Stumbled upon this amazing sushi place while looking where to go for dinner with my husband. The atmosphere is really nice, staff is all nice and helpful. My husband got the Ninja Sushi sampler, the nigiri was fresh and so good, and the rolls that came with it were very tasty too! I got the Cuici roll and the Salmon lover roll. CUICI roll BLEW MY MIND!!!! We came back again with our daughter a few days later to get more sushi! Definitely our new favorite sushi place! read more

The ambiance is great, very traditional Japanese decor with that special Japanese feel, the service is great, and the food is fresh and off very good quality and value. Was skeptical because of the strip mall location but went with the family and everything was delicious! Sushi was fresh with some really tasty roll combinations. Bento boxes did not disappoint and yakisoba noodles were tasty (the chicken on it not so much but the rest made up for it). Food was well paced and service was attentive despite being very busy. We stopped here for lunch today after seeing that the Yelp average was 4.5 stars. Even Yelp can be wrong. Our meal was about average. Although you cannot beat the lunch special price! We got 4 rolls for the cost of 2! My wife and I have eaten at many sushi restaurants and this one was . I had miso soup and my wife had the cucumber salad. The soup was good. The dressing in the salad was great but the cucumbers were quite limp and had soaked too long. The sushi rolls had way too much rice so we brought home half the meal. We had the Spicy Yellowtail roll, California Roll, Master Roll, and one last one that was okay. Of the four, the Master Roll was the best. read more

I'm a frequent flier here. Their lunch special can't be beat, with two of their classic rolls for $13+side cucumber salad and miso soup for .99¢. The bang bang roll and ninja rolls are my favorite, and my 4yo and 18 mo love their blackened tuna avocado roll. I also love their veggie tempura, so crisp and fried to perfection. We have recommended this place to a lot of our friends and they've given it high marks as well. We will continue enjoying Sushi Ninja! read more

The place has fun decor and is VERY clean. They are super quick to pick up tables after people leave, and really make it spotless. Our server was very nice, and checked in just enough. Now for the food - the lunch special goes until 4 PM and is SUCH a good deal. As long as this deal is around, we're guaranteed to come back to this spot. So far it's the best sushi we've had on the north side of the river. Basically $7 a roll, and they are so good! Very flavorful, 8-12 pieces, fresh. The place is clean and service is ok . I ordered the seaweed salad to start which came out 40% frozen . I sent it back and about 8 minutes late they brought the same plate back however this time it was about 25% frozen . I told them to take it off my order . The edamame was over cooked and over salted . The sashimi was just ok . The Maguro lacked taste most likely from being in the freezer too long . I suspect this place is ok if you like fried rolls with obnoxious sauces and cream cheese abundantly smothered on your " sushi" rolls . read more

I decided to give this restaurant a second try and order online for takeout. After all, sometimes restaurants may have an off day. Not this restaurant. My sushi was worse then my first experience ordering from here. I tried the "Lunch Roll special", with any two for $12.98. I ordered one of the "Master Roll" and one "Spider Roll". The Master Roll was horrible! The rice was very mushy and the tempura was gross! The inside tasted fishy (and not in a good way). The Spider Roll was just as fishy tasting as the Master Roll. Part of it was the Tobiko that tasted foul on the Spider Roll. After eating only a few bites, I had that "fishy" taste in my mouth that lingered...Gross! If I hadn't paid with cash, I would have surely been asking for my money back, which I rarely do. Save your money and go elsewhere! read more
