If you want to buy a brand new, well packaged cell phone, avoid this store!!! I bought a Samsung S5 as gift for my girlfriend. I found the packaged was unsealed, and I am sure it was opened before. I went back to the store within 3 mins and ask for exchange. The manager Will.V told me the cellphone is brand new, it just be opened by their employee to show other consumers. He told me that I was buying the cell phone, not package, and the cellphone is more important than the package. He said 99% of their consumers will accept an opened package. I tried to ask for help from other employees, but was told that Will.V is the top manger in the store, they totally understand but cannot do anything for me. I had been there for 2 hours, Will.V kept teaching me how to be a consumer. He said he doesn't care about the package at all when he shops and I should not be picky. If I want to return or exchange the cell phone, I have to pay $50, because it is purchased and opened already. He blamed me why didn't I check before pay if it is so important. He even did not say a "Sorry" to me. Finally I walked out the store with the unsealed Samsung S5. How do you guys feel if you have the same situation? What is the meaning of a brand new cell phone? Will V told me Apple also does the same thing for the consumers, no people would care about the package issue, is it true? He also told me if he does exchange for me, everyone will ask for exchange, it will break their business policy, am I really a bad guy make them in trouble? I showed enough respect in the store, now I have to give an opened "brand new" cellphone to my girlfriend for a gift. First time I came in there was a line out the door and parking was not on my side either. So I left. I came a second time, in the evening and parking was easy and the store was completely empty. I got help right away and my questions were answered, maybe not the best or most informed because their system was experiencing some kind of trouble or something, but I felt that I knew what I had to do to proceed with my billing questions. read more

I've come to this store a couple times and every time the employees have been extremely rude. Phone services are getting more complicated by the day and just because I asked a simple question does not mean I need yo be treated with an attitude. I work in the customer service industry and if I had ever treated a customer so disrespectfully like they have I would be written up numerous times or fired. It is unacceptable to be treated in such a fashion only because I did not understand a simple policy. If I come here again and I am treated this way again I will probably be speaking to corporate about these employees. My significant other and I took advantage of T-Mobile's current special, 2 lines, unlimited data/text, for $100 (on auto-pay, taxes and fees INCLUDED) by ordering the service online a few days ago. We received the SIM cards in the mail and went to this T-Mobile location with our new T-Mobile SIM cards and own devices in hand. I guess they call it the BYOP ;-). We were fortunate to be greeted and helped by Darlene P. a few minutes before the store's official opening time of 11am. Our situation was probably not the typical customer situation where a new phone and service is initiated. In our case, my boyfriend and I had our own existing accounts with AT&T and our own devices. We wanted to activate our phones by porting over our phone numbers under their respective AT&T accounts. Darlene expertly handled the complete process of obtaining the information she needed (current carrier account information including security PIN) and everything went without a hitch! In addition, Darlene also noticed that the account information which was created online when I first ordered the SIM cards had my first name incorrectly spelled and she corrected it for me. After we returned home from the store, pleased as punch that all was working, Darlene texted me that she saw my account had been charged for service several days before today's activation. She informed me she had credited my account for the prior days' charges so that I wasn't being billed before the actual start of service. How often do you receive this kind of customer service where the representative takes initiative to find an error and to rectify it immediately? In my case, rarely! Darlene is the best. We appreciated the fact she was very cordial but focused on efficiently taking care of our phone activation without getting distracted. We were out of there within half an hour. Thank you, Darlene. We hope T-Mobile recognizes how valuable you are to them because you truly represent T-Mobile in the best possible light. read more

I purchase a 1000 minutes contract with a one-year contract on August 30, 2012. After 3 weeks of use and probably no more than 50 min. use the phone number stop working. Once I returned to the store that I had purchase the minutes I was informed that the phone number no longer belong to me and it is owned by another party. I was not given an understandable explanation and the same sales person who eagerly help me buy the $100. worth of minutes practically told me that nothing can be done. Almost 6 months later preparing my documents for my CPA last week I found the contract and proof of payment. With that in my hand I returned to the same store located at 4545 Pacific Coast HWY, Long Beach, CA 99804. After explaining the situation to a sales rep. I was referred to a Manger name Lawrence A.. His accusatory inquisitions were degrading and he had made his mind that nothing can be done and it is all my fault for waiting for almost 6 months. Once I explain that the phone was purchased for my brother who was suffering from Cancer and dealing with this issue was not a priority and I knew it was a one year contract and demanded from him to stop accusations and start doing his job and act like a manager, he asked me to leave the store. I refused and ask for a supervisor. He said it was him and I was suppose to leave the store or he will call the Police. On My return to my office I stop payment on my credit card. However I still have not stopped being upset about he way this whole transaction was performed and handled. I have requested a review of the contract and the transaction from their executive customer service. I like to be assured that this is not a scheme by T-Mobil or the particular store. Few years ago I switched my cell carrier from AT&T to T-Mobile. I was greeted by friendly staffs when I walked in to this store. I was helped by Judy H she was very knowledgeable on the cell phone I was interested. Judy thoroughly explained to me all the plans that's available. This was the best phone purchasing experience I have ever had! Judy assisted me. She had good energy, was very patient with all of questions and waiting for information, and only made recommendations based on her personal experience. This store has great customer service. My HTC sensation has had several bugs with it. I have warranted my phone, twice, both times the service desk never asked me questions about it or suspected that I was trying to warranty just for a new phone.. They were polite, approachable, friendly, and FAST. What more could I ask from a cell phone provider store? My son wanted an unlimited data plan so I visited this T-Mobile location and to my surprise my experience was very pleasant. The salesman was extremely knowledgeable with the devices and gave me pointers on how to cut costs off my bill. I thought WOW - aren't sales-folks supposed to up-sell you?? This particular store had tons of phones to choose from (way more than any AT&T corp stores I can remember), very clean, and the manager even came out to thank me for my business. My go to location! I'm always greeted when I walk in. This location has great customer service. I love how they take down your name so they can help people who came in order. I decided to get the new IPhone 8 plus. I didn't feel upsold or wasn't talked into buying this and that. The associate I dealt with was Judy. So pretty with such a great attitude. Answered all my questions. Even if she didn't know an answer to my question she didn't front. She was very honest. She even copied my phone from the 7 to the 8 plus and literally all my apps and stuff were the same which was super awesome. I was in and out within the hour. Not really sure why t-Mobil exists.. I have been to so many different locations and not one seems to understand customer service. All they want is your money. They will tell you whatever you need to hear head to get what they want and once you step out of that t-Mobil store your on your own. I mean come on!!!! You bill people a month ahead why? I'm sure it's so they can benefit from some kind of loop hole they created in the contract. If I could give them no starts I would. I have called and wrote to there district manager explaining my issues I have with them but it seems as tho the only thing this company cares about is you making your monthly payment because they are quick to turn your service off but not as quick to care about what's on with your phone/service! **Please read** Monday of this week I went in to get a mobile plan. I was immediately welcomed by Judy. The process was easy and very straightforward. While Judy helped me directly, Daysha also stepped in and helped. Overall, Monday went really well. On Tuesday, I was experiencing issues with my phone and was not able to talk with some customers while others were able to talk with me. I called and explained I was unable to visit the T-Mobile location after work because I would be to far away. Judy was unavailable so Daysha took the initiative and tried walking me through the steps over the phone. It was unsuccessful, and Daysha said she would be willing to meet up with me outside of work to insure my phone would work properly. I come from a customer service background and never in my life have I had this experience before. She went so far out of her way to make sure I was satisfied. While she met up with me, Judy was able to get on the phone with her and both girls were trying to fix my phone. Eventually, both girls found the issue and fixed the problem. The review was long but necessary. I hope these two girls get recognized for their outstanding customer service. Because Daysha met up with me outside of work, I am completely sold on T-Mobile from this experience alone. I can't imagine joining another carrier again. read more
