I was contemplating whether I should write this review. I am a fan of red rock property and this review is for T-bones service, Not the food. The food here is excellent and inline with the rest of high end steak houses in Vegas. My disappointment comes from the service we recieved from one of the female bartenders at the bar. She was just very cold towards me and my friend while giving other patrons a great service with a big smile, it was very obvious that something about us annoyed her. Not sure what it was, as far as I know we didn't do anything to warrant this type of attitude. It was disappointing to say the least. Maybe because we had a comp from my host and she thought we weren't going to tip? I am a chairman status at red rock and I always get everything comped so this isn't unusual and I always overtip whenever I have any dining comped. Whatever her issue was hope she has a better day than the service we received. read more

What can you say about a place that has good food, but is so overpriced for the small portions you are served...rip-off! As an example, ordered the specialty 22 Oz bone-in rib-eye for $91. If there was 8 ounces of actual steak, it would be a lot, the rest was bone, fat and gristle. The breads served at the beginning were excellent, the salad and side dishes good, but obviously we expected a better value for an off-strip steakhouse. read more

I wish I had enjoyed this meal because it was really expensive, $450 for two (inclusive of tip). I felt rushed, harassed and conned out of my money. Here's why: 1. It's in a mega casino. Unfortunately in Vegas, mega casinos are about the only places where you can find high-end restaurants. But for me, walking thru a smoky casino is not my idea of a nice night out. Tip: If you park in the east garage, getting to T-Bones can be done without getting coated in nicotine. 2. Staff attitude and demeanor was more geared to a café or buffet dining experience, rather than a fine dining experience. We made reservations for 5:30 PM and arrived 10 minutes prior. The hostess sat us in the bar area - even though there were tons of available tables in the main dining area (why???). After a few minutes (and no one coming to greet us or acknowledge our presence), we realized sitting in the bar area wouldn't be great for a nice (expensive) romantic dinner. We went back to the hostess station and asked to be moved. We had to wait 10 -15 minutes because now there was a queue of other diners arriving for their reservations. In the end, we were given a nice table for two close to the huge fireplace in the main dining area. So, that's better, but a shame we had to do the whole bar thing first. 4. The entire meal was rushed. After we got settled at our new table by the fireplace, things sped up (barely an hour between the time we sat down till we left). The bus staff supplied water, the "bread guy" brought bread and butter, our waiter greeted us and provided menus. The waiter was friendly enough, but we hardly saw her. We had to flag down another waiter or manager to order anything else; additional drinks, bottle of wine or dessert. During all this struggling to find a waiter or manager our food kept coming out of the kitchen. Entrees arrived before we'd finished our appetizers. Our $120 bottle of cab we ordered to go with our steaks arrived after we'd eaten half of our steaks. Ordered a glass of sparkling to go with dessert, yep, it came long after dessert arrived. 5. Specialty drinks from the bar, top notch. 6. The food? Shrimp cocktail was delicious, really big prawns and delicious cocktail sauces. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The potato puree with horseradish, yummy. However, desserts were the typical mediocre hotel kitchen mass produced variety. 7. T-Bones is a chic dining venue with beautiful interior design. So that's a plus. I doubt we'll ever go back, but if we do, we'll sit at the bar and enjoy a cocktail or two before Ubering over to Vintner's Grill across the street, where service and ambiance is impeccable. read more

Red Rock Casino is a great place all around. And they have some really great restaurants, like T-Bones! The food is always exceptional and the service is wonderful. We always take family during the holiday time. The ambiance is always appealing. So if you're looking for a comfortable, we'll rounded restaurant that offers steak, this is your spot! They have several different type of breads: blue cheese, raisin, sourdough, pretzel and pumpernickel. I always go for the pumpernickel and my husband loves the pretzel and blue cheese. Then we started off with a chopped salad and the steakhouse salad. Great portions, can share and still have plenty. I also ordered the French onion soup. One of my favorites around! For the meats we selected the lamb chops, Ny strip and the bone-in ribeye. We wanted the bison ribeye, but they sold out earlier. All the cuts were lovely and paired well with asparagus, cauliflower au gratin and mac & cheese. Needless to say, we all left very full and very happy. My mom and I had dinner here recently. Overall the food was good and the server was decent but the hostesses could not have been anymore snooty. I had this issue the last time I was there. When did hostess' decide to be so snooty. They are there to serve the customer, not be rude to them. We had a reservation but ended up waiting for around 15 minutes to be seated. A couple who came in after us got seated before us and I complained. One of the hostesses said they had an earlier reservation and just stepped away for a drink. Ummm... I don't think so since you can get a drink inside the place. Once we were seated, everything was pretty good. For starters, mom had the Traditional French Onion Soup - Sweet Texas Onions, Swiss, Gruyere, Parmigiano Reggiano. I had the Brussels Sprouts salad - Mache, Manchego Cheese, Speck, Hazelnuts, Sherry Vinaigrette. We both enjoyed our starters. The salad was good size and filled me up quite a bit. For entrees, I had the 8 oz Petite Filet Mignon. Mom had the Colorado Lamb Chops - Herb Marinated, Bordelaise. Both were good. The steak was nicely cooked to my liking. A little pick inside but not too much. For sides, we had the Mushrooms - Crimini, Maitake, Royal Trumpets, Enoki, Bourbon; Tater Tots - Russet Potatoes, House Made Dill Ketchup; and Creamed Corn - Sweet White Corn, Parmesan Crumbs. Growl.....needed red meat! Typically in my humble opinion casino steakhouses tend to be good but overpriced. but there's really no way around paying top dollar for good food. The T-bones did not disappoint, probably more of a 4 7/8 stars than five, but couldn't do that on the app. I would take off points for the noise level. We don't expect a high end restaurant to be like a tomb, but it was hard to carry on a conversation. Had some oysters for an app... Tasty but small, steakhouse salad, not bad. main was the prime rib with garlic mashed potato's. The prime rib was tender and just enough fat. Other nice touches... The bread guy with his box O bread. The best Birthday dinner ever! The Seafood Jackpot was so fresh and who doesn't love fanny bay oysters? The ribeye and filet were juicy and out of this world. Don't even get me started on the Au Gratin potatoes with bacon, sour cream and chives! Service was phenomenal! I was really excited to be there since it was my second time coming back. (I LOVE the lobster chowder.) I had a 10pm reservation last night and I was really disappointed and surprised with the service we received this time around. Our waiter was so rude. It was like every time we asked for something (and yes we HAD to ask) for water refills etc. it was like we were bothering him. I thought maybe he just had RBF and that was just his face lol.. but no my friend noticed and commented on his attitude and dirty looks as well. Fantastic food, service!!! It has been a little over a year since my wife and I had T Bones... the rule of thumb is "standards and quality always declines with a restaurant " but not T Bones!! The service was totally on point ... our glasses were never half empty without an offer to refresh our drink. The lobster chowder is always a hit and my "non seafood fan" wife loves the crab cakes!! One of the best steak houses in Las Vegas! My wife and I split the tomahawk steak and a few sides. The spicy creamed corn was amazing! Our server, I believe was named Denise, was amazing. She was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. She was very knowledgeable about the entire menu and was able to answer all our questions. We had reservations for 7:30 and were seated within minutes. The place is upscale, but at the same time very comfortable. We have been here before and have always had the best time. Food and service have been impeccable, until tonight. We sat at the bar after a great day in the mountains and casino, husband and I ready to celebrate, eat, and spend. The bartender was rude to an extent I can't explain. He had a friend at the bar and was catering to him and ignoring/dismissing customers, trying to convince us out of certain dishes, ignoring empty drinks, and aggressive and rude in response to us asking for service. I was so embarrassed to complain, as someone in the service industry for over 23 years. The saving grace were the rest of the staff who were concerned and attentive. We had an awful experience at the bar there. Came for happy hour, cocktails were nice, couldn't wait till 5 o'clock to order some food. The bartender woman was rude and inattentive, keep passing us by, took a while to get her attention to order 3 different dishes, simple ones, crab cocktail,salad and fries. She didn't update us about the food, never refilled our water, just walked around looking upset,like she's too good to work there. Other customers were complaining too, we all had a talk about her. 40 minutes later still no food, her attitude was awfully unpleasant, we decided to leave,since the food wasn't coming. We told her we are about to leave since we are not being served anything, and her reaction was: ok,whatever. The worst service I've experienced probably anywhere. Since we live 5 minutes away, we went back home hungry and upset. It was supposed to be a nice outing and it was all ruined because of the bartender woman. I wish I knew her name so I can let people know to stay away. Needless to say, we are not going back again. So I saw a Facebook ad mentioning that T-Bones had a limited time special Stone Crab claw appetizer, so as locals we decided to swing by and give it a try. I ordered the 12oz Australian Wagyu strip, my wife ordered the salmon. Before I get started, out seating was outside, and our server was nice, but seemed a bit stretched and was not initially aware of the crab special. The waiter brought out someone else's meal by mistake. Then, low and behold in all it's tiny glory, our $110.00 Stone Crab dish came out which consisted of....ready for this, two....Crab claws, yes two! $55.00 per claw, about 4 bites total between both them. This was hands down the worst service I have ever had. We had a party of 15, at 2 tables. We had pre ordered the menu to make it easier. It took almost 2 hours from our reservation time to get the food. Appetizers came out 2 minutes before the main meal. We kept having to ask the server when our food would be out. He never updated us himself. We had to ask for more bread because we were starving. Manager never came to check on us. And they added gratuity for our party size and didn't take anything off the check for the AWFUL service. The food was good but we were all so annoyed we didn't even enjoy it. Pick another place.
