This is the best TB location I've been to! It's remodeled, super clean and everyone is very pleasant. The manager is Joy and she always remembers us. They rarely mess up my order, which is normal for most fast food joints. If they mess up, we usually get something extra or the next size up on the freezie. My kids loved the black cherry Freezie. Allow me to tell you a story... It all started on a Friday night around 6:30pm. I was called upon to purchase food so I stumbled across a Taco Bell. I walked through the door, expecting to get in and out. Hence the name (fast food). When it became my turn to request my order, I was greeted with a "hi." Odd, but I continued. After purchasing my food, I noticed a few things. Typically, employees work and not conversate about personal life matters or joke around about unrelated topics on the job. Seemed a bit strange when the young employee burned herself and screamed then laughed like some sort of enraged but also amused baboon. The same individual continued this irate behavior as she unappealingly poured the bag of mush (taco meat) into the work station. Out of the three total employees, only one continued on task and cranked out orders. He stayed quiet and had his eyes glued to his work. He seemed a bit 'ticked off' at his fellow co-workers goofing off and cracking jokes. I commend you my friend. At this point, I have been waiting for my food for a total of 15 minutes. There were two customers and maybe one in the drive through. I made eye contact with the a fellow customer who had ordered before me. We both had that look of "lol wth" on our faces as we turned back to the cheap labor staff laughing and thinking out loud, describing each order like keeping things in thought wasn't cool. Eventually, I did receive my food. And when I picked it up, I was given a hearty farewell something like "sorry for the wait luv. Enjoy your food" Needless to say, I will not be coming back for obvious reasons. You may be asking.... Why 3 stars for such a bad experience?!? To answer this simply and to the point, my grilled stuff burrito tasted pretty out of this world. Thank you Taco Bell San Gabriel owner for providing your staff with such great customer service skills. Cheap labor or not, most people have common sense. Been coming here on and off due to reconstruction. Since it is next to my old high school, decided to pay a visit. Hooked on the Cantina Bowl (Chicken,Steak and Veggie) for $4.79 and 4.99...extremely delicious and cheap. Beware, you will be addicted, I love it, the kids love it, and my sister who hates fast food loves it. There is the citrus marined chicken, flavorful black beans, hass avocados, creamy cilantro dressing, and some latin rice all inside. Happy hour starts at 2pm-5pm everyday! You get the Loaded potato, beefy nacho, spicy buffalo chicken grillers or any medium drink for $1 each! What a deal. and also very friendly staff, def worth the wait for the food. Why is this taco bell way better than others? Because of worker appreciation! Every time I visit, they are always smiling and happy. I should apply to work here one day to see for myself. read more

This place use to be pretty good but now they got new employees. The new employees don't care about keeping their food hot for their customers. I ordered a beef combo burrito and noticed the beef isn't even hot or warm. The beans and beef were cold. It was super nasty! I use to work at a fast food restaurant so I have an idea of why the food was cold. They were closing in an hour so I'm betting the workers started cleaning early and found ways to store the food outside of those metal containers that keep the food hot. They probably placed all the food in paper plates or something. That way, when they close they don't have anything to clean. It's what really lazy workers do. Sad... I would have never thought that I would Yelp a fast food chain, but here it is. First off, Taco Bell is Taco Bell, so you know the food. What makes this TB shine is their service, when you pull up at drive thru, they sound happy and energetic. As you pull up to pay, they ask you how your day was again and ask how many sauce you would like with your meal! WHO does that? Some other cheap ass fast food joints gives you a maximum of sauces and makes you pay for extras. As you pull away, they wish you a good night. I came in this taco bell drive through. I asked if they can make the fries fresh and I dont mind waiting. The girl that took my order said there was fresh fries. So I proceeded with the order. Next thing you know they tell me to park in the parking lot. I decide to walk in changing my mind on going to eat inside. Vanessa the manager told me I had to wait 20 minutes, when initially they told me there was fresh fries. That is very unprofessional. Vanessa the manager did not want to give me a free meal with my money back. I have been here for 30 minutes so far. If they would have not told me there was fresh fries I would have not ordered it. Point being they made me wait 25 minutes and did not want to return my money with food. That is ridiculous being a good customer at taco bell for so long. Vanessa should not be the manager if she makes a great customer wait 20 minutes for fries, when they said it was ready when I ordered it. She never told me that the wait was going to be 20 minutes too!! Pretty much they lied! read more

Taco Bell the american fast food imatation of mexican food, oh i kid, I like taco bell the seasoning and meat are really good even though the speculation of it. The price is basic fastfood drivethru sort of stuff. You have of course the dollar menu in which I frequent but then you leave the cheap dollar tacos and it starts to get expensive it jumps from $1 to $6, LIKE THAT. Its basically the food you eat when you dont want to cook or when your having friends over. The service in drive thru is quite prompt but i have had problems with them understanding my order ( on more than one occasion), the dining room however is the exact opposite, they always get my order right but it takes much longer than it should to assemble 3 basic tacos. Altogether ill probably continue to patronize as im to lazy to cook and its less than a mile away. read more
