Do NOT go here! The cashier was not friendly whatsoever. The worker did not have her mask covering her nose and was hypocritical when telling customers in the lobby to cover their faces. There was yelling in the lobby toward other customers, and threats to "leave the store or you won't be served" when too many customers were inside. I felt scared. Screw me once...shame on you! Screw me twice and three times....I must be either stupid or crazy!!!! I have stopped at this Taco Bell/Kentucky Fried at least 3 times in the last year and a half. The first time was wait, wait, wait after my order was taken. And the wait was NOT worth it. Wrong food delivered and was cold. Now chicken left overs cold is ok like the next day or at a picnic but when it is just ordered and should be hot but is barely warm, there is something wrong. Second and third times (months apart from each other) were actually worse, if that can even happen!! The drive through is a joke at best with the extra long wait to order and then receive the food in what is traditionally supposed to be expedited service. Is that what the drive thru was intended for??? And getting the order correct is paramount to an act of GOD. Wrong food and drink each time. Do the workers here try to screw things up on purpose or does it come to them naturally??? Would make a person wonder!!! just exactly how many crackheads work here?!?! Does management or corporate give a damn about customer service or getting the order to their customers correct?? If there is one thing I can do for this franchise would be to tell as many people to stay as far away from this joke of a fast(as in fast like an iceberg melting in the month of January)food restaurant as humanly possible. At least by doing this for the franchise, it would keep the negative reviews down some. If I could give it a negative score it would be somewhere around minus any number past -1000. Do not go to this Taco Bell you will be in line for 45 minutes to order in another 25 minutes to get your food and then your order will be wrong and cold. I have been to this Taco Bell numerous times thinking it would get better but it never does. I wented to order Kentucky fried chicken and they told me it would take 30 minutes to Cook the chicken. there completely out you think they would be dropping chicken before it got that far. I've been patient with these guys but after tonight I've gotta let it be known. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!! I pulled up with ONE car ordering in front of me, I get up to order and have to wait through 2 songs... I order 3 burritos ams that's it... Takes me a half hour to get to the window! The person didn't even have my order right, so I get the manager and ask what's up. She says "I'm having to train new people on making food" I said "really? It takes 30 minutes for one small bag in front of me and 3 ground beef burritos? I've WORKED at a Taco Bell when I was a kid, nothing in that place takes more than 6 minutes to cook or prep, they're ran by complete idiots. I am writing this review about 20 minutes in to waiting for our food. Several customers have come inside to complain about the wait time in the drive thru. The staff have been flippant and unapologetic. The dining room is DISGUSTING - food everywhere (tables, floors, etc.). I get it - who wants to work at a Taco Bell / KFC? Nobody. Whoever manages this place needs to step in & train the staff, otherwise I have no doubt that it will be closed by the health inspector. read more

The wait is unbelievable. I placed an order for 3 crunchy tacos and canceled the order after waiting 20 minutes. Others ahead of me were waiting even longer. When I received the refund I was told that they were short handed but the owner would not allow overtime. I guess the owner doesn't know or care that he is operating a FAST FOOD RESTAURANT!!!. KFC and taco-bell close at different times but occupy the same kitchen. Taco-bell was out of two different items we tried to order. If I could give a negative 5 stars I would. I stopped at this Taco Bell in brookings Or and for the second time it took forever. I ordered give nacho fries and it took well over 45 mins. Many people that were there before me were waiting a hour if not longer. The cashier said it was due to four people not showing up to work but the people that were working didn't seem to really care as they were very slow. This is the second time this has happened . I ended up telling a high group that came in that they might want to go else where because they were taking forever. Wouldn't let me post without giving a star. read more

I was referred to this place by my roommate when I said I wanted some authentic Mexican cuisine. We left our apartment at sunset, I entered the establishment, now I'm no Mexican but the stuff on the menu was legit. There were things I've never heard of before. I ordered two quesaritos, and a Dorito Loco Taco. I got my large cup and went to the fountain machine, I filled my cup to the top with ice then watched it melt away with flavor as I added the Mountain Dew. Then everything went downhill, I tasted my supposedly refreshing rips taste of the lemon lime beverage, it was flat and tasted like tonic water. My body went into fight or flight, I jumped away from the possessed cup and ran to the other side of the restaurant. I didn't know if I should call for help or call my therapist. After several minutes of uncontrollable sobbing in the corner I regained control of myself and sat back down at my table. My roommate all the while was recording laughing at me, mocking me. Finally, after a 20 minute wait our food was ready. I refused to believe it could be worse than the drink, I was so young and innocent to believe this. I grabbed my quesarito firmly, and with all the strength I had left I took a bite, what follows next is a series of visits to my therapist as well as getting my stomach pumped 3 times. However despite all of this one night I woke up at 3am craving a quesarito. Now obviously this means there is crack cocaine in the food, so I knew better now not to go back, and to never forget. Food is pretty good, but if you want chicken good luck. It's seems like every time we go there They are out of either chrispy or original. Then they want to substitute it for something else. First off I'd want to say Taco Bell is my go to place, I'd eat here everyday if I could. Secondly, I never write reviews for places, with that being said, I cannot believe what I'm witnessing at the Brookings Taco Bell.. it is undoubtably the slowest fast food place I've EVER been to and I've eaten at them all of the country. There are people standing all over the dinning area waiting for their food, the dive thru is 10 cars deep and no one has moved in 10 min. Inside there is one or two people actually putting food together while the other 9 employees continue to take orders, walk around doing nothing or pretending to restock the sauce containers behind the counter. Meanwhile over where costumers get their sauce the pop machine and the napkin dispensers look like they've just thrown up all over EVERYWHERE. Costumers standing around complaining right and left talking about sitting in the drive thru for 30 min.
