I was thrilled to find this casual, healthy, moderately priced restaurant option while visiting the city. You order at the counter and choose your ingredients similar to a Subway sandwich style set up. The food is fresh and tasty. I ordered the new miso salmon protein plate. Salmon was a little bit on the dry side, but it came with the sauce which helped. The salmon was served lukewarm. Sides included, rice, pickled onions, cucumbers, and I added green olives, and a slice of bread. The restaurant is very clean and well lit. Staff are friendly. I would come here again to try something different next time. They have lots of options to build your own bowls and salads. Mix and match your choices of wholesome salads, watch the calories that you eat and that is the recipe to stay healthy. The food is awesome. Fresh ingredients, nicely mixed and good dressings. I've tried couple of their seasonal bowls and salads. I had the Spicy Thai salad with spicy cashew dressing and liked it a lot. Portions are very generous for a meal.  The part that needs improving is slow service at this location. At some point there were 8 people behind the counter, three of whom were actually working. Rest were either at cash registers or greeting the customers at pick up area instead of working behind the counter specially since the lines were out the door. When I received my salad is already 1:20pm!! I got spicy Thai salad. All the ingredient are very fresh. And they mix the salad dress very well. I really like their spicy cashew dress. Always see a long line during lunch time at this location and wondered what the hype was. Decided to try it around 3pm on a Sunday knowing there wouldn't be any line! Store is large and clean. I quickly grabbed the menu which was pretty straightforward. Loved how the calories are listed for each item so we can make a wise decision. Decided to try the winter squash salad and it was amazing!! The winter squash pieces were warm which was great. Free self serve tap water available. Nice touch! Whats wrong with the staff at this location?? With your salad you are served mostly attitude and rudeness with that I DONT GIVE A F.. Mentality. Came here on my lunch break and, wanted to try something new so I went with a different salad than I usually order. When I asked to try different dressings they were not even helpful and came with an attitude like I WAS ASKING FOR SOMETHING OUTRAGEOUS. If your charging me close to $12 for cheese, parmesan crisps, kale, and corn at least you can haven the courtesy to be accommodating. I come here a few times for week for lunch. The line looks bad, but it moves very quickly and you'll be in and out within 10 minutes. I prefer ordering in person over the app because the portions are better, they mix the salad for you, and the pickup time for app orders is not always on time. The portions here are quite generous for in store orders. Once I had a piece of cardboard in my app order and I complained to corporate about it, and they quickly refunded it and gave me a $30 credit, so while the initial experience was disappointing, I was satisfied with how they handled it. read more

I am a huge fan of Sweetgreen and my salad from this location last night did not disappoint! I tried the spicy cashew chicken salad for the first time. I ordered on the sweetgreen app and this salad was an "app only" option. I did not realize that they had more options on the app, but now I will definitely be ordering from the app more often! The salad was amazing. I loved the dressing and all the flavors together worked perfectly. The only reason that it is not a 5 star review, is because my salad was ready when I got there, even though they said that it wasn't. They must have read the name wrong or something so I was a little annoyed that it was sitting there, and they told me to wait even though it was actually ready. I order here all the time when I come into the city for work. They recently just changed their bowls so the plastic cover goes inwards instead of being flat/outwards. They charge you 100% the price with 50% the food. Not coming here again. I'll just have to stick to chipotle, at least you know what you're getting there. Be prepared to pay $20 for about a cup and a half of salad. Prior to COVID, when you got delivery from this place, the salad bowl was stuffed to the top. came here before my broadway show. the store was easy to miss as they are doing construction at this time. the place was pretty empty but the staff was SUPER loud and obnoxious - i believe some staff members were off or they were coming on, i dont know, but i could not eat in peace because they were yelling across the room from each other (and this is with my headphones on). fortunately, there was no wait, the girl that took care of me was quick and efficient (not part of the rowdy crew), and the food wasn't bad (i got the curry chicken salad). I love love love sweetgreen. It's literally one of my favorite salad places in NYC. It's easy, quick, and healthy. You make a line where you then see all the food in front of you and create you own salad. I always get the wild rice with shredded chicken and avocado and egg and the spicy sunflower seeds. They do have online ordering for those in a rush, although the line moves pretty quickly. I order the kale Caesar with extra lime and medium dressing.
