We did a pick up order as we've been wanting to try Sweetgreen. Easy to order from their page and food was ready quickly. Easy to go in and give your name and pick up your food. The inside was modern and simply decorated with friendly staff. The salads were tasty and filling.

Love the concept of a healthy 'fast-food' option that's easily accessible! After a workout class in the area, some friends and I wandered over to sweetgreen for dinner. I've been to other sweetgreen locations, but this is my first time visiting the one in Andersonville. The inside was sleek and bright, and we were happy to see the outdoor patio tables! The gal taking my order was such a sweetheart! Super welcoming, and even asked me if there were any modifications I wanted made before preparing my salad. I ordered the chicken teriyaki salad; my first time trying this one! Blackened chicken, seasonal roasted zucchini + squash, spicy broccoli, raw carrots, basil, shredded cabbage, baby spinach, warm wild rice, and sesame teriyaki dressing. Absolutely loved this salad! So much flavor, and I loved the crunchy broccoli and carrots. The salad was large enough to last me lunch the next day, too! Another cool aspect was the filtered water dispenser. I had my water bottle with me, so I was able to easily fill up with some fresh, cold h20!

Chains are expanding their presence in Andersonville and Sweet Green is a solid addition. Overall, it is a quick grab and go spot with extremely easy online ordering. Staff works quickly and there is convenient shelving for to-go orders. There is some seating available for customers who would like to dine-in. In general, my grievances with Sweet Green are in the lack of blue cheese dressing and minimal salad dressing provided with online ordering. This is not necessarily the franchise's fault. To be clear, one side of dressing is never enough for a whole salad. You need at least 2, and 3 would be generous. Overall, I will still order from Sweet Green when I have a craving for a salad because it's the most affordable option in the neighborhood. I enjoy the Caesar and Cobb salads.

I used to live in this neighborhood, and now I'm visiting from out of town. I was sad to see Hamburger Mary's go, and I was prepared to hate this place based on the reviews and just nostalgia. But I had an excellent experience here and my salad was beyond delicious. Where I live now in the South, we don't have salad. I would give anything to have a place like this down there. There was a bit of a wait, but it was not that bad. There was only one girl making salads, and she was outstanding. She was so friendly and warm and seemed to really enjoy her job, which is rare. I got the green goddess salad and added a few items like avocado and egg. The whole thing was less than $13, and it was HUGE. Some of the reviews made it seem like I'd be getting a side salad, but that was certainly not the case. I was going to allow myself to eat all the unhealthy things while I was in town, but I look forward to going back and getting another salad this week.

Very healthy salad and was very yummy

This was my first time picking up a meal at this location, and surprisingly, it was really yummy. My wife kept telling me about the garlic steak plate with a side of wild rice, roasted sweet potatoes, spicy broccoli & tomato with pesto dressing. So I ordered that and the hummus cruch salad with romaine, kale, bread crumbs, cabbage, tomato and cucumber, and chickpeas with hummus, basil and pesto dressing. They were both so yummy I would definitely go pick up something for lunch or dinner again in the future. The meals were prep fast, and the servers were kind and helpful with my question. Great ambiance.

It was my first time at Sweet Green today and I loved the ambiance and how spacious it is inside. I ordered a customized bowl for pick up and the employees are as sweet as the name! Super friendly and warm smiles. I customized the harvest bowl on the app and opted for the following: arugula, shaved parmesan, parmesan crisps, warm quinoa, roasted chicken, sweet potatoes, apples, almonds and two servings of their spicy cashew dressing; This is such a healthy and delicious bowl. Sweet Green needs to expand their locations because this is the type of spot we all need to live a healthy lifestyle, instead of being stuck on greasy fast food. I know I'll be coming back for more because this is the best salad I've ever had. The one female employee with short blonde hair and two male employees that served me today are awesome. I look for great customer service skills and good quality food. This is definitely my new spot! Salad is fireeeeeee!

I was so happy to see Sweet Green opened in the northern suburbs! This was one of my favorite salad/green bowl spots in southern Cali and it didn't disappoint. Sweet Green has delicious salads and warm bowls and offers a variety of greens, veggies, grains, nuts, legumes, cheese, protein and salad dressing options! They have an easy to use app and I ordered the custom bowl, selected all of my favorite veggies, added protein and my dressing of choice! My order was correct, ready on time and the ingredients were all tasty and fresh! Looking forward to my next salad or warm bowl creation!

The salmon came already flaked and was much less than the typical portion. I've gotten this order many times and this is atypical.

When we want a lunch that's easy, yummy & unique we order from sweet greens! They have a whole variety of salads and other foods that are delicious to munch on!

I had never had this before and was blown away by how absolutely tasty it was! I also ordered the Kofte Chargrilled Meatballs which were amazing they came in a large portion but also were SO good bold in flavor with the perfect texture! The dinner menu was quite different from the all-day menu; in particular there were more sides and entrees. I ordered the mixed grill for one ($36) with smoked lamb. The cut was lamb shoulder. Came with five thinly sliced pieces. I saw some reviews complaining that their lamb was too fatty. For lamb shoulder, however, I think the amount of fat was acceptable. But I wish there could be more meat. The meat was served over bejeweled rice. Basically it was an aromatic, turmeric & saffron spiced rice with dates, cashews and a tiny bit barberry (only found two). I wish there could be more barberry and fewer dates, because now it was purely sweet. This, together with the oil in the rice and my fatty lamb, made the dish a bit greasy. On the side I got some grilled long hots, grilled tomatoes, pickled cucumbers and tomatoes, ezme, zoug, tahini, and some freshly baked pita. The pita was soft, moist, chewy and paired well with everything else. I wish they could check if the pita was burnt, though -- one of my pita was burnt! Service was OK. Food came out quickly. It was chill to sit at the patio in a late summer, but they should put more lights. Indeed for half of my meal I had to use the flashlight on my phone for lighting lol.

The entirely plant based menu is varied, whimsical, and intentional, and the staff are just glorious. Once seated our server inquired whether we had had the pleasure of dining at Alice & Friends' before, and upon discovering it was our first visit delightedly offered suggestions for our optimal enjoyment. The outcome: -Laksa: Malaysian noodle soup with a coconut curry broth, served with a variety of vegetables, tofu, and vegan shrimp. What? Yes. So good. -Heavenly curry: magical curry base (coconut milk, coriander, lemongrass, ginger, garlic, turmeric), chickpeas, and lots of hearty veggies including sweet potato, served over perfectly chewy brown rice. -Raw tiramisu: I can't even. Espresso, chocolate, cream, crust. Just get it. The decor (like the restaurant) is based on Alice in Wonderland, with lots of anthropomorphized friends to appreciate. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and the quantity. If ever I move to Chicago just know it's entirely to be closer to Alice and her friends.

Typically, I reject these dietary labels, as what we all eat is food. Simply food. However, I'm also not someone who is all "OH EW, VEGAN STUFF, NO." I will not only never say that, but I will ALWAYS try something new. You should too. ON TO THE FOOD. I had heard talk of their Ramen, so I immediately ordered that. OH MY GAWD. It is so good. It tastes like "regular" ramen, but is 100% vegan. There was a strip of stuff (it was seitan) that looked like the pork belly that typically comes in Tonkatsu ramen. How is this not meat?! It was SO GOOD and had the texture of meat. But it wasn't meat. The broth is silky smoove, savory and . . . my gawd, I drank every single drop. The noodles and veg things that typically come in ramen were there, and just delicious. Writing this review, I am now craving this ramen. I took home an additional order of this ramen for my BF and he became obsessed as well! We had a couple other appetizers that were fantastic too! Some breaded mushroom app that was super tasty. I'm typically not a breaded food fan, but this was light and crispy and really tasty. The interior is spare, uncluttered, full of light and spotlessly clean. The staff is so helpful, friendly, and earnest with answering any questions. No booze, it's BYOB, but they have a lot of Kombuchas to try! A neighborhood gem that I will now keep in rotation when dining out.

Then I had a smash burger - it was good, but I forgot I am not a fan of American cheese which made the burger...I don't know, creamy? The burger itself was good. Hubs and daughter sampled it and loved it. Hubs had the brisket Reuben and loved it. Daughter had the sausage platter and loved the sausages -- 2 kinds -- and potatoes. No room for dessert. When you first walk in, you have to show your ID since this is an adults-only bar establishment. (1) You can then choose to sit in the front bar area, if you want a full menu, but use the bar for ordering service. (2) If you keep walking through the front bar area, you reach the host stand at the top of the ramp. This is where you can put your name in to sit in the main dining room, upstairs, or outside. (3) However, you can also walk through to the left of the host stand to another bar area that has full menus, but bar service for ordering. This is our preferred spot because we can often find a seat and order with the bar. Do note that, during busy times, part of this bar area is managed by the host stand and will be labeled as such. The extensive beer menu is our favorite. We have our favorite food items, so all our decision making revolves around which beer we will get. They always have a bit of everything style-wise, from all over the world, but with a local-brewery focus. Seasonal emphasis is also taken into consideration when they curate the beer list. It is always rotating and we love it! Beers are served in the recommended glasses from the breweries. It's a great drinking experience from start to finish! Our food orders are eternally set: I get the Nueske Ham sandwich with fries and aioli. My husband gets the Reuben sandwich with fries and aioli. This meal is so perfect we'll probably never get anything different, despite the menu being delicious across the board. The wildest we get is sometimes splitting the two sandwiches. No reason to mess with a good thing! Other notable great things about Hopleaf: (1) Kind, knowledgeable, and professional staff. (2) Reasonable prices for high quality and great variety products. (3) Clean Belgian Bar decor/vibe with lots of space for folks to enjoy their time. (4) They are open late and serve food late. Thank you for being an amazing local spot, Hopleaf! We'll see you soon!
