Before the job, they are very responsive to sell you. When they started the job there was daily followup on many things that required daily involvement. For every little thing we had to call and message many times until we get a response. I think they overwhelm themselves with many jobs but can't deliver properly. Few weeks after the installation, the artificial turf became lose, we contacted them and they send back the technician to fix it after few days. Few months later, 2) I have 3 tiles at the step became lose, 2) I have weed growing between the tile and artificial turf and now 3) I have tiles moving. It has been 2 months since we contacted them 3 or 4 times, every time we call, they sound surprised no one visited yet and they say we ll send someone but no one showed yet. I worked with Chris and Jose and I can't emphasize enough how wonderful their customer service and professionalism has been. From start to end, they both were very thorough and attentive to detail. We had a great experience with System Pavers, from the design (Jon) to Tony and his crew that did all the work. They were upfront land realistic about the process and worked non stop for 4 days. We were blown away by the showroom that gave us more options than we ever needed. The Lady at the desk gave us the card of the designer/engineer working in our area and we set up an appointment. From there it was picking out a set of colors a design and off we went. We are extremely pleased with the product, the professionalism of the employees and the speediness with which it was completed. Live in Moreno Valley. In May 2019 got estimate for Pavers on side of my Home. The original men that worked on pavers didn't level the pavers so water would puddle there. I believe they were fired. Anyway. I called Wade and he took care of one end that was leveled. There is still a part that water puddles. Pavers also get dull. I requested a price to Seal the pavers, which I should done in beginning. The price is outrageous. Being a previous customer. I get compliments. I Won't be recommending System Pavers. read more

He was friendly, knowledgeable, and always made himself available. He was also reasonable and fair with quotes and the design process, and I appreciated the amount of time he spent with us with what could be considered a pretty small project. If you are lucky to have him assigned as your consultant, you're in good hands. Oscar was our PM and he was also wonderful. He was always there to make sure what you wanted was what you got, even if it meant dedicating a bit more time to the project. Jeff was great at sales; however, Cory was a horrible project manner. Didn't listen to feedback and pretty much blamed the customer. $11k for this Update 6/21. Spoke with construction manager and he was respectful and listened to me. Bottom line is read the contract. Unfortunately I was mislead and communication during construction lacked. If you have the ability to be present you should and don't verbally accept what the sales team states. Read the contract before you electronically sign. read more

I felt like he helped me shape the vision I was going for and he called me 2 days after our initial meeting to discuss it more. That really sold me on everything! We were referred to System Pavers by one of our neighbors, as this was one of the first projects we wanted to take care of right away and we knew that we wanted pavers and a custom fire pit. Note: They pay a refferal fee, but please make sure you have all of it in writing and give credit where it is due. Scott walked us through the process and helped with the layout/look. Cory took over after that and worked with me on some last minute changes. The crew they sent were friendly and efficient and I couldn't believe how fast they were. After they finished, we had some issues with the size of the fire pan, which Cory took care of right away. We later got a custom glass cover made and that is when I realized that the inside of the pit was off by about 1/2 inch. It wasn't that noticeable, but it did bother me (my OCD kept eyes reminding me how off aligned it was everytime I looked at it). Almost 6 months later... I contacted Scott to see if System Pavers would be interested in providing the food for our HOA Holiday Party, so I decided to also give Cory a call to look at the fire pit and see if it is something that they could fix. Cory got our fire pit straight and Scott got them to cater our event eventhough he was getting ready to leave for hip surgery during the time of our event. Scott, Cory, and Eric - who assisted with our event while Scott was on leave, have all been a pleasure to work with. I am so pleased with our backyard and even happier that they were able to feed our community! Thank you guys so much! The 5 stars are for Cory's endless efforts to continual make me happy. I was going to tear out all the concrete and put in pavers in my backyard. I put down a deposit and started the long process of getting HOA approval. During this time I experienced a major leak in my house. The repair to my home is costing approx $20,000. At this point, I could no longer afford to put in pavers in my yard. I called to cancel. They will not return my deposit. NO WORK HAS BEEN DONE, AND NO MATERIALS WERE ORDERED. They told me no materials are ordered for the job until HOA approval is received. Do not do business with this company. They would rather steal your deposit than keep a potential customer. I was excited about having them pave my backyard, I simply could not afford to do it after spending 20k to repair water damage to my home. read more

I have been calling for about a month trying to get some additional work done and have had no success getting a response in spite of promises to have someone get in touch with me. System Pavers just finished our deck in Crestline, CA and it looks beautiful! They did a great job on the plans, San Bernadino County permits, and County inspections. The winter rainy and snowy weather didn't make it easy either but they never complained and got the job done. The customer service from Roger, Jackie, Thomas, Janel, Bobby, and Wade was Excellent! I have to add Thomas didn't give up on us when we told him about our budget. He was able to figure out a way to design our beautiful deck within our budget. Somewhere around ten years ago, we contracted with system pavers to install pavers around our pool area. The final product was just wonderful, and really enhanced the beauty of our back yard area. But, as happens, time took its tole on the bricks. Some areas sinking three inches or more creating not only a terrible look, but a trip and fall hazard. Our yard became an eyesore. We called System Pavers and was referred to a "project manager" to evaluate the situation. We'll call him Tony,... Tony made the trip to our home, and looked at the patio, saying he'd get "his boss" to come look at the problem. Meanwhile, MONTHS tick by, and finally we get a call regarding out problem. First, we were informed that our job was no longer covered by any warranty. We understood this, and were only looking for repairs to be done. After telling us via phone, about the things that were wrong (which we knew), and what had to be done (which we knew), Tony finally got around to dropping the bomb,..... the price. When done initially, we paid 17,000.00+ dollars for the job, labor material included. The price they gave to repair the sunken bricks was $18,000.00. Over a thousand more than it cost to do the job complete from the start.This was pretty much labor only. The material still lay unevenly all around our pool. Obviously, Tony didn't want the job. As luck would have it, I chanced upon a pickup truck at the supermarket with sign on it announcing the operator did paver work. I contacted them, they looked at our job and announced their price for the work,...... 24,.......hundred dollars. Needless to say, I'm quite dissatisfied with System Pavers, and have a new found affection for our NEW paving company. read more

We got a quote for work on our home from Jonathon a design consultant. We gave them a 10% advance payment. We never received a copy of contract or even an advance payment agreement. All the sales person did was to bring out a few samples from what he showed us. When he did come out we did not like the one as the color in person was a lot different than photos. We picked 2 other possible colors and asked for an artist rendering with stone and our house colors. We never received, but we were sent on a wild goose chase to look at a few jobs near bye. They were in a gated community. We put job on hold and were told our deposit was not refundable. Never got any paperwork or contract to sign. We just cancelled job and no work, no permits, no materials set aside for job or date scheduled but they have stated $ 3066.00 we will not get back. Salesman would not even bring other samples out to us, and said we would have to go to Santa Ana to see them. No call from Management nor contact. Nothing in writing sent to us as we were told he would write it up when materials were selected. I am left having to sue in small claims and filing a compliant with contractor board. This is my updated review for System Pavers. I want to point out that they are an outstanding company overall, they stood by their warranty. That was one of the main reasons i chose them, the other is the quality they provide in their craftsmanship. I had a problem with the quality, and the customer service from the PM they initially assigned. They then assigned Tony Garcia to this issue we had, and he basically brought in his crew and knocked it out in about a day.. I am very pleased with the work Tony's crew did. It just goes to show not every company is perfect, but at least they have to fix their mistakes. read more

We started our backyard pavement project with System pavers just before COVID-19 happened, the project crew had to pause the work because of the safety precautions in place. Once the project resumed, company was very professional making sure all safety measures were adhered to, construction crew was wearing masks, even maintaining social distancing while working. We worked with Project manager, Javier Rodriguez, he is extremely professional and friendly at same time. He visited the job site every day to make sure our project was not only on track but also that the crew was doing top notch job. We even added scope of the project seeing how professionally it was handled. Over all we are very satisfied with the work that System Pavers did for us. The result are no short of excellent. System Pavers is a joke!! Made an appointment with them to come and give us a quote to do pavers on our backyard! Typical sales person spent most of his time talking up the company, mentioning how they are the best in the business, and showing us videos on how amazing the work they do is. This is not my first rodeo, and the longer he went without him mentioning anything about price confirmed to me what was about to happen. After 2 hrs of wasted time, he finally told me that it was going to cost $30,000 to do this little backyard of around 500 sqft. He lied about promotions that are supposedly going on and that he had already applied those savings to get me to that price. When I told him that this was ridiculous he said there might be some discounts we can do to get you to $24,000. All of a sudden he found $6,000 in discounts??? Shady tactics!!! Typical sales BS where they drown out the process for a long time and then surprise you at the end. He asked from the beginning if I had spoken to any other companies or had gotten quotes prior to System Pavers. I said no, because I wanted to see if they were going to take advantage of me. Sure enough they tried!! I'm sure they do good work, but so do many other Licensed Professionals for less than half the cost of System Pavers. Don't waste your time and money on a company that conducts themselves in this manner. Response to Cali D (business employee) Please don't respond with the assumption that the pricing was frustrating. System Pavers upgraded my small back/side yard areas. They removed old concrete patio and dirt/weeds, and installed drainage, drip plumbing, pavers and some artificial turf. All aspects, from sales process thru construction were done in a professional and quality manner that instilled confidence, and communication was excellent throughout. Jose M, project manager, was very open, helpful, knowledgable and patient in explaining every aspect. Overall, competent and a pleasure to work with. He regularly inspected and ensured all details of the construction were of optimal quality, and walked me through it. The installation crew worked hard, fast and seemed very efficient. They kept the site as clean and organized as possible. System Pavers is not inexpensive, but with it comes the benefit of using a large, reputable company. I am extremely disappointed and upset with the shotty work that was done in my driveway by System Pavers. After they finished not shortly we're there many spots on my driveway due to their vibrating motor on the roller. SP did a horrible job. There was a day when they screwed up on the schedule being a no show which equals no good and unreliable! Because of this I lost a day's pay. It was so upsetting. They may quote a fair, cheap price but do not expect them to honor it. Find a reputable company because their workmanship equates to garbage. I am still in the process of trying to resolve the mess and damage they created on my property by reaching out to above and beyond including some gal Jennifer Ressler who is supposed to be a VP or Regional Mgr of some sort. My emails and calls by them have not been returned. I am about ready to report them to the BBB. Just do your research well prior to committing to a company.
