This is my cheeseburger without any bread. I'm not too fancy on eating bread, due to nutritional reasons.

I had one double cheeseburger some fries, and TEEZERS. It was pretty good, and I will definitely recommend this restaurant to some of my friends because it has a different taste, I didn't come in contact with any of the employees because I ordered DoorDash. Food is decent for the price.

The Galley Boy - First one and actually enjoyed it. Something sweet which was weird but would get again if I was by a Swensons again.

Just driving through and had always heard about the regional delicacy that is Swensons, so we had to stop! First off, loved the old school vibes and headlights ordering system....Plus I always love drive in spots in general. The guys working hustled around car to car and were pleasant. The sides were your normal fried things, not bad but not amazing. The potato teezers were really good but would've loved more spice. Chicken nugs were meh. Reading online, people really love the bologna sandwich so had to try that and the galley boy burger of course. The bologna sandwich was pretty tasty, but wasn't my favorite thing. The burger though, I really enjoyed and would absolutely get again. Something sweet about it (sauce? Bun? Meat?), but otherwise fresh and enjoyed the 2 sauces on it. I got a California (grape) drink to wash it all down! Glad I finally tried this regional institution and would go back if ever I'm around one again! Next time I'll need to get a shake though...

My friend decided to be a clown and ask for a milkshake with everything mixed together to see if it was possible. Lucas was incredibly friendly and actually felt like a friend. He then asked Andrew to make it and they both obliged. The milkshake was not completely awful. The rest of the food however, was spectacular. I have genuinely never gotten better service in my life.

This place is pretty good. Right portion sizes. The hamburgers were good, the shrimp was a good size and the fried bologna sandwich was nice and thick. It's not a sit down place so don't let the internet fool you. You order from your car and you can eat in your car.

I'm from the Akron area originally so whenever I went back to visit family, a stop at Swensons was always a must! I'm ecstatic that I can now get my galley boy fix right here in Columbus--THANK YOU! My go to order: - Galley Boy, add pickles and onion - Onion rings, broken and Cajun style - California

I'm very glad to live close to Swensons because first and foremost, their sodas are superior to any other fast food fountain soda. If you know what I mean, you get it Service here is always faster than I'd expect, with employees whose politeness can only be rivaled by chick fil a. The food is consistently really good. I'd strongly recommend the potato teezers, which are like a cheesy tater tot with jalapeño and deep fried. Delicious but not spicy, even my kids like them. I alternate between a chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger, neither have ever disappointed. And since I was really anxious the first time I visited, if you're unaware of how ordering here works it's a lot like sonic. There's no drive thru, you park and they come to the car. Headlights on indicate you need help, off means you've been helped and are waiting on your food or are eating. They always walk you through topping options and flavors of sodas/milkshakes if you can't see the menu. You can pay with cash or card, and I noticed their card reader has a mobile pay symbol on it so I'm sure that's an option too. I always tip the full 20% because I heard they're classified as servers and they really are doing the same amount of work but sometimes in really crappy weather.

My usual order is the Reuben on rye with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, and Russian dressing. It's always my go-to and never disappoints. I also recently tried the State & Main on rye with corned beef, pastrami, and coleslaw, which was another solid choice. I've heard great things about the Paesano on an Italian sub bun with ham, hot capicola, pepperoni, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers, and Italian dressing (can be served hot or cold). A friend's favorite is the Figaboudit on grilled ciabatta with prosciutto, fig jam, goat cheese, and arugula. If you go, don't skip the homemade chips with the house-made sour cream and onion dip--it's easily my favorite thing on the menu and worth ordering as a side or appetizer.

I stopped by, it was early in morning, the place was empty, I saw couple of deliveries people picking up their food, the staffs was friendly, I read over the menu, I actually forgot what I ordered, because this review is way past due, maybe 3 weeks past due. But I do remember is one of them combo But first thing first, the two ladies behind the counter is really nice and friendly, I love dealing with an adult instead of those younger generation that don't care for their customers, just show up for their paycheck, if you know what I mean. Lady that serving me asked if I need some suggestion or help for recommendations, very nice and friendly. I ordered (once again I can't remember the name). The sandwich itself is very good, came with side of fruit as you can see on my photo, like I mentioned before, is a good healthy lunch, not too big of the portion. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because couple of my grapes gone bad, they should have checked and take them out before serving to the customer. Because they claim they make the orders when it comes in, so the kitchen should have spot it Overall, definitely recommend and will go back

I had just come from PT and was hungry. I did a Yelp search and this is the 1st Pl., Yelp directed…read moreme too, so I gave it a try. I'm glad I did I was probably greeted by the hostess. Whom placed me at a very nice table. I looked over the menu, which had a little something for everybody. To be honest I liked that, plus there wasnt an over abundance of items... it was that goldilocks moment... just right. I decided to try the grape leaves. I asked if they had made them themselves and they did -which is what pushed me in the direction. You get two very stuffed grape leaves --that are definitely made in house. I was not really a fan of the lemon sauce that they use. I didnt dislike it, I felt it was a tad too thick and not enough lemon. However, I seemed to eat all of it, which is something I dont do at most places, so despite it needing more lemon I must of liked it more than I initially realized. As far as ambience, it still has the footprint of the former sushi restaurant. the bar is completely unchanged. however, they have these lovely little lilac flowers or Japanese cherry flowers hanging from trellises throughout the entire back dining room. makes it look lovely. This transforms it into its own identity. i liked it. They had soft music playing. I wasn't sure if it was Mediterranean or Spanish, but I enjoyed it. I liked my time there The one thing that needs mentioned is the pricing of the salad proteins. This is confusing. I was going to order a salad but the menu had it listed the price of a salad. Them below protiens. The price listed on menu is not in addition to salad. Its the final price of the salad. I did not realize that and thus didnt order the salad. I also didn't like being quoted 10.80 for my total and then having it changed because I used American Express to 11 something. Personally, I feel businesses should make it a little easier for their customer in the cost of doing business should be at the restaurants expense in that situation. I probably would've tipped more had they not popped up my price Tbo Would I come back? absolutely. However, I will bring cash the next time so my bill doesnt go up. Lol.

The salmon was cooked just right, and the beef was tender and juicy. The salad itself was fresh and flavorful, not an afterthought. The owner, Elena, came out to chat with us at the end of our meal, which was a nice touch and says a lot about the place. She also mentioned their Mother's Day special, 10% off your total bill plus a free dessert for Mom. It's a great balance of fresh and filling, which isn't always easy to find. It's been a minute since I've been here, and honestly, I forgot how good it is. I went all in with the Chicken Pot Pie Soup, Mama's Meatball sandwich with peppers, and a bag of Zapp's Hot Pepper chips--because moderation is for people who don't love flavor. The Chicken Pot Pie Soup? Well, let's just say it leaned more "cream of chicken" than "pot pie." The crusty topping... I'm not sure what sorcery that was, but it had the texture of something between a crouton and a pulverized Ritz cracker that lost its way. Not bad, just... confusing. cracker The Mama's Meatball, though, stole the show. Delicious, saucy, and stacked like it's proud of itself. The peppers gave it just the right kick. And Zapp's chips?
