I'm a T-Mobile customer and I bought an AT&T phone online and was visiting L.A. when I decided to set up my new phone and transfer all my data. The store was understaffed but the staff was attentive. After being serviced, I had thought that I was successfully set up; all possible at&t features switched over with no issues but I was wrong. Immediately following my visit in L.A., my mobile data was never working on the new phone even when the phone itself said mobile data was enabled. The T-Mobile employee failed to change the access point names on my phone from at&t to T mobile which prevented me from getting any data. My issue was resolved when I came back to Orange County and walked into the Lake Forest T-Mobile store where Juan helped me by setting up the correct T Mobile access point names and now my mobile data is working!!! Thank you Juan! I also appreciate the fact that this location is well-staffed whenever I walk in and immediately acknowledges incoming customers even while they're attending to others. read more

I visited this location today because my daughter's iPhone that she has had less than 3 months stopped charging. The store was busy when we arrived and we were told it would be about a 20 minute wait. It ended up being close to 40. Once we were finally with a technician he was unable to solve the problem. He didn't seem to know what he was doing diagnostically. His resolution was for me to wait over a week for T-Mobile to send me a replacement phone in the mail. In the meantime he was actually smirking because I was upset. The phone is less than 3 months old yet T-Mobile expects you to be ok with it being broken. My daughter rides the train to school each day and needs her phone in case of an emergency. The rep actually suggested that I open a new line of service and pay for an additional phone so that my daughter would have a working phone. One of the trouble shooting techniques he did was to clean the charging port. His cleaning did not fix the problem. After spending an hour and a half at the store I went to the Apple Store at Irvine Spectrum. Amazingly enough the tech there cleaned the charging port and the phone starting charging. The customer service I received today at the Lake Forest T-Mobile store was the worst I have ever received. I have been a customer for over nine years but after my experience today I am seriously considering switching to a different carrier. Thanks Tmobile for your stellar service. Cory was great. Was very knowledgeable on the phones and services. I live in the hills of Orange County. I have had service with Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T. All these services do not provide coverage at my house. I looked into T Mobile because they have a a special device on their phones to automatically switch to wifi calling when there is no coverage. With great surprise I found that I have full coverage at my house without using the wifi calling. This service with tmobile is very very good. The staff at this location was able to explain and instruct me and set up my phone with no problems. They even did it quickly. I highly recommend that you use tmobile service and go to the store for purchasing your phones. read more

I needed a sim card adapter that they dont carry but he made one out of a bigger sim card to help out and didnt charge me anything for it. This is what I call customer service. Went to the T-Mobile store in Lake Forest to purchase a new Samsung Galaxy S5 phone and accessories. Waited just a few minutes on a Saturday afternoon before being helped by Francisco, who offered EXCELLENT customer service! Francisco was very knowledgeable about all the products, pricing, etc., and he couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. He made my phone buying experience not just painless, but pleasant! He was so great that I decided to buy a pair of Beats headphones from him. Thanks, Francisco, for providing such superb customer service! You are a real asset to T Mobile!!! I would give this a five star if I had dealt with Hugo the first time, tho in fairness to the store, they were crowded on that visit, and I did not ask the right question. 2nd visit, today, I met with Hugo, and if all T-Mobil reps were like him, I would buy stock in the company. Back history: I bought a G4 myTouch at Costco and had several problems with it. My first visit to this store for problem # 1, they directed me back to Costco because it was a part issue (8 gig missing and 1 gig inside--a theft and returned phone that I got as a "new phone" ...buyer beware!). I believe this policy of having to go back to Costco over exchanges shouldn't be, because T-Mobile is T-Mobile, but there is always a glitch when you buy from a discount store. That was the glitch...if the phone is defective, you have to return it to the discount store. What a nightmare during the holidays. Next up: New phone has a Wi-Fi issue. T-Mobile's customer support line could "not help" me, and I called them 4 times. As a last resort, I was going to buy a phone from this store so I could get support, and get hooked up again on my network, and take the 2nd phone back to Costco and be done with the entire affair. So, I went there today with a mission. But Hugo pointed out to me that I did not need WiFi with the G4. Isn't it interesting that T-Mobile's own CS did not give me that information? Hugo also fixed some other problems (operator guilty). He was so friendly, and knowledgeable and didn't treat me like a dweeb because I'm over 50. This isn't to say the others that work there are not as friendly and helpful (I think they are), but the first guy I ran into there dropped my rating by one because he deferred me to Costco before I even told him the problem. This might not be his fault, but it was such a sour experience that I just couldn't go with 5 stars. He should have let me explain why I was there before saying I needed to go to Costco. This T-Mobile is a clean store, and everyone is focused on their work. Very professionally run. When I upgrade again,I am going to this store because of the great help I got today from Hugo. During my recent visit to this store on 11/12/14 at about 6:00pm, I expirenced a male employee with dark thinning curly hair, medium length, that was unusually rude and full of misinformation . I normally find most of the employees at this store to be helpful and polite. He seemed to not have time for me and had a answer for everything even though it turns out most answers he gave were the wrong answers. There was a female employee who after seeing our interaction came over to me as I was leaving and was extremely nice and tried to clear up some of her coworkers misinformation. My advice is if you see him when you walk in, you should turn around and RUN out. read more

I have been going to this store for a few years now as it was by my house. Well I have had good service until today. I was waited on by Felipe. I tried to tell him this phone iPhone 10 is my forth phone this year 2017. The reason for three of the phones when I called people my phone cut in and out, people could not hear me but I could hear them. Even with my new phone I'm still having the problem. But today I went in to have them fix my email. When I got my phone I did what it said to pull over all my stuff to my new phone. I noticed some of my photos did not come over and I needed help getting my email numbers working. I have had a number of phones and when they transferred over my stuff everything went well and I could use my two email numbers which are sbcglobal.net and of course iCloud.com. Well my emails didn't work so I went back and a lady helped me and took my phone and put info into my phone and now I only get iCloud.com email. I went back today and that's when Felipe helped me. He wouldn't listen to my reason for coming in, he said they were the middle man for the phones and I would have to go to apple. I told him they have transferred three phones this year and my emails all worked until this new phone that I brought in and the lady by hand put in what ever she did and said it was fixed. Went home and the only email I get is iCloud.com, I do not get my other email addresses and I can't send out a email. So I can not get my sbcglobal.net emails which has been a nightmare since I am selling property and everyone has my sbcglobal.net emails. But Felipe said I had to have my passwords and I told him I know I brought them. He didn't want to help me and I was getting tired of all the reasons I need to go to Apple. I looked at him and said I will go some where else and he called the next person in line which there wasn't that many at that time. He did not say no I will do my best to see if I can get it to work or anything he just called the next person. When he called my name to help me I could tell he was annoyed to began with I should of asked to see someone else. It might sound like he was with me for a while but he took four minutes if that to try and help me. I could not believe he treated me this way and I am writing a review on someone, but I felt someone needs to help him with his customer service. Of course nothing will be done. I went to this store to purchase the iPhone 6s Plus, but they were out of stock, so the gentleman recommended the jump on demand, so I got the iPhone 6s (not the plus) and put down $225 and taxes, he said once the iPhone 6s Plus comes into stock I can trade it in at no additional fees upfront, ZERO DOLLARS, NO TAXES, NO UPGRADE FEES ETC., however I would have to pay $4 additional per month because I'm getting a bigger phone which I was ok with. Well today they have the 6S plus in stock and I'm so excited to get my iPhone........ They even told me its absolutely $0 when I walked into the store. Well I didn't end up getting the phone I wanted because they wanted an additional $225 upfront! WTF!!!!!! I'm so irritated! DO NOT GET "jump on demand" If I knew this when I first joined that plan, I would have never chosen jump on demand. This is BS. Now I'm stuck paying monthly for a phone I do not want!
