    Short rib pasta

Short rib pasta was lack luster. Felt a little nauseous after eating it. Just lacking flavor which is disappointing because it looked appealing when it was presented and the waiter recommended it. Service was good and the breakfast items might have me come back

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The menu offered plenty of great options, and everything we tried was delicious. Yes, the prices were a bit on the higher side, but it makes complete sense considering the location it's in a highly desired area and incredibly convenient. The quality of the food and the variety available absolutely justified the cost. I will say BE AWARE they already add a tip! Overall, a fantastic spot with great flavors and a solid selection. I'd definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for good food in a great location!

    Mahi piccata was spectacular

This very understated restaurant has incredibly good food. It can be reached from the street or inside the Club Quarters Hotel. We liked dinner so much, we decided to have breakfast there the next morning. For dinner we had the mahi piccata. It had the inventive twist of adding mushrooms and was served on a bed of wonderful, tasty pasta. And under shareable the crab cake. Which was one (Big) crab cake served on shredded greens with a remoulade sauce. I think it would make more sense to have made 4 to 6 smaller ones. But, boy was it good and I shared exactly one bite. The next morning they had tons of breakfast choices and ours were winners! Service and delivery to table were both exceptional, for both meals

Delicious espresso martinis are hard to come by but this place excelled at making them! My husband and I stopped by to have a drink and say at the bar. This is a small intimate restaurant nestled in the side of a hotel. Our waitress was very prompt and nice. She assumed I wanted a margarita which I thought was hilarious. I am such a stickler for espresso martini's. Sometimes they are made too warm for my liking but it was perfect. For my entree the Parmesan crusted chicken called to me. It was delicious, very flavorful. I wanted to order another. I would say this is a great place to grab a drink & bite after work or to have an intimate conversation. I would come back here.

It was a busy Sunday morning but we were seated promptly, our waitress was great and our host too, it was quite the busy morning and had no reservation but they were able to fit us in with no issues! We had our anniversary brunch and we loved EVERYTHING! We ordered the French toast plate which comes with eggs, sausage and potatoes, like yum!! My husband ordered eggs benedict and he loved them too. Thanks for making this a special occasion, I loved the decor and ambience

I came after Christmas and we were the only people ! So the food and everything was fast. We had coffee but it wasn't hot, I'm assuming because there wasn't any customers. The waitress was nice. The food tasted good. Nothing exceptional. They do not carry dairy free milk options such as almond, soy, etc. just half and half. The ambiance is okay. The kitchen is connected to the hotel.

Unfortunately, I HAVE to give this bistro just 3 stars. First, almost every single table had dirty dishes left on them. After finding a table, our server wiped it down advertantly leaving behind a wet, musty smell. I think the towel she used was dirty? Also, the food was basically thrown together and lacked real flavor. It did look like they were short-staffed so perhaps that's why our wait was so long, but that doesn't mean our server can't ask if we want our coffee refilled when she does come by. I also noticed a couple came in, sat down, waited for a server that never came so they got up and walked out. Yikes!

Absolutely wonderful blackened shrimp Carbonara. It was also my birthday today and the waiter was awesome....best song today! Carrot cake was fantastic as well....so full.

Cheese Grits Hone fried potatoes and bacon.

So I found this restaurant on best local breakfast. I had the A la carte bacon, cheese grits and home fried potatoes. The breakfast was hot and amazing. The flatware wasn't the cleanest, but the server was friendly. You can see the cook making your meal if you sit by the bar and the food came fast. It was quiet when I went but the area is calm and quiet.

It definitely feels like the perfect place for a special occasion, date night, or whenever you're looking for a more upscale dining experience. The food was absolutely incredible, and the drinks were just as impressive! We started off with the smoked and dressed oysters. I love oysters and these were so fresh and delicate. We also had the octopus for an appetizer and this was probably the best octopus I have ever tried at a restaurant. For main course I had the blue cheese ravioli ribs and the flavors really complimented one another with the fig. We also had the Duck dish and it was excellent. Apparently these sell so fast that people call ahead of time to reserve! Our wait staff was exceptional and very attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful without being overbearing. I ended up ordering based on several of their recommendations, and they did not steer me wrong! Everything they suggested was delicious. I will definitely come back to Bludorn!

As expected in most restaurants they don't serve wild caught fish...the salmon was not my fave but it was well prepared. We ordered creamer spinach. I ordered the chocolate cake and a decaf coffee to go with very very good. Our waiter was good and helpful amd provided useful recommendations for the menu. I found it cute that they give you a key to put up your leftovers at the end. Overall a good experience and a place i would come back to.

For appetizers, I highly recommend the yellowtail sashimi. I'm sorry I didn't post a picture - I was SO hungry. I literally ate it like candy. Speaking of candy, it has Pop Rocks on top of the yellowtail. See how I tied that in, kids? My friends (also Yelp Elite) and I decided to do everything family-style. Since it's Restaurant Week (really Restaurant Month), we ordered a bunch of appetizers. The blue crab hush puppies were my second favorite. I wasn't a huge fan of the heirloom tomato because the wheat bread was way too thick for my liking. I would have preferred sourdough. But let's be honest - the reason I come here is for the mac & cheese and steak. I got the steak flight, which is about $110, but it's worth every penny. The Wagyu literally cuts like butter. The sides are HUGE and easily shareable with four people, so keep that in mind when ordering. Unfortunately, my friend did not enjoy his swordfish. His exact words were, "It tastes like dried chicken." My wife ordered the salad and absolutely loved it. Once again, the portion was enormous. If I'm judging this place solely on the wine, steaks, sides, and atmosphere, it's an easy five stars. You just have to know what to order. I was definitely disappointed to hear about the fish, but everything else keeps bringing me back.

We went around 6 p.m. on a weekday, and they had a steady flow of business. It's a small restaurant with a small parking lot, but they do have an additional lot across the street. We were greeted right away and seated immediately. Our waiter was also tending the bar. He was incredibly friendly and working hard, but because he seemed to be juggling so much on his own, service was on the slower side. For the appetizer, we ordered the Crispy Fried Oysters & Brussels, and I got the redfish for my entrée. The Brussels sprouts were flash-fried perfectly, and I loved the sweetness of the chili honey glaze. The oysters had a nice crispy coating, but I found them to be a little bland. The redfish, though, was absolutely the star of the meal. I cleaned my plate. It was served with Hoppin' John and a lemon butter sauce. I had never heard of Hoppin' John before, but it's essentially a Southern rice-and-bean dish, and paired with that lemon butter, it was so flavorful. It complemented the fish perfectly.
