This place was so beautiful inside and out. The employees were kind and were attentive without hovering. They are limited on food items and recommended the appetizer in place of what I really wanted. The paneer appetizer they recommended was good, but I'm not big on it covered in a thick sauce but that's just my preference of not liking the consistency. They took note of all the dietary needs and made adjustments accordingly, which I greatly appreciated! I've been to both the West Orlando location and this Winter Park location. I'm so glad they opened one closer to me because they're both delicious! I would most definitely go back again for the service, food and ambiance! read more

Tried tabla for the first time and really enjoyed this restaurant. Upon entry we were immediately greeted and seated. The restaurant is nicely decorated with inside and "outside " seating. There is a nice list of mocktails and wines. We ordered the pad Thai for $20 and throughly enjoyed. We ordered a bottle of moscato for $48which was really good as well. Go here if you are looking for ambience. We came here for my fiancés birthday. I called ahead to make a reservation, I was never asked or given the option of inside or outside seating so when we arrived, I was surprised to see we were outside. There is minimal ventilation and airflow, as they are located in a covered courtyard/corridor area. It was hot, my party of 9 were all sweating. I did kindly ask about moving inside prior to dinner being served but was kind of brushed off by the hostess. Our waiter had ZERO tableside personality and had forgotten a couple of our drink orders. No biggie we are all human right?? The food was pleasing to look at but flavor was lacking for my taste and most of us at the table. We have had more flavorful Indian and Chinese at your little "hole in the wall" places. The Shrimp IndoChinese rice was delicious. The General Tso was not good and my Chicken Tikka Masala lacked salt and any form of spice, I ordered medium spice. We had brought a cake to have birthday festivities, asked for spoons. They brought us spoons that were clearly not cleaned well with left over food particles on them. We tipped well and left. All in all we will not be back; the ambience was nice outside if it were 80 degrees or cooler. Maybe get more fans to help with air circulation for your guests that eat outside. read more

We sat "outside" in the covered hall that links the neighboring restaurants together. The inside of the restaurant is sleek, modern, sophisticated, glam which carries over to the covered "outside" with a touch of nature by a large tree that cascades over a few of the tables. What a wonderfully warm welcome & top-notch service experience by our waiter Clayto. He didn't miss a beat throughout the entire time we were at the table. He not only walked us through the menu, but inquired about our likes, spice preferences, and made phenomenal recommendations. The food was consistently spectacular from appetizer to entrees, presentation & taste. but Clayto enhanced the delicious cuisine. We felt like we had a new friend by the time the check came. If Tabla can continue to deliver consistently exceptional cuisine & all of their servers exude the warmth of Indian culture and service excellence -- Tabla will become a staple of Winter Park dining. We were looking for a place to celebrate going back to college and decided on Tabla. I ordered the Paneer Makhani and it was delightfully creamy. My mom ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala and she was pleased with the size of the paneer chunks. My stepdad ordered the Tandoori Chicken and he was satisfied with the good portion size. Good food, I like the boutique approach on their concept it reminds me of a hotel in Beverly Hills. I've been to Indian restaurants in Texas and their mild is Hot, Tabla I can actually stomach your hottest flavor, I had a friend and his family join us for dinner ( who are Indian descent) and they also said your extra hot was mild for them also. But overall quality of food was sooooo spot on the garlic Naan was excellent, the goat was so tender, and sauce minus the spicy was spot on. I will be back for date night with my wife. read more

Had a reservation for lunch just in case because Sundays in WP can be crazy but it wasn't crowded at all and we were seated immediately. Menu is a mix of Indian, Chinese and some Thai. We had the Chicken Tika Masala and Thai basil fried rice. While everything was tasty the portion for the price was small, even tiny. The masala dish was barely 3-inches around. And dishes do not include naan , everything is extra. Too pricy for what you get. Fried rice didn't have much flavor, very little basil and was dry. If you go stick with the Indian selection which I think they do best. read more

I have never been treated so poorly. Was hung up on 2x...finally asked for a manager who proceeded to argue with me for 20 mins as opposed to helping me. I'm not sure how the food is because unfortunately, They are so disorganized and refuse to take ownership of their mistakes. First they said they never got my order, then they changed their story to the driver never came to pick it up, strangely, after the driver texted me 20 minutes before saying they were there, and continued texting me that they were waiting.
