I've been to Table twice now. If you have heard some hype about them, I'm here to tell you that the food lives up to it! The first time out I had chicken tikka masala. It was flavorful and delicious! On my second visit I tried the butter chicken and it was excellent - butter chicken usually is a pretty mild flavor but this one had a little kick of spice that really enhanced it! Their samosas were also delicious and crispy, and the dipping sauces were divine! The only thing I will ding them for is speed of service. On my first visit we were seated for a long time before the meal arrived. We were having a nice chat so it was fine, but long enough that it was noticeable. The second time I did take-out. I arrived about 10 minutes later than my pickup time, so I was worried the food would be cold. But in fact it was not ready yet - they told me it would be another 10 minutes. So I sat down and waited, and it was closer to 20. Again luckily I had nowhere to be, but 30 minutes past the projected pickup time is a lot. We got Palak Ghosht (super tender boneless lamb in a savory sauce), Butter Chicken (classic cooked well), garlic naan, and Chicken Manchurian (which is like an elevated general tsos with with a bit more depth in sweet, tangy flavor). Some great flavors with good serving sizes. The restaurant itself has a nice, classy vibe for a date night or friend gathering, but seating is a bit limited. Unfortunately, I didn't get the best service experience. I ordered take out and arrived 5 min after I was notified by the app that the order was ready. I waited 10-15 min for someone to address me at the front. I told my name to at least 3 different people and they all told me they would check it. Someone finally said that my food was ready, they just had to pack the food, and that it would be another 10 minutes (why does it take 10 min?). I waited over 40 minutes standing at the restaurant after I was notified that my order was ready. While I was waiting there, I witnessed 2 walk-ins get tables before a person who made reservations and was already waiting for 20 minutes. Both issues would've been solved by a host or at least some more organization at the time. Maybe just a bad night? I hope so. Please still try the food. It's pretty tasty. read more

Brilliant customer service (I'm talking about you, Rumualdo!). I'd walked by Tabla last weekend and immediately filed it away in my mental Rolodex. This family-owned business will hopefully thrive due to word of mouth, which will be generated by the mouth-watering entrees served here. You know it's good when you get excited about the CRACKERS. I was served this small cone-shaped cracker with two sauces - one with mint leaves, cilantro, chilies, and a splash of yogurt. Unbelievable flavor - grabs you and does not let go. The second sauce was just tamarind and mint - sweeter but no less delightful. By the time I got to my entree ($18) and garlic naan ($4), I was in a Yelper's delight state of mind. If I grew up with Butter Chicken as a staple in my diet, I'd weigh 300 pounds by now. My Thai tea was - of course - perfection . This is an "impression" experience. As we've all learned in my reviews, I can talk- well in this case type, a lot. Especially when I'm excited and passionate about the restaurant, food truck I'm talking about. Tabla is one of the newest places that I feel so strongly about. I refuse to pick a stand out the highlight from my trip because it's honestly impossible. We started with the Vegetable Samosa and the Gobi Manchurian. I love samosas and this one is perfect. There's a very tiny kick in it that makes you want to eat more of them. And the Gobi Manchurian is a MUST TRY, they also have a chicken version but you WOULD NOT KNOW that the cauliflower was cauliflower. They were addicting and probably part of the reason I started to get full quickly! But I would be doing everyone a disservice if I didn't mention their pickled vegetables, it was Carrots, Onions and a few other goodies but they were extraordinary! Now the entrees, we had the Lamb chops, Malai Kofta, Lamb Rogan Josh and of course their incredible garlic naan! Honestly, that was the best lamb chops I have EVER had. The balance of the flavors, the delicious vegetables underneath, and how it was perfectly seasoned. The Malai Kofta is another impeccable choice to get whether you eat meat or not. The Lamb Rogan Josh is by far my favorite from any of the Indian restaurants I've been too! Last but not least; the Garlic Naan. I would eat their naan every single day for the rest of my life if I could. It was perfect, I truthfully don't have the words to even attempt to sum up how great it tastes. The seating area is relatively small with both indoor and "outdoor" seating. The food was delicious. We started with mixed pakora and palak ke phool. Then for entrees we had paneer makanhi and Rogan Josh. The sauce of the paneer Makanhi was the most flavorable tomato cream sauce I have ever had. If you are going during the weekend, I would recommend reservations. The service was good. Overall a great experience and I would eat here again. read more
