This is another one of those combination KFC and Taco Bell locations. I was starved for food, any food, when I wandered by this restaurant one weeknight evening. Since I've lived in the area during the past two years I think I've eaten here twice. The food is as you expect for fast food. Whether I order original recipe or extra crispy makes no difference because I throw out the skin and the battered portion anyway. The chicken is always hot and super greasy. Their small portions of mashed potatoes are always gutted with gravy, and their biscuits are so dry you can actually choke on it. I do have a liking for their cole slaw however, and the fact that they don't bug me about refilling my cold beverage earns them the second star. They also have a drive through window which is a big plus because you really don't want to be walking around this part of town once it gets dark. read more

Probably the best Taco Bell/KFC joint that I've been to thus far. The guy behind the counter John, is super-friendly and joked around with me for a while about my fruitista freeze. It only happened once, oh but it was a memorable 'once' and sometimes, that's all you need. The place is super-clean and the staff behind the counter are always friendly. You know how sometimes you go to a fast food place or what-have-you and the cashier and everyone there are either scowling or giving you an attitude? This location is a bit pricier than in commercials so be careful if you're bringing exact change expecting a modest price. The floor can get really sticky after a large rush near the counter so be careful not to step on any stains. The food here is consistent with the other locations. I really wish the tacos were a bit cheaper. Even the box of 12 tacos can fetch you up to 15 bucks. Yikes! This place tends to get busy after school hours. Because of that, they have a switch underneath the cash registers that block off any drink to be dispensed from the soda fountain because kids always ask for water cups and end up filling it with soda. It gets kind of annoying when I have to ask them to activate the fountain, but I can relate to their position on this decision. read more

I used to thought the fried chicken here was pretty decent until i had Popeyes recently. Popeyes has way better chicken than this place. The Chicken here is so oily and greasy. It is like i am drinking oil. Never been a big fan of KFC, i barely come here and i dislike it even more after trying Popeyes. The only thing i would probably get here is hot wings. This is one of the most consistent Taco Bells I've gone to. Everything is always made well; chalupas are filled full and taco shells are unbroken. Bonus that it's a KFC too... mixing and matching is underrated. This is pretty much always the location I choose even though there's a closer one to me, and it's mostly due to the quality difference. 3.5 stars. This location is busy most of the day and the clientele is a little sketchy. Unlike the one in the Inner Sunset, where the weirdos are usually outside, here they are generally found indoors. Almost certainly when you stop by here you will see someone or something (or a mixture of both) that makes you say: "Hmm, you don't see that every day ... well, YOU WISH YOU DIDN'T." Considering how busy these guys are, the service is good. The staff is unfailingly polite (I can't imagine what kind of mind control drugs are required to accomplish this feat, but I wish they were approved for use on MUNI drivers and grumpy vegans). I have visited Taco Bell stores occasionally for more years than I care to admit (and perhaps not proud of) but will admit to holding an interest in YUM! brands, the parent company. I like to check out whats going on in their stores. At least that gives me a justification for those Taco Bell hunger pangs. Serving up the standard Taco Bell fare, the order takers/cashiers are nice and efficient (some more than others, with some that could pass as a robot). The reliable/consistent Taco Bell fare does not disappoint, since expectation has been set. A creature of habit, the taco supreme / burrito supreme combo is my missionary position lunch. read more

Wow, something happened to this Taco Bell, in a good way! I normally don't eat fast food but TB is my one secret splurge, and I've been to every one of them in the Bay Area. Many are dismal! This one, though, has been given a new life it seems! The place is clean, and there are cheerful adults (not sullen teens) working there who chat with you and remember your name - what? At a fast food joint? Yep. And not that I care much about sports, but they've got it decorated up with local sports stuff which gives it the feel of a neighborhood place, not just a franchise. There's a nearby Popeye's near my house, so its been a while since I have been to KFC...really. So when I asked TB if he wants to go to lunch, he said he might go to KFC since there is one near his project (work). Fried chicken, who would say no to that. So I hopped on Bart and when I exited..there he is my "Beast"...my TB...in his charriot...awaits...I was invited to seriously hop in and take a ride in his monstrous truck...and of to KFC we went. The one who got our order looks like he's the Manager, pleasant and efficient enough. Me and TB are pretty much low-maintenance when it comes to eating. NOM NOM NOM! My usual used to be the beefy 5-layer burrito (combo), then the beefy crunch burrito but now it's definitely the crunchwrap supreme! So much noms. I know I'm supposed to feel guilty because it's fast food but god it just tastes so good. It gets pretty crowded sometimes but I've been lucky enough the past couple times that there were only a couple in front of me or that a huge line would form almost immediately after I lined up, haha. Excellent service from the staff. I've never had them yell at me or anything. They're always patient in taking my order and I love that they give you the coupons back to use again. It's OK. U can get full from this for a relatively cheap price. The quality is OK too, but sometimes it lacks due to rushing. It isn't consistently good, so I give it 3 stars. And sometimes they go overboard with the fried skin to meat ratio. Great customer service, though. :) read more

I'm fat and I couldn't help but want KFC. I haven't had KFC in years and there's probably a reason why I don't order nor come here. I guess I came during dinner peak hours and the staff couldn't handle the rush. Had them scream at consumers to form a line, to go this way and that way etc etc... it was just to hectic for me. When it was my turn to order from the manager who was working the cashier, she stated they were out of wings, breast, regular, spicy crispy?! etc WTH?! I had to settle for something else. My order also came out wrong, I only ordered for two MANAGER, not for a family of 6. SMH! When I tried to explain to the lady who gave me my food that my order was wrong. She gave me attitude and was extremely rude. Ultimately in the end, we figured it out,. but I didn't like how she tossed all my food in the bag like garbage. 3 boxes, you should stack them on top of each other right?! She just threw em in,. one upside down (mash potatoes HELLO),. the other one side ways,. LIKE REALLY?! Learning how to bag food is the first thing that is taught in this line of business. First I'd like to say. I'm a long time Taco Bell lover and committed customer. I take Taco Bell over any other fast food. We don't have it a lot in our city. Whenever I see it, I go there. -Star: Unfortunately today I got disappointed with one of your staff member. I never ask anything rocket science. However a simple math would suffice. When ordered T3+1 taco is Four tacos total. Not six tacos, not four T3's. Sadly the guy (Vincent?) struggled to comprehend a simple math. I expect Taco Bell would set some sort of base school education for their hires. Maybe it is a one off experience but a disappointing one. Also.. -2nd Star: bathroom locks aren't working. For fast food, their staff is always super friendly. It's just unreal to have a fast food joint with such a high degree of friendliness. It's a KFC/Taco Bell, so there's not much benefit going into a discussion of their food because if you've been to KFC or Taco Bell, you've had their food, but the rest of the restaurant is clean and even has parking, practically unheard of in SF. The only con is there can be a line around dinner rush, but most restaurants have lags during this time. read more

If I could give 0 STARS I would. We come here all the time but they always give us a meat order when we ask for vegetarian. Don't trust their drive through and always check ur meal or you will have to come back to return it. We ordered online and they didn't even see our order so we had to go in. I don't usually leave receives but they have messed up our order to many times. The food is as good as any Taco Bell's should be. read more

The cute gal at the counter was so polite and I ordered the popcorn nuggets and it was like a 5 minute wait but that's totally fine because I love fresh nugs. This KFC isn't ghetto at all. I think the manager doesn't just hire anybody. He hires people with manners. The other Taco Bells and KFC's, the workers are rude. Don't go to the one on Polk cause the people who work there are ghetto, and alot of smelly homeless people eat there, then beg for change when you leave the place..... read more

This is a drive thru and eat in spot. They serve Taco Bell and KFC. The attendats are super nice and courteous. They treat you as if it were a high end restaurant. The only thing I disliked was the location. Good service. read more

my bf, our roommate&i would rarely come here. most of the time when we do eat inside it is as you except of a kfc/taco bell, not too enjoyable but the food fills you up. however, today was the worst experience i have ever had anywhere! we went in wanting something cheap, filling&a lot of. so my bf ordered the grande meal but instead of hard tacos, soft tacos&bean burritos we wanted just soft tacos&bean burritos. my bf told the girl (dont know her name but she was wearing glasses with curly hair) that instead of the hard tacos he wanted soft tacos, so half soft tacos and half burritos. she ignored him&told her manager all soft tacos. here is what actually happened: 1st try: received the bag&it was all soft tacos. we told the manager&he apologized&told the girl who took our order to go home. my bf then told our roommate that our order got the cashier sent home. 2nd try: we got to the car& my bf inspects the bags &we find 4 soft tacos &5 dorito tacos. my bf asks us if he should go inside to get this fixed &i reply yes! if they mess it up again i demand our money back because of how much time we spent waiting for our order being fixed. 3rd time: the manager apologized for the misunderstanding, we waited& a different employee came up with our food &apparently our refund. we finally received our food of 4 soft tacos&5 burritos. we didnt even bother with the remaining taco because we just wanted to go home. so we spent roughly 30-35 minutes waiting for our food. although our food ended up being free&our money refunded it was wasted time than we didnt need. lesson from all this: make sure the girl in the glasses&curly hair doesnt take your order. you will waste hella time! read more

Dirty water, floor, seat, table, bathroom, terrible service, the bathroom is locked and it requires a bathroom token. When I say dirty I mean crumbs and scraps all over the place including the tables especially the seat. I still remember that time when I sat on some liquid at this KFC and I do not recommend this. read more

Friendly employees however the tostada i ordered was HORRIBLE! The shell tasted like it was OLD, OLD, OLD. It had a shelved after taste that i can't get rid of. I've tried drinking a beverage. It is the worst taste and feeling. I want to make my self throw up just to get it out of my system. I also ordered a Chicken pot pie. It was good but it was half way filled with the pot pie ingredients as if they ran out of the filling but just decided to make a pot pie out of it anyway.
