The gentleman that helped me was extremely nice and soft-spoken. I feel bad for writing this review but my fairly new tire had a nail in it. When I woke up last Saturday, my tire was completely flat. The rear driver tire. Got it up to PSI to drive (very slowly) to get here. It was about a painful 10 minute drive from where I live. He took the nail out and patched it - even checked the tire pressure for the other tires. Cool. For $15 I was good to go. A week later my tire pressure was low. I took it to the usual place (D&J Tires.. where I am right now) so they can look at it. The patch that was done was leaking. He did not do a thorough job. Several family members have been to this shop with anything from an engine replacement, oil change, CV axle replacement. Including myself, recently my Prius blew a head gasket. I actually had one shop tell me they didn't want to do the job. Took it to T&T and they took it right in without issues, in fact explained to me that he just finished up on a Lexus CT200h with the exact same issue. I think my Prius gets better mileage now than when I brought it to him. Because of that, he is now replacing the transmission on my Explorer. No issues taking it in, no haggling, just dove in and said "I got you boss". Great shop, great work, very knowledgeable as well. read more

Fast and easy oil change. $30. Dont go looking for good customer service or anything. You wont get that here. I walked in, told the guy I needed an oil change, he asked for the keys. I gave it to him and he took the car in. All in the first 5 mins. I had to ask 2 different people what the price of the oil change was before someone could answer me. The waiting room isndirty, dusty, and there were 4 chairs total in the lobby, in which 2 of those chairs had spider webs under it. There were areas that had more webs then others. Trash left around randomly. I probably wont be coming here again. They need to work on customer service as well as making the place look at least presentable. read more

I bought a used Suburu 4wd. However, the previous owner had taken out the 4wd to save on gas. When I went to a few other shops to estimate how much it would cost to make it 4wd again, I was quoted around $1600. I went to T&T and they quoted me $500. I took my car in, and they found out they had to buy 2 additional parts, making the grand total $750 including labor already. After we agreed to go on with the repair, everything was done in one day. Who said this is a 4-5 star place? I walked-in. It had two chairs for customers but already taken. Receptionist did not welcome, barely spoke English and declined to do any 'check-in'. Without telling me the scope of the services and the price, they took my car key to change engine oil. When I asked the price they declined to give me quote saying they don't know. I had to immediately take my car back and move to the next door shop, where the services are normal as expected. Yes they are fast. Fast enough not to tell necessary things. read more

My 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe was ready for the 30K miles service. I called the local Hyundai dealer to check on the price. I was told it would be "around" $560. I went into T&T Auto Care and was quoted a price about 1/3 that of the dealers. I had the service performed by T&T and it was exactly the same as the dealer would have performed. The only difference I can see is that the dealer includes a free car wash. I also had the oil change/tire rotation on my 2007 Saturn Aura. Very good service on both occasions. So I came here and 2nd time and want to reduce the number of stars I previously gave this place based on their lack of professionalism. When you enter the store they don't greet you or ask you "how can I help you?". Instead they don't do anything, nor do they look at you. Not sure how everyone else got the prices they did on their oil change, but I ended up paying $26.50 for mine which is a little pricey if you ask me. I was already there though so I coughed up the money and sat down to wait. I was originally going to give them 3 stars because of the price and the run downness of the waiting area, BUT they get one star back for the super short time it took to get the oil change. I was expecting to wait half an hour to a hour at least, but lo and behold my car was done and ready in 20 minutes. Not sure I'll be back because of the price, but if you're in a hurry, this would be the place to go. read more

Stumbled here after terrible service at Midas next door. Been back twice, just for oil changes, but I highly recommend this place. On both occasions, I walked right in off the street for an oil change and was on my way in less than 15 minutes. No appointment, no hassle. Best price I can find in San Jose too, ($15-$18 total for oil change for my 2009 Hyundai Sonata) The staff is very friendly and courteous. Waiting room has comfy couches and A/C so it stays nice and cool. I have a feeling I will be bringing all my vehicles here for service. read more

Took my honda in for an oil change and it was quick! Walked in and ask them the price - quoted me base on engine size. Gave them my keys and was done in 12mins! I took off one star b/c the waiting area is a bit small, But was didn't have to wait long any ways. Will be back here the next time my oil light turns on! read more

Found them on yelp. Big mistake. Over $2000 in repairs and had to have the brakes redone. Was leaving town and needed to have the work done. They promised they would complete on time. They did meet the timetable by not doing everything promised and leaving me with bad brakes. Proceed at own risk. read more

Called for a quote on shock/strut installation on my car and was quoted $200 with other quotes coming in at $600, went in the next day at 10:00 and reminded him of our conversation, he asked for the keys and I handed them over. That was all in his mind but I told him I need a service order, he hands me a blank service order and I fill everything out including service to be done and cost quoted. Picked up at 4:00, no problem for me because I'm 5 minutes away, work appears solid, wife at front desk is pleasant in their Vietnamese way and her eyes perk up with cash payment , they would get my business again. read more

I looked through yelp to find a good place to get my oil changed and my brake pads changed also. Looking at some places here i saw some with deals like 10% off etc etc etc. Then I saw the review on this page talking about a brake and oil change deal going on which is what i needed. So i went ahead and called them this afternoon to ask if i could come in later (3:40pm). They said it was ok. Located on Monterey toward Branham, but shortly after Senter Road on the right. They're facing the road with a big business sign so you can't miss it. They had a banner outside that said get your brake pads changed and get a free oil change for the future. I went into their spacious waiting area. Furnished with chairs and sofas. There were magazines and a t.v. There was a family waiting for their car to finish along with a guy waiting with his truck to be checked. They were all helped in a timely manner. It was also a short wait till I was helped. I brought in my own brake pads to save on some money since I figured otherwise they would put semi-metallics in my car but I wanted ceramic. My car was brought in right away and less than an hour later all my work was done. Oil&Filter change: $21.50 (first quoted $17 on the phone but the $3.50 is nothing to complain about when I've spent $40 @ Speedee before) Labor for brake pad change: $65.00 $86.50 total from T&T Auto on my 2004 Toyota Solara $35 for my ceramic brake pads from Kragen's Spent $122 today. I was not happy to my experience due to price changes for my brakes. The quotes he gave me at first was $380, then when I told them that other shops could do better he said. I called back later and he totally forgot the price. He ha aid it is around $380 to $480. I was like wtf?! I told him he quoted me $380. Then he said he will do it for $350 total. I said I will pay $350. 5 minutes later he said its $350 plus tax, I was like what?! You said it was only going to be $350 total. He said it is only going to be less than 10%. I was like it is going to be $380 again. He said no. So when I payed for the car it was about $374.00. I can't trust a place if they're always changing prices every 5 minutes. read more

I went to another shop to get my oil changed, and they noticed that one of my headlights was out. They played with the connection a bit and it would turn on and off randomly. Unfortunately, they didn't have the correct bulb to replace my headlight, so I went to T&T Auto Care instead since it was around the area. The guy tried to charge me $45 to change out the bulb. I talked him down to $30 and he agreed to do it after his lunch was over. After his lunch, he took about 24 seconds and said it was done. He got an easy $30 out of it. Sadly, a day or 2 later, my light bulb went out again. Frustrated, I went to O'Reilly's, bought a bulb for $12, went on YouTube, and figured out how to fix it myself instead of going to another mechanic. Piece of cake, and now that I know how simple it is, I feel like an idiot to have paid so much for such pathetic work and I'll never go to an auto-shop to fix my headlights again. I have never had a better experience conducting business with an auto repair shop. They beat all the other auto repair quotes and saved me $230.00. My repair was completed within an hour as promised. If I could give them 0 stars I would for the fact that they are crooks and the reason why mechanics get a bad rap. STAY AWAY! Since I am giving a bad review I feel obligated to give a detailed reason and it is my pleasure to do so. First off my car had a CEL (check engine light) on a while back I thought I took care of. I usually take care of my maintenance and repair needs. So the car had a tune up (oil change, plugs, wires, cap rotor) and was running great. My buddy who usually helps also thought the catalytic converter should be changed soon. So I soon later replaced that also. Now this week my CEL pops up again. I checked with my own scanner (most places do it for free) and the same codes popped up. P0300 P0303 P0304. those are misfire codes, random, cyl 3 and 4. So being that I had done that recent maintenance I was frustrated and decide to go to a shop. I first go to K&A in the same plaza he quotes $40 to do a diagnostic (which is not just scan the code its plug car up and check thoroughly) but says it will be a couple hours since there were customers ahead. Impatiently this is when I decide to go to T&T auto care (BIG MISTAKE). Same plaza, didn't look busy. So I ask for the same, a full diagnostic. he quotes me $65! but can do it now and takes 15 min. Trusting him (second mistake), I just want answers so we proceed. FYI he was one of the two Asain fellows at front desk, The taller one with a mustache and shorter hair cut. He pops my hood, turns on car, reads the CEL with a scanner (again free at most places), confirms the codes I had already told him, revs the car a few times in each gear with the brake on to make the engine turnover a little, gets out looks around the engine bay. This whole process was about 3 minutes while I'm watching everything and he NEVER hooks up any computer nor reads the timing, NOTHING. He then says I have bad motor mounts, motor tilts too much causing the misfires and he could replace for $600. WHAT! I say no way! He says I can do it for $550 now. Then and there I say " that's it" "are you sure" "the light will go away". He says yes he sees this all the time. So I tell him Ill need to go do some research first. I ask again "so what does this less than 5 min cost" since he plugged into nothing! no diagnostic. He says $65 because its taken him years of experience and education to know these things. I'm thinking WOW but I'm a calm fair person so I just pay the $65 (for knowledge) and leave. What a joke. Tired of that plaza I want confirmation!!! So I head to Millennium auto on Story rd. They charge me $40 for a FULL DIAGNOSTIC like expected. They found my spark plugs were bad (which surprised me). Spark plugs swapped out. car runs great. End of story! Plugs not no $600 motor mounts. T&T AUTO CARE = CROOKS I should have known when you see half of the shop is also a cell phone retailer. WTH Millennium auto on Story rd = good straight forward business read more

I really like this place. I have a 2008 Lexus ES350. After several years of spending close to $ 180 for each oil/air filter change I was no longer could afford these high prices. I finally gave up going to the dealership and decided to find a place could do for much cheaper and good quality. I asked around and a good friend recommended me to T&T Auto Care. When I called, they told me I could stop by anytime without reservation. When I arrived for my oil change and tune, they were working on my care within 10 minutes. When they pulled out the oil filter and air filter, they told me that the dealership I had been going were using cheaper brand filters and not as good as the ones they were using.
