Came here on a Saturday around 9:30 and it was already busy! We were seated right away as a party of two with a high chair, but the restaurant filled up quickly after we arrived. The service was great from start to finish. Everyone was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The food did take a little while to come out though. We ordered the chicken wings, chicken croffle, and blueberry moffle. The chicken croffle was easily the star of the meal! The croffle was crispy, buttery, and full of flavor, while the chicken was nice and juicy. The chicken wings were also delicious, and we really liked the rice cakes that came with them. The blueberry moffle was our least favorite, but it was still good. I just wish it came with a side. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back to try more of the menu!
One of my favorite spots for brunch in the Bay! I stopped by with some friends to catch up over brunch. Service was quick and friendly and the restaurant's atmosphere is bright and comfy. It's definitely on the pricier side but when I've been the food has been consistently tasty and fresh. What we tried: - Millionare's bacon sampler patter - comes with the original, citron, cinnamon, and rosemary flavors. This was my first time actually trying their millionare's bacon, which is a thick cut bacon coated in a sweet and mildly spicy glaze. Definitely a fun dish to share and sample - Tornado galbi omurice - soft scrambled egg over veggie fried rice, galbi, and demi-glace. Overall a solid dish, the egg is cooked to such a soft and silky texture and the galbi was so good - wish they were a bit more generous with the galbi portion size - Big hip - deep fried French toast topped with butter and fruits. My first time trying this dish as well and I really enjoyed the texture of the French toast - hearty but not overly heavy. Visited on a Saturday morning and the place was packed! Waited a short while in line at 11 am, but didn't see an empty table anywhere through the time we dined Great service from the staff and nice ambiance - there's a surprising amount of tables inside. Food was decent, but looked a lot more delicious than it tasted. Corn and French toast were good, but the other fusion foods were just ok especially for the price. Portions were great though!
New obsession! Croffle and fried chicken. The idea of waffle and chicken , but croffle ... crossant, waffle and fried chicken is to die for. When we first put our name, we were the 50th.... it took about 45 min to go from 50th to be seated. Not bad, we walked around the block, checked out stores and walah!
We didn't need a reservation here. Walked right in for brunch and were seated as a party of two. Staff were nice and attentive. The place is clean and spacious. They seem busy but we had zero complaints with service. Food came out quickly and it was so fresh. Our entire experience was about 1h (knowing this as we received a message from the street parking meter) and we did not feel rushed once. They were just on top of things. Freshly squeezed orange juice, can't go wrong. I had an order of scrambled eggs and potatoes with a side of fried chicken. The eggs were nice and fluffy. At first glance, we thought our toast would be a piece of brick but it was surprisingly warm, soft, and delicious. Wish we had more. The wings were pretty tasty as well. I ended up packing the rest of the wings to go as a snack for our mini road trip. Overall good brunch spot.
We came here for my birthday brunch on a late Saturday morning and we wait about 20-25 mins, which isn't too bad since I heard people waited 1-2 hrs before. I got the Loco Moco and while it was pretty good, the flavors didn't stand out to me too much. I don't know what the interiors look like since we sat outside, but they had several outdoor seatings. They also charge a 20% service fee for large party, and they didn't inform us in any way (like verbally, putting up a sign, or stating it in the menu) until after we paid and it was too late. We should had looked at the receipt more carefully, but I felt like they should have made it clearer
Quaint little nook with Asian inspired breakfast. A lot of tasty options here and the bacon is a must! Gives a different take on bacon. Loved their Ube Lattes, Benedicts, and Skilets. Potatoes were crispy and cooked to perfection. It is a little pricey. Although the food was good, I thought it was overpriced for what we got. The service was also a little slow. It was crowded when we went, so possibly just backed up. But I had to personally ask for refills on my water and wanted to order another coffee, but they hadn't come back to our table for 20 min after our food was out. Again, I do say they get busy. Also we were near the door during a windy day. We asked if we could close it because it was cold and they denied our request.

This place is super cute, with (crowded) indoor seating and nice patio seats too. Expect a wait if you come later in the morning, but at 9am we found a table for 2 quickly. I tried their English Breakfast tea, which was a Tea Forte bag (mesh bag with a little leaf) and had great flavor. They serve the hot tea with a pot of water for multiple servings. I had the Sweet Maple Scramble, mostly because I wanted to try the famous Millionaire's bacon. It was absolutely worth it: THICK chunks of bacon. Order anything that comes with the bacon. The lemon hollandaise on the scramble was flavorful but not too heavy, and the eggs come with ciabatta and roasted vegetables. This place is a bit pricey for me to come alone, but if you're coming on a cute date or with family, absolutely recommend.
I went with the two eggs any style for my plate when I came to Sweet Maple for the first time. Luckily I was able to substitute the regular ciabatta bread for their gluten free toast but at an additional charge of $3. I also wanted to substitute the potatoes for fruit and was charged an additional $5 for it. I want to say the bacon here is amazing! My friends and I also got the Millionaire's Bacon Sample and I keep thinking about it. All my friends enjoy their plates. But would I say if I would come again? Maybe, only if friends wanted to come. If feels overpriced with the many substitutions I have to make due to my dietary restrictions. The staff was real friendly regardless, despite the restaurant be busy, they never forgot to check in with us.
Service was great. Wait was incredibly long so make a reservation or get there early enough so the table is available by the time you're hungry. The restaurant was bustling inside and out. It's also in a cute little plaza where I can grab coffee and wait for my turn. The runaround for food was so quick that it took me by surprised but I guess it has to be quick since so many people were waiting to dine. The menu has all kinds of flavors: Japanese, western, Korean, Thai..? Confusing, but Sweet Maple does it pretty well. We got the omurice and the crab Benedict which was absolutely delicious. The roasted vegetable side that came with the eggs Benedict was also super crispy and flavorful. Overall, I enjoyed the meal!
Super cute brunch place! Waitlist usually moves by pretty quick. Everything is very aesthetic, from the interior to the table decor to the food. I personally love the mochi waffle here and the fruit always tastes refreshing! Service is also fast and nice but for some reason, drinks took a really long time. It came towards the end of our meal and this was after we reminded. Note for birthday cakes: they charge a $2.50 fee per person to eat it there so please keep this in mind. I understand the point of the fee but it seems kind of pointless for how small it is.
Not sure the popularity of this place! I ordered a chai latte and had to remind the waiter a couple of times before it arrived. The avocado croissant was about $14 and very small for the price--roughly 3" x 4. The matcha muffin was awful. It seemed undercooked and had a bitter aftertaste. It was so underbaked that the caramel-like filling stuck to my teeth. Considering the prices, the food quality and portions did not meet my expectations.
One of my favorite brunch spots in South Bay, classic comfort food with a creative twist. The Hemingway Benedict is my go-to and for good reason: the salmon and lemon play perfectly off the hollandaise, balancing the savory with a nice acidity. The matcha moffle is a must-try too, that chewy QQ texture makes it stand out from your standard waffle. And if you're in a burger mood at brunch, you really can't go wrong with any option on the menu. Only complaint is that the portions seem to have gotten noticeably smaller over time, which stings a little at this price point. Also worth noting that weekend waits can get long, so plan accordingly or go early. Still a spot I keep coming back to. Just come hungry and patient.
Stopped by for brunch for my friend's birthday on a weekend around 10:30 and the wait for three people was about 40 minutes. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We dined outdoor this time around. I ordered the morning Thai cioppino and loves this dish! I'd been Sweet Maple before but couldn't remember for the life of me what I ordered last time, so it probably didn't stand out. But this dish definitely left an impression and will probably be my go-to order whenever I come! I love cioppino as is, so I was so curious to see how they would make theirs "Thai". They did it subtly with just the right amount of Thai flavor so that it accents the dish without over taking it. They give a solid amount of seafood and the egg was cooked to perfection! read more

We've been to the sweet maple in Cupertino and loved it! So excited that they opened up one in Palo Alto . We waited for about 25 min which was sooner than I expected based on the crowd outside. We ordered and the food almost came instantaneously! Millionaires bacon sample -- all delish! Stone pot with galbi -- I love all the veggies and the galbi is very tender. Chicken sausage scramble Chicken croffle --OMG! It was super crunchy and the meat was tender and juicy, the croffle tasted like a croissant , as advertised. Sweet Maple is a small chain breakfast and brunch restaurant right on University Ave in downtown Palo Alto. The queue is long but it does move quickly. I recommend getting on the waitlist before you arrive. The service is friendly and pretty efficient. The facility is clean but the bathrooms in the shared hallway are a bit weird. We got the Chicken Croffle which was really well prepared. The chicken was tender and the Croffle was tasty and flaky. The California burger was actually better. This Sweet Maple location is better in my opinion than the Cupertino location. They have nice indoor and outdoor seating which is a huge plus. I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken and it was phenomenal. Super crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. I'd come back just for that. The Omurice was good but needed salt. Service was fast, especially for a busy weekend morning. The staff was friendly and kept things moving without making us feel rushed. We were seated at the bar and the bartenders were great! Always checking in on us, we didn't have to ask for anything. We checked in at the host stand using the Yelp Waitlist. Put our names down and walked around the downtown area, saved us at least an hour of standing around. Highly recommend doing this if you're coming on a weekend. Only downside were the pancakes. They looked great but were kind of dense and dry, not what I was expecting, especially from a place known for brunch but they are known for their croffle so I'll get that next time. Nice chic brunch place on University Avenue in PA. There's usually a line for brunch on weekends but you can take your chances with walk-ins on a weekday. Beautiful interiors and friendly and efficient staff. I love the Ube latte (hot) with oat milk and the ahi salad is a staple for me. The portion sizes are huge so come with a big appetite and prices are what you'd expect in PA downtown. The food is delicious and creatively presented. Decided to try this place for a late lunch. There was no line (yippee). Cute place, loved the high ceiling and the decor. Staff were friendly and our waters were constantly being filled. Food: Korean fried chicken with garlic honey flavor, super yummy and the batter was light. I asked if they had rice and they did :) Butter fried corn - nothing special but was good Millionaire's bacon sample platter (the star of the show) - was worth the $26. This is the second time we've come here. The food has been pretty solid both times. Anticipate that on a weekend you will have a long wait for brunch. Luckily there's a coffee shop next door and other places to walk around and see. (We walked over to Bells Books) As for the food, it is well done. Our first trip we had the blueberry mochi waffle, the chicken and croffle, millionaires bacon with pancakes, and the salmon Benedict. This time we ordered the Loco Moco, the Stone Pot rice and the savory soufflegg. I enjoyed the flavors of the meal there wasn't anything that blew us out of the water but for a solid tasty brunch that doesn't disappoint, this is great. Solid 4 stars. We went on a long weekend and we were surprised that our wait was less than 30 minutes to be seated However, they were too busy to even greet us with waters. So there goes another 30 minutes waiting for any water. Food was amazing even though we had some specific modifications, some weren't met and it was too busy to even bother bringing it up. I wish there was less bell peppers in the Ramen and more actual veggies. 24$ for a cup noodles with 1 egg and sooooo much bell peppers. Might start making it at home. But yes it was stilllll good ! Def an experience and we'll bring people here to try once ! read more

Delicious food that is a feast for your eyes & tummy! This place has a very nice indoor & outdoor dining area that is casual, airy and inviting. Lots of food & drink options including many Asian/Korean fusion dishes. We had the signature Millionaires Bacon, which was deliciously crispy, candied and glazed with maple syrup. We also had the ahi tuna/poke salad and the French toast topped with caramelized banana, candied walnuts, Grand Marnier infused maple syrup and served with fresh fruit. Both were so delicious. I enjoyed for my drink, the dirty (espresso) ube latte, iced. I will have to come back again to try other dishes. Overall, a very nice dining experience. read more

Came here for brunch during some gap time between my son's soccer tournament. It's also Easter Sunday. This place was very crowded. They do not take reservations (at least not on the weekend) but they have a Yelp waitlist at the entrance where you can select indoor or outdoor seating, but if it does not matter, it's best to go with the first available for faster seating. We waited roughly 15 minutes before being seated. The staff was friendly and fast. The eggs were buttery and delicious and I enjoyed the Brussel potatoes which had pieces of fried Brussel sprouts in it. This restaurant is on a popular strip in Palo Alto near Stanford university so there's a large population of college students. Overall the experience was just ok. Personally, it was too many people all bundled in one space which is not my vibe but given our time constraint and not knowing ahead of time, we made the best of it. I've dined at the Walnut Creek location and had a better experience. I will likely not visit this location again. read more

Everything that we ordered was good!! When I ordered the dirty ube latte, the staff informed me in is a little sweet. I asked for less sugar and it was good. Fried corn was naturally sweet and soft. The highlight was the egg souffle... it was heavenly! Check out the video and see how wobbly it is... so soft and perfectly seasoned. Restaurant decor is chic. I would have given 5 starts to the price was a little lower... just a little. Not in the picture but we also ordered a side of french toast... it was 1 piece for $8. Me and wife just happen to find this place. Not from the area. Place was busy at 1100am but we got seated right away. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Place is decorated nice and has a lot of tables. Very decent size menu. Couldn't really decide on what we want to try. Lots of things sounded great. My wife had the loco moco, we ordered the corn for appetizer and I got the breakfast tacos. Everything came out really hot and fast. We also tried the Matcha latte and the Ube latte. everything tasted great. We definitely recommend to anyone. Service was very friendly, not pushy to try to get us out even though it was super busy and people were waiting. Love love love. I have been to this location more times than I can count. Each photo I've posted is from a complete separate time going. I honestly haven't had a singular dish I didn't enjoy from here. The food is always good. The staff is also very friendly and really helpful, within all the times that I've gone (which is well over 5) I'm always greeted with the same lovely vibes. The space is a big with lots of seating but it does get quite packed. It's not overly packed where I feel uncomfortable or like I'm touching elbows with a stranger but it's on the warmer side with a lot of people inside. But I always recommend this gem! We trying to sweep maple chain for the first time in Palo Alto. First thing as you get there, a nice host greeting you. As soon as you get to the table our waiter brought waters, and asked if we wanted something to drink besides water. We did order a dirty ube latte, a regular latte, and one fresh squeezed orange juice. Our food came out so fast, we enjoyed every single bite! So tasty, so delicious. I was amazed! The millionaires bacon was so good, the best for me was the cinnamon and the original of course! After our meal, we couldn't get a waffle, it was so much food. So we finish with a mimosa and an aperol spritz. Overall, the service and the food are totally worth it! Restaurants and restrooms were clean as well. There's parking on the street or also the option to park in the back of the restaurant, with a little parking lot. I would recommend coming here, because I would definitely be back! read more

Visited Nov.16 for my daughter's birthday. We wanted a nice lovely brunch with the family and this seemed like the place. 1st definitely sucks you can reserve ahead of time and waiting time is long. For the price you pay it feels very rushed to eat here, while you're sitting they start trying to clear plates asking you if you'll like to go boxed or if you're done! Literally 15 mins after you got food. And you're eating and talking so they are trying to get your money and sit the next group. I just wouldn't come here again. Don't recommend for over 2 people to dine here. My sizzling stonepot with galbi tasted a lot like fish sauce which was unpleasant since it wasn't a seafood plate . It was steak plate. Hubby got shrimp avocado waffle and it was tasteless, they just placed dry cold flavorless shrimp over avocado , no seasonings at all on this. My daughter liked her plate chicken sandwich with fries and dessert . Cute place, nice brunch spot! For reference i am not the biggest fan of sweetness on savery food so take with grain of salt if u do like that! Got the kfc honey garlic it was good but too sweet and ( too much oil and butter for me ) but still good ! I got the breekie taco and again the meat was a little too sweet and chewey for me, loved the potatoes tho ! My bf got one of the sizzling plates he said it was good but again a little to sweet million dollar bacon very good ! First time trying this Sweet Maple branch. I've only ever been at the SF location before. I really liked this Palo Alto branch since it's walking distance to a lot of otherr food/drinks places. Parking can be hard. The food was really good! My favorite was the chicken croffle since the flavors of the chicken & waffle was just enough since their chicken isn't overly breaded. I wish their cioppino had more seafood since I feel like the soup bowl had more veggies than the actual seafood for me. The staff was attentive. We came for Monday brunch, not too busy, but still a good amount of people inside. Overall, I'd for sure come back to try their other food options on their menu. read more

Had been seeing a lot of reels about Sweet Maple and their bacon flight. They offer 4 different flavors. My favorite was the original. MILLIONAIRE'S BACON® SAMPLER PLATTER *Original the one and only *Citron orange and sea salt goodness *Cinnamon hint of chipotle with sweet cinnamon *Rosemary savory rosemary and pepper with mild sweetness We tried the chicken and waffles as well as their Hass Omelette! Both were tasty, yet the home fries (Brussel potato mixture) weren't cooked done enough and lacked seasoning. The mango-tajin margarita was fire! Service was good. We were sat close to our reservation time. Parking is a doozy- leave time to locate a park and pay attention to the posted signage on the meters. They now have a location in Walnut Creek and can't wait to try there. read more

For an outdoor brunch with a group, Sweet Maple is perfection. Great coffee to start, a menu full of unique offerings and decadent takes on the classics means everyone will be happy with their order and leave totally stuffed. Our server was great, too - he kept checking back even though the restaurant was slammed. The only downsides are the wait for a table (but the line moves fast) and the focus on the "must have" bacon flight - it's good but hard to share and feels sort of gimmicky. The unique egg dishes are far more intriguing and we all adored the potato-Brussels sprouts hash as a side. read more

Meeting friends here for brunch, first time to this location for all of us. 10:30 ish on a weekday appears to be the sweet spot as it's off peak hours so the place was not as crowded when we got seated. Waitstaff were friendly, very attentive and efficient I ordered the chicken croffle, friends had the stone pot and Benedict. The chicken croffle came impressively pressented with a big stack of two pieces of fried chicken thighs and two pieces of croffles, I enjoyed the fruits and nuts as well as the crunchy chewy texture of the croffles, the chicken unfortunately was quite dry. The stonepot and Benedict both looked fantastic and very well enjoyed by the friends. The place did get very busy and noisy towards lunch time. The bene served with red potatoes and brussel sprouts looked so good, I will be ordering that next visit. read more

We were looking for dog friendly places and decided to come here, but unfortunately it was really cold that day so we did not bring the dogs but came anyway. Plenty of outdoor seating outside. Went on a Wednesday for brunch and all the street parking nearby was gone. Luckily I found a parking spot in the garage nearby, it's free for 3 hours. We got seated pretty quickly but it was a little confusing whether or not to go inside to get seated or wait outside. Drinks: We ordered an Ube latte and Tiffany Blue mimosa. Both were really good! The Ube latte had good flavor, I think they used ube halaya and not just ube flavoring because at the end of my cup I saw small chunks of ube. Food: We shared 3 dishes, the blueberry moffle, 1 percenter burger, and tornado galbi omurice. The tornado galbi was my favorite. The galbi was tender and the sauce was so good. So filling too! It had a lot of rice. The burger was my second favorite but it was so hard to eat. I got it with salad and the plate was so full lol. The mochi waffle was a pretty standard mochi waffle but the blueberry flavor was amazing. read more

I went at 11am on a Saturday and the wait was 1.5 hours long. If you show up later the wait could be 2+ hours. The best time to go is before 9am so you don't have to wait that long
