Great place to people watch and enjoy a good salad. So to begin I tried the salad the way it was given to me. The chicken is delicious and I surprisingly liked the wild rice. Aside from that I disliked the flavors. Thankfully I was there so I went inside and asked for the spicy cashew dressing and the spicy jalapeño vinaigrette. The staff are nice and efficient and the patio is always kept clean but last night I ordered the Hummus Crunch salad and within a few bites my stomach began to ache. What a great alternative for fast food! Going to Amazon Fresh and wanting a fast brunch when we "discovered" Sweetgreen. In the Amazon parking lot but down by CVS.Saturday at noon - no problem getting parking. Order at the counter. You can pick from one of their prearranged bowls or you can make on on your own. I opted for the Harvest Bowl ($15.50). I subbed Romain instead of the kale. It includes chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, diced apples, goat cheese, toasted almonds, and warm wild rice. I went with miso dressing on the side. Huge portion. And delish!!! My wife went with the hummus crunch salad. Also able to sub things in and out. Also huge and delish. The counter man who put together the salads was super helpful and very friendly. They have a large patio facing the driveway into the parking lot (so not too close to Ventura Blvd). Listen, if you're looking for something healthy to grab to eat and run, then Sweetgreen is the place for you! They have many different salad options and I opted for the Guacamole Greens (no tortilla chips), which I was told is popular. One thing to note, guacamole actually refers to half an avocado, not actual guacamole in case you were looking for a spoonful of that. The chicken they added was good and the portions are generous. I had them premix my salad and that's why all you see is just green (please see the photo), but all those delicious veggies are in there. They also carried a great grapefruit seltzer which I opted for. All in all, it was a good, quick lunch option. It's located in a strip mall on Ventura Blvd, so parking shouldn't be an issue. This review is regarding the sweet green app. I have sweet green often in person (once/twice a week), and I am extremely upset with the app. I literally spent my entire lunch break(over an hour) trying to place an order on the app. It keeps going through and then I get an email saying I have been refunded! I received 4 back to back emails. It is unclear if my order went through and how many times I was charged. I tried calling the store, but they make you go through a texting customer service who does not even answer my texts! Now I didnt get to have lunch today and I will never order from sweet green again. Its a joke that you cant even get through to them via phone, email, or text. I was in the Encino restaurant today for the first time and it was good and very fresh. It's fast salads, you can order online and take home or eat there like I did today with my husband. He ordered the fish taco bowl and finished and complained about the cardboard bowl being half empty. Mine too. It Had minimal ingredients. I ordered the Cobb and it was fresh but not crisp.
