Pleasantly surprised! I had the scallion veggie pancake, and it was full of tasty veggies and egg with not too much batter = perfect. Great sauce, too. Had the fried ocra and spicy pork dol sot bibimbap - hit the spot after walking the 2 mi in the snow to get there. I'm was visiting from Oakland, where we have a pretty strong Korean restaurant selection, and Suzy's Kitchen could fit in just fine. I love this Korean place. It is located in an unassuming corner in West Bremerton and we regretted that we had not tried this place sooner. We have been coming back fairly regularly. It has a "home" feel with kind and pleasant staff who are always cheerful. Their bibimpap (in a really hot stone bowl!) that comes with various kimchi, pickles and vegetable mini dishes is very satisfying with a lot of vegetables in it! read more

The food was good and the staff is very friendly. I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and kind service. I'm only leaving 4 Starts because it took 25 minutes to make 2 plates of food. We ordered and waited. Their was only one other person eating there and the waitress was talking with them the whole time. We almost got up and left but I was told it was worth the wait. My wife and I found this hole in the wall when driving through Bremerton. The food was good. I had the beef bulgogi with white rice and traditional korean side dishes. My wife ordered the spam and garlic fried rice. Our server was friendly and very attentive. By checking in on Yelp, we were offered a free appetizer. If it was in a better neighborhood, it would've earned 5 stars (next to a tobacco store and gun store/pawn shop). Ample parking and reasonable prices. read more

The food was better for the area but not the best Korean I've ever had. The best thing we ordered were the cream cheese wantons with cinnamon inside. Not sure if I'd go back simply because my husband bit into his bulgogi and there was a metal stick that wedged into his jaw. I've been more of a Yelp searcher than reviewing, this is my first review so far---I guess...anyway, I was impressed! The presentation is simple, the taste and flavor is well executed. Now, my only suggestion is having "raw" egg on the side to be cracked on top of the hot Tofu Soup. It enhances the taste and experience. Been here many times before but haven't gotten around to writing a review. Food here is amazing and not just 'Kitsap amazing'. All Korean dishes here are pretty authentic (as far as I could tell) and each entrée comes with about 7-8 sides that get changed from time to time. Each dish seems like it is prepared with great care and is very flavorful. I've also ventured into the 'American' side of the menu and have not been disappointed there either. Service is friendly and usually very consistent. If you are looking for a Korean restaurant or any restaurant with great food, service, and decent prices, look no further than Suzy's Kitchen. It's located in a not too good looking area, but don't let that deter you from eating some great food! read more

Suzy's was a Friday afternoon tradition for me during my blissful stint in beautiful WA! The Kimchi is amazing as is the Bulgogi. They have the best soups on the peninsula!!! The only thing that rivals the soups are the tasty sides that accompany them. They typically amount to 5-6 small plates of spicy and tasty veggies. UNREAL! Finally tried this place, we drive by it all the time. My fiancé had the beef dac-tori-taung, I had the beef bibimbab. We did take out, it was amazing! Both of us also shared the cream cheese wontons, which were also amazing. But be careful, when they say spicy they mean it!! We will totally be coming back for more it is amazing!!!!! read more

Their bulgogi and daeji bulgogi is seriously great!!! I would recommend anybody to go there to eat, I personally eat there for lunch a lot.

I have fallen in love with Suzy's Kitchen. I started going a couple months back and have tried dining in and delivery, both with extreme satisfaction. the pork bibimbap is my favorite and comes in a sizzling stone bowl (make sure you get your egg over easy so the bowl cooks it into your food). There's also a kim chi pork dish that I always order for carry out, which will literally make your eyes roll back. yes, it's actually that good. another bonus of dining in is that they serve you quite a few nice little bites including many pickled radishes, spinach with amazing dressing, kim chi, fish cakes, and much more. Every bite is absolutely to savor and with ample meal sizes, you feel like you've got your money's worth. read more

The workers I met were very nice & I love that they can accommodate for vegans! As a vegan I'm always a little skeptical of restaurants but the waitress here was super helpful at knowing what was vegan and what could be made vegan. The portion sizes were good and the food tasted excellent. One thing to note, I got the udon soup which was absolutely delicious, but did not make great leftovers (the other dishes were awesome the next day)... just something to keep in mind. Excellent place - in all fairness I've only ate lunch here once but plan on going back. The house made kimchi speaks for itself with perfect balance and not too strong on any particular front - a perfect amalgamation of garlic pepper vinegar sweetness and slight fermentation. We found Suzy's on Yelp when looking to catch a quick lunch in Bremerton before catching the ferry to Seattle. We were drawn by the promise of fresh, quality homemade Korean and American food to please a variety of palettes in our small group. We ordered the Kimchi, Korean sushi, dumplings soup and a side of fried ochra. Everything was fresh & delicious. A complimentary taste of Suzy's homemade corn bread was very special. Best of all is Suzy herself, who serves and cooks everything. Her love of cooking and hospitality came through everything we ate.
