I have been a customer at t mobile for a while. I left and tried another company and immediately came back to t mobile. Judy has been a wealth of knowledge and has walked me through every step of my upgrades. She always takes care of all my phone needs. I drive 30 minutes to come to this particular store because everyone is very helpful. If you are thinking of upgrading or changing companies, you definitely need to stop by this store. Went into the store today to get help with my business account. Katherine was extremely patient and helpful. I've been back and forth with customer service multiple times that being the reason I finally went into a store for assistance. Katherine unfortunately didn't have access to make the necessary changes to account but she did stay on phone with customer service until the changes were processed. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever dealt with. I walked into this store after jumping through several unnecessary hoops to take advantage of the T-Mobile trade in offer to upgrade my iPhone 12 to a 14. Long story short, T-Mobile somehow blocked me from doing my upgrade trade in via Apple (I never got an answer why), forced me into a T-Mobile store to trade, didn't have the phone I wanted in store (of course), mailed the new phone to me (took over a week), and then the associate removed the screen protector on my current phone in order to inspect iy for trade in and told me to hold onto it (protector-less) until I got my new phone. So, while I waited for my upgraded phone to come in the mail, I of course cracked the screen of my iPhone 12 because the associate had removed the screen protector and never offered me a new one while I waited for my other phone. I went into this T-Mobile store on PCH to explain the situation and to see what could be done, especially since I had jumped through a ton of different unnecessary hoops in the first place. The first employee I explained everything to basically shrugged and spoke to me like a toddler, basically telling me that my 12 is worthless for trade in now. Then Katherine the Assistant Manager stepped in and had absolutely no sympathy for my myriad of issues T-Mobile had put me through. She refused to even try to help the situation and seemed to relish telling me "no". She told me that T-Mobile wasn't the one that "broke the phone" and that there was nothing that could be done and as a result, my trade in was no longer going to be honored. I explained everything and she didn't care. As I became more upset and distressed she smirked at me and told me her hands were tied. She even implied that she was "uncomfortable helping me" because I was obviously exasperated by the entire situation. She gaslit me and made me feel like I was being crazy instead of being compassionate towards me and attempting to help me. She did not offer to help me explore some options that were available and acted like I was an annoyance to get rid of instead of a loyal customer who had been having a very rough time with the company she represents. She basically refused to help me by pawning me off to customer service and told me nothing could be done. This of course, was not true. I called customer service and they issued me a 30 dollar credit to fix my screen so I could fully trade it in. They told me to go get it fixed at Apple and then go trade it in and everything would be fine. Katherine didn't mention this, didn't seem concerned for me, didn't care at all about my predicament, didn't even instruct me to try and call customer service because there might be options available. I had to do this all myself...someone with absolutely no insight or training into T-Mobile policies or procedures. Crazy that I could do a better job than someone they are paying to help manage one of their stores. Look, I have worked in customer service for 20 years, and I worked all through the pandemic. I understand that customers can be unreasonable...but truly, customer service in general has become so dire, it seems like you can't expect any sort of help from anyone anymore. I literally don't know what Katherine is paid for if it isn't to try and solve a customer issue. She acted as if me being upset was totally unwarranted and irrational, when in actuality it is normal under the circumstances. I didn't yell, I didn't cuss, but I did insist on some sort of help since literally that is her job. If I wasn't issued the help I needed over the phone I would've ended my 17 year relationship with T-Mobile. Absolutely insane level of disregard for their customers. 1. I wouldn't recommend going into this store or any store. The employees are so unhappy with their jobs they basically get a kick out of seeing their customers be upset. If you do go to this store with an issue, don't expect anything from Katherine besides condescension and gaslighting. 2. Try and do all your trade ins through Apple. Although, you might find that T Mobile blocks your account for no reason which forces you into a T Mobile store (this is what happened to me.) All in all a truly bad experience. This phone store is well staffed so you won't wait long, even when it's packed. My Verizon service in my home is poor so I thought I would check out their competition. The t mobile salesman put in a t mobile Sim card for me then conveniently "forgot" to switch in back to Verizon as I declined the t mobile service. When I left t .obile and got in my car, I was upset that my Verizon phone was still running t mobile. Talk about bait and switch. A t mobile employee who happens to live in my neighborhood admitted that cellphone reception for 5g stinks in my part of long beach with both Verizon and t mobile. read more

This one is for Chelsea the MVP. We upgraded phones and had an issue with our plan rate. Chelsea was a pro at talking to customer care and getting us the right payment. I admired the way she was doing 20 things at once and managing it so smoothly. I wanna be Chelsea when I grow up (even though I'm grown). Lastly, I keep all the receipts on my phone meaning, my data transfer took over an hour and lapped over closing time. In 3/5/2024 at 3:40 I Arrived T mobile local store, ID: 79012 There is a representative: Brooke Childs who accepted my urgent request. My phone number has been stolen. Hackers split my phone number from a business account to a prepaid account, then hijacked my number...   She was very responsible and professional, and helped me contact the headquarters. Her judgment and analysis are very rational and logical. Hackers stole my mobile number and tried to further steal my bank account, causing a huge crisis. She kept contacting the headquarters and explained to the relevant personnel... About 45 minutes later, my mobile phone number was retrieved and the password was successfully changed. Many thanks for Brooke Child's professionalism and competence. I recommend again and appreciate her professionalism. read more

I had a great low pressure, very helpful experience with Manny at T-Mobile off PCH in Long Beach. He not only gave all options, but suggested which made the most sense (and cents). Not that I didn't already have my mind made up before I entered, but Manny confirmed my choices were good and was surprised I did so much homework ahead. Even thinking I had it all figured out, Manny mentioned a couple things I did not think about, of course that is why he is good. I stopped in today because I had decided that it would be wise to make the switch from Verizon to the more budget friendly T-Mobile since my birthday now qualifies me for a great deal. I was greeted by a friendly young lady who was ready and willing to help me out as soon as I walked in the door. I told her what I needed and she immediately began the process of porting my phone number and starting my new service. The entire process couldn't have taken more than 15 minutes from the time I walked in the door to walking out with my new service already functioning on my phone. Other than that, it's your typical mobile phone and accessory store. Parking can be an issue because the lot is about the size of a postage stamp. There are probably no more than 15 parking spots and they're shared with a Starbucks and another business. Great in store service and no pressure for an up-sell. I was very pleased. I had been with Verizon since before they were called Verizon. Remember Airtouch Cellular?? Yeah, that long... Came back to this store because my daughter's new iPhone was glitching....T Mobile employee, Elizabeth, was the perfect person to help us as she was an exceptional detective and figured out the problem took care of the fix and we were on our way. This is my second time in this store and our first experience was with Andrew and he was great as well. It seems like everyone at this store is eager to greet customer and just as eager to help with their cellular inquires. I am completely DISGUSTED about recent experience at this location. My phone was stolen at tan airport and I was devasted as a new flight attendant not having my phone when I need to for my job to contact me at any moment for a flight. I had to call my job to let them now about my ordeal and wait 4 hours to go to this store and get a new phone. I don't have my receipt at this moment so I can't put the young girl who helped me out. Long story short she offered me to get a screen protector and case for a charge and I declined. Towards the end of it all, she told me the protector and case is free for getting my iPhone 14 and I was like sure okay, but I was also confused because at first it was a charge. Now almost a month LATER when my sister was looking into the bill I am now being charged payment plans for those two items which I declined for! It's frustrating that I even had to go through that day but then being lied to for possibly a commission or incentive she possibly could have got from this is disgusting. read more

Horrible service! Todays staff was awful to me. I was there for 3 hours with absolutely not resolution. Girl in dreads was on her phone most the time or sitting down, other girl was mouthing off to Me. Asked the guy to help me and speak to my dad and he said " no thank you" they said they couldn't resolve my problem then I went to the t mobile on bellflower and they resolved it in 10 mins tops. Awful awful waste of time. Rude staff not to mention- I was there 3 hours and before a rush of people and they chose to help anybody else as I stood there basically begging for help to resolve it . You need to hire more mature and professional people, we had children in the car as I had mentioned for 3 hours and our kid wet his pants. Ok I rarely leave reviews but I wanted to everything possible to give credit to remarkable customer service and I received 5 star service from Brooke at this location in Long Beach near the traffic circle. Brooke went way above your particular expectations from a T Mobile store. I was shocked to find out she wasn't a manager because she had all the tools necessary to be one. The best.... And I mean BEST!!!!.... Customer service I have ever received. She didn't help me with a prewritten training text, she helped me with a concern for me and making sure I got my problem resolved. Everyone in the store was great but gave credit to Brooke for being the closest to a manager I could get and they were absolutely correct. I highly recommend this location if you've had issues with other T mobile or Sprint stores and ask for Brooke if you have a problem. My boyfriend and I were AT&T customers for 12+ years, paying $250 between us for unlimited plans. We made many attempts to alter/combine our plans over the years, wasting countless hours on the phone with customer service, pointless visits to local stores. AT&T effectively gaslighted us, and we continued overpaying for sub-par coverage out of convenience. At the top of my 2021 resolutions: Switch To T-Mobile. They are widely recognized as the best of the best in international plans, and two lines will set you back just $120/month for unlimited everything. No additional taxes, no fees. I called a few hours in advance to make an appointment, which are recommended during the pandemic. Manny was very helpful, and had us set up with a new plan, SIM cards, and working phone numbers, in under 15 minutes. The process was amazingly easy, and I regret not doing it years ago. I dock one star because there were 20+ people inside the relatively small store. It is January 2021, and the Covid-19 situation in LA is worse than ever. I feel that for they should further limit capacity for the time being, to ensure the safety of their employees and customers. read more

Highly recommend this store, especially Judy Huang. I met Judy a few years ago when I had cell plan with T-Mobile. I was very impressed by her professionalism and good manner. In Jan I thought about switching my family plan back to TM and contacted Judy. She was very helpful and patient. We had quiet a few questions (she answered them all very quickly). She was very patient with me when I tried to coordinate my family members' schedule so we could all come in together. The switching was smooth. Had the best experience with Judy. I highly recommend her for all of your mobile needs. She truly cares about her customers and goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. I was looking to change providers and also upgrade hardware to the iPhone XR. I wanted to upgrade to T-Mobile as I they have good network coverage, one price (includes unlimited data/voice/text with all fees and taxes) and the best international coverage. Unfortunately, they never seemed to have a great enough of a deal on both phone upgrades (with trade ins) AND rate plans. I spoke with Judy over the phone and let her know what I was looking for. She told me that I should wait and if/when the right deal came up, she'd call me to let me know. A month later, timing was right and a great rate plan promo AND device trade-in were available (able to get max trade in value for both my phones). She texted me a few different options, breaking down up-front costs, credits and monthly costs and the differences in what you get with each plan. Everything was fully transparent! I really liked that she did all over this for me before I even had to go to the store. How many people are that reliable to say what they are going to do and follow through like that? She went the extra mile to set aside the phones I decided to go with and prepped me to back up my phones to icloud so I could come into the store, handle the transaction and get out in under an hour! Efficient. She also proceeded to follow up by text message to make sure I was happy and everything was ok. She made sure I got the free Netflix perk today by sending me the link so I could easily sign up. I so happy with my purchase! This review is solely for the one person here who always helps me and built a relationship with her customers, Pong. Pong is extremely helpful and I was introduced to her by my sister when she first received excellent service from her. Yes we all know that the people who help you get the commission on what they sell you, but at the same time you want to give your business to someone who deserves it. And pong is definitely that person. After years of bouncing from location to location whenever I need an upgrade or help with my plan or anything, pong has shown me patience and loyalty into whatever I need. I'm kind of a difficult customer. You know the one that asks a hundred questions before even deciding if I want something. And she always answers everything. She has stayed longer than her shifts to help me out. Driven to different location to pick up a certain color phone I've wanted. Even notified me of the free merchandise for T-Mobile Tuesday so I can get it. I even bother her days off and she always responds and answer my questions instead of ignoring me (like I probably would if I was off. Lol it's the truth) I just want to say that this company is so lucky to have someone like her to be able to build that client relationship and cherishing it. Everyone knows that it's the smallest screwup to lose someone's business. But I'd definitely follow Pong wherever she goes. read more
