I love the fusion of Indian/Chinese restaurants, there aren't many here in Orlando. This is a really great location and beautiful place, I love the atmosphere and decor. My fiancé and I went on a Wednesday night, it was really slow due to being very new in the area and being a weekday. We were greeted immediately walking up to the host stand and was seated right after. Our server actually sat us so we were able to get drinks right away. Not sure if they had a drink menu because we didn't receive one but we were searching for mango lassi and luckily they did have it. The mango lassi was definitely worth trying, it was delicious. We ordered an entree of butter chicken, chicken Manchurian and garlic Naan. The portions are shareable portions so just getting one item will be enough for 2 people. The butter chicken was very flavorful. The Manchurian was a little soggy and too much sauce for my liking. It wasn't horrible but not very impressive. Everyone in the restaurant came to check on us, service was excellent. We will definitely be back to try the Indo/Chinese entrees. Overall, highly recommend. read more

The food overall was very good and the service adequate. We were seated right away (although we did have a reservation). We had the Samosas and the Coconut Shrimp for appetizers and received them pretty quickly. The Coconut Shrimp is some of the best that I've tried in a long time and the Samosas were also delicious. We had to a pretty long wait time for our entrees and we overheard the couple seated next to us complaining about it for which the staff were apologetic. The Chicken Tikka Masala (comes with rice) was pretty good, it had a little bit of a kick but was not at all too spicy (coming from someone who can't handle spicy foods). The Butter Naan tasted good as well, but we are pretty convinced we received regular Naan on accident (which was fine). My boyfriend had the Thai Green Curry which he said was absolutely delicious (comes with jasmine rice). read more

An EXCELLENT place to enjoy India cuisine in Central Florida. We were a party of five. We had butter chicken, chicken masala, chicken vindaloo, curry goat and curry lamb. ALL of the dishes were superbly made, delicious and portions were just right. Naan breads selection was quite extensive and freshly delicious as well. Ambiance was nice. Is present in Park Ave so parking is on the street. The place is nice, has a nice ambiance to it. I would say the food is okay. Most of the Indian restaurants, the food has been modified to Americans taste so it's not your authentic Indian food. I have not found an Indian restaurant that makes authentic food in Orlando yet. After eating homemade food for last two months because of Covid we tried to dine out and visited Tabla. We ordered Tabla platter, Panner tikka, mango lassi, house salad, chocolate samosa! all of them were very tasty. Salad dressing is sweet, If you don't like it sweet make sure you let the waiter know. As an Indian, it's hard to get some good curry and naan (even harder to get South Indian). This relatively new place was amazing. You can tell they make everything fresh because it comes piping hot and just glistens with flavor! It is a little pricy, so come prepared. read more

We had the pleasure of experiencing both Tabla in Orlando (thank you, Richard!) and Winter Park. This place is by far one of the best Indian places we have been to. The chicken in all the dishes was so tender, and the Pad Thai was a unique version of the Thai dish that was quite good! We loved the tiki masala, cardamom korma, and pad Thai! The Chef should consider reviewing his dishes again because he's serving something for the name of something else. We ordered biryani expecting cardamon fragrance and a lot of whole spices, biryani masala and the sheer authencity but we instead got a vegetable pulao which was "enhanced" with little biryani masala after asking about it. The restaurant can fool the local non desis but it's a sheer disgrace to what they're serving in the name of dishes they have on their menu. Please think twice before ordering or even going. Unfortunately I'm forced to give a star else it deserves no stars. read more

This review is overdue but this is my favorite restaurant. I just moved from NYC to Orlando and finding Tabla has been a life saver. I have tried other Indian restaurants but this is by far the best quality, freshest, and just perfectly flavored. It is my favorite Indian restaurant even compared to my favorite restaurant back in NYC which had excellent Indian food. I love their paneer makhani and paneer tikka masala, both are absolutely delicious. I also love the dal Bukhara, Hakka noodles, the gobi manchurian is just perfect, and all of the vegetarian dishes. My husband eats meat and he has loved all of his dishes just as much. This is a staple restaurant for us and definitely the best Indian food in Orlando and best Chinese food. I've recommended this restaurant to all of my friends. I love eating in but until restaurants are open again I love getting take out. read more

This place is perfect if you're looking for something new, or if you're a seasoned Indian/Thai/Chinese diner, you really can't go wrong. The flavors and smells were overwhelming! We were doing some shopping at RH in Winter Park and got hungry. Tabla is on the North side on Park Ave where we were more easily able to park, so it was convenient for us to grab some food on our way back to our car. Since I know the owners and knew they were opening this location with a new chef, we wanted to try it and their new menu. I am happy to report that we were quickly seated. The service we received was very good. It was to cold to dine outside, so we were seated inside. The atmosphere inside was nice. We ate a variety of Indian and Thai. While I enjoyed all the flavors, choices, and fresh ingredients, I really enjoyed the fact that the chef will cook all their foods spicy, medium or mild. read more

Excellent service (which is hard to find in Winter Park). They have only been open for a few months, but service like they have been open for years. Everything we tried was delicious: chili paneer and Gobi Manchurian appetizers; we all shared entrees: butter chicken, orange sauce chicken, pad thai, and mango chicken entrees. Had dinner hear a few nights ago. We did not enjoy it. We each ordered our dishes with medium spice. Beware. Medium is a little overwhelming even though the 3 of us like spice. In addition, my chicken dish was served luke warm. Disappointing. It was a quite large portion that could have easily been shared, but I wasn't advised by the server. Hubs had a fish dish that was also heavy on the spice. Friend had the buttered chicken. Bland. You may wish to ask about the size of your meal when you order. And the server forgot the glass of wine one person ordered. Overall I think there are much more enjoyable options on Park Avenue. We won't be back. read more

A group of friends and I went out to eat on a Friday night, as it was the last day of school before vacation. When we arrived there we were seated promptly, and the waiter was really cordial. We did have to wait a long time to receive our food and check. I ended up ordering the Paneer Makhani, and was very dissatisfied. I found the flavors to be quite bland, and it was quite expensive for such a small portion. My friends ordered some of the non vegetarian options, but were also disappointed. However, the worst part was that the waiter refused to split the bill. We were not a large group, and the waiter would have only needed to split it 3 ways. We ended up having to go to an ATM to pay back one of friends. We will not be returning. If you are in the mood for some good Asian food, I would highly suggest going Bosphorus or Umi's. read more
