who does not like sushi) and was happy to see they had hot dishes as well as a vast menu of sushi offerings. The staff was super nice and very helpful. The food made it to our table quickly and really very tasty. The pricing was quite reasonable and I felt that I received a good value for my money. First visit my husband and I both ordered the Chirashi and were so happy with the quality of the fish and the delicious rice that we don't order anything else. It comes with miso soup and tsukemono, which both are very good too. The restaurant was very clean and our server was very friendly. So glad this little sushi place moved into our area! read more

Friendly atmosphere. We were greeted immediately. The host gestured us to sit at a clean table but it took over 5 minutes to get menus and water. We waited another 15 minutes to order and it wasn't busy at all. Food took another 20 minutes to come out. Rolls were alright. Tasted fresh but not rolled tightly enough and came apart when you tried to pick it up. I'm not sure I'll go back unless the other neighboring sushi joints are closed and I'm really craving sushi. Service was excellent, great atmosphere, and really good sushi! We came during lunch and both ordered a lunch combo, which was like $13.98ea. You can choose two rolls from their "classic rolls" menu which there's quite a few to choose from. The plates were both huge and the quality was excellent! By far the best and cheapest sushi I have had! Can't wait to come another time for dinner and try some of the "premium" rolls, which I imagine will be great given how satisfying even the cheaper classic rolls were. read more
