Great fish after the slice for salad

This is excellent quality place for the organic salads sandwiches I can see the ingredients really fresh avocado chopped tomatoes as they make salads and sandwiches with the three sandwiches today with some coffee and fresh orange juice. And this is a Polish American in McLean since 1989 and the greetings to the manager who does excellent job and all the team hard working Latino ladies working there everyday very proud of the job means your company must take care of the employees if they always positive attitude highly appreciate you are a great attribute to Mclean community I don't know for the last 3 4 years.

This was my first visit at Sweet Leaf, and it didn't disappoint. I got the Butternut Squash and Apple salad, and it was really delicious. Service was quick, too. My only issue was the parking. It's extremely small and tight. This place was busy, so it was tough getting in and out.

Sweetleaf Cafe is a local fast casual restaurant that serves a great selection of salad bowls, smoothies, and sandwiches. All are made with fresh ingredients. Compared to other national chains, I actually think Sweetleaf's salad bowls are better. They are mixed with a nice combination of ingredients. For example, I like the flavor of Citrus Sesame Chicken Bowl that combines chicken and orange slices to provide some sweetness to the salad. I also like the sandwiches, such as So Cali Club which is made with avocado, bacon, turkey breast and hard-boiled egg. Its McLean store offers outdoor seating.

I used to come here all the time in high school, but lots of things have changed since then~ When I came back to the area after school I had mixed feelings about the new menu~ some of my old favorites were no longer there and I know they changed the type of wrap they use~~~ In addition the prices have slightly increased (I noticed because I used to get a smoothie almost weekly back in the day!) The smoothie I got for this visit was a little disappointing :( the person who made it put fewer strawberries in than the usual, and mango is no longer an option! I tried to get her attention to see if she could add some more, but she didn't even turn around... (the amount she put was equivalent to what she put in my friend's smoothie which had 2 other ingredients... I thought since my only topping was strawberries, she could put a bit more than what she used for my friend) The sandwich I got was okay, but a little dry. My friend did enjoy her grain bowl tho! Overall the atmosphere is still cute but was disappointed because I knew how great it used to be!

Food delivery takes too long. I am not sure I will continue to use their online ordering service, it proves to be unreliable.

Morning Glory was DELICIOUS! The fresh squeezed OJ was delish too!

So I checked out this spot based on other reviews and it did not disappoint! Now, you just might pass this place if you're unfamiliar with the area - well, I did lol But, once you get here, it's a plethora of fresh food options! The atmosphere is kind of an open dive kind of place that is very clean. The fresh food for your devouring, is in an assembly line type of case (not cheesy though) for you to choose from. All of the food looked fresh, healthy and extremely appealing. I was focused on breakfast. I just wanted a basic bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel....well, what I got was a Morning Glory and what glory it was! Although it seems to be a simple breakfast sandwich, I could taste the freshness of the ingredients! Hmmmm I will definitely be back to indulge in those fresh lunch items!

Beef egg & cheese sandwich - my husband got this one and it's a nice breakfast sandwich it has really nice spices in it which make it different from other breakfast sandwich places. Kafta sandwich - this was perfect for lunch the flavors are really amazing. The baked desserts were hit or miss I'll come back to try some more. I wasn't the biggest fan of the flour used. It was pretty busy on the weekend, but we still managed to find parking and a table. People work on their laptops there so the turn over is slower. The inside is a bit cramped, I did have a little anxiety because there's really no space between you and the person next to you and there's just a small path to walk around. Parking is around back of the building, it has signs up that it's parking for that building only. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

I like the new menu and see a lot of things that I would enjoy. - Prosciutto Fig Farm Bread - I really liked this. Two long slices of bread sliced into pieces with a slice of prosciutto over mascarpone cheese and balsamic glaze. The bread was soft which I liked. - Hot Crab & Artichoke Dip - nice crab and artichoke taste with plenty of grilled ciabetta bread. - Butternut Squash & Mascarpone Ravioli with sage brown butter - really nice if you like butternut squash, slightly sweet. It wasn't the best I have had but it was very good. - Meatloaf - it came with mashed potatoes and carrots and looked like a big, hearty portion Llie was our server. She was truly outstanding - the best we have had at Founding Fathers! She had a sweet smile, very positive, warm, helpful, and quick to respond to the myriad of requests for ice, lemons, salt and pepper, another appetizer. For my birthday, she brought a donut with whipped cream with Happy Birthday stenciled in confectioner sugar on a wooden cutting board. Very nice! Also, I appreciated the hostess today who needed to get more validation parking tickets. I was seated by someone else, and the hostess walked to the very back of the restaurant to find me and give me the two that I had requested. The parking garage has gotten more confusing since I was there last. There are two Founding Fathers parking spaces to the immediate left when you enter with the brown strip on the floor. Maybe there is more, but those are the two I noticed. The rest seem to be reserved with a yellow strip for other companies. I had to go up to the 2nd floor to find a space. You don't take a ticket when you enter. There was a QR code to scan and enter your license plate number by the 2nd floor elevator, but I kept pressing Continue even outside the garage and could not get the webpage to take my license or have an indication of it knew about my car. I was there about 2.5 hours, and the fee at the box when I exited was close to $15 but with the Founding Father's 2 hour validation, it was more like $5.

The appetizer sampler is a great way to start the meal, the lamb chops were cooked perfectly, and the Adana kabab was flavorful and well seasoned. My only disappointment came at the end of the meal. We were planning to order dessert, but the kitchen had already closed. It would have been nice if our server had stopped by a few minutes earlier to let us know the kitchen was about to close and ask if we wanted to order anything else. That small bit of communication would have made the experience even better. Overall, this is still a great restaurant with delicious food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Just keep in mind that the kitchen may close earlier than you expect, so if you're thinking about dessert or another course, order it before the kitchen shuts down.

My daughter loves the chocolate croissants, cookies and flourless brownies, as I do the standard croissant. My review was more out of disappointment as I was excited to and looking forward to joining the club. And I was frustrated at my inability to join the club. What makes my updated review 4 stars. We do love the pastry items we get, when I ever order a pastry they always grab them from the fresh pastries from the rack and not the ones on display to give the customer the best experience. As for the latte, as I saw in other reviews and have noticed myself, and often in the times I have went, notice new employees on a few times. The person who helped me and made my lattes was very polite and helpful, she may be new to lattes, practice makes perfect. I use to drink lattes almost daily and have not had one in a few years and was super excited to have a latte again. Also walking in I noticed they remodeled and change the configuration of the counter to allow for a nice indoor seating area. Lastly I have heard of My Dads Chips and had wanted to find a place that had them. I have bought these chips here and these are now my family's favorite chips and we order them by the box from My Dads Chips. It's great to see restaurants using and supporting local businesses which is another reason I like coming to Fresh Baguette. I look forward to my next time coming here. I do recommend this place. -------- Went in today and was going to get lattes so thought I would join the club. Was happy to see first month free. I tried for over 30 minute. To join using two payment methods and app attempts were denied. I mentioned to employee I had been trying to join the club but all morning been getting a whoops subscription purchase failed on two cards. She said she would give me the discount and ordered an ice latte and hot latte. The speed the lattes were made I found surprising. As a person who drinks a lot of lattes I know it's a process that takes 1-2 min per latte. She had both done in 2 min. I didn't see if she used a milk frother or not. When o left I opened my latte and it had something o would not consider froth, it had large bubbles and had no smoothness. I asked for both lattes to have vanilla. She only did the iced with vanilla. The Iced latte, being in a clear container you could see the milk on the bottom it came up about half way. It was not mixed and all you could taste was the milk with a hint of vanilla. I would compare the hot latte to one that you can make in an office coffee machine that has packets. It was very weak. Your pastries are good but my god I am glad that I didn't join the club even if the first month is free. On top of that even though she said she would give me the discount, she charged me full price. I would have complained but I have a lot of fatigue as I have stage iv cancer and just completed 39 radiation sessions. Will be back for pasties and desserts, but your coffee products with the experience I had today was vending machine quality.
