Oh my, absolute chaos is putting a very positive spin on the situation they have going on here. Walking in it was spacious, clean, bright colors and an ocean of seating with plenty of booths. We were recommend to try this place for the menudo and after a night of partying our heads and expectations were low. We ordered, we were given a sign with a number on it for our table. While we were just short of waiting an eternity we had been criticizing another family who was clearly upset and complaining about everything the staff brought to them, well karma slapped us hard cause nothing was right! Wrong tortillas, wrong soup, twice they brought somebody else food to our table.....we all have numbered signs, but they were so lost. The kitchen makes dishes at random, orders are dropped off in parts causing mass confusion. We did get my sopes , they were nothing to brag on and we ate only 1 between the 2 of us. We were giving a refund on the menudo that never came and they added a lecture that we we're being unreasonable for not wanting to wait another 15 minutes for the kitchen to make it. 1 hour, 1 sope that was edible. Great folks and the food tasted good, but had massive food poisoning shortly after dinner. Spent the next couple hours sitting on my bathroom floor. We went around 8pm and the place was pretty dirty by then. Could have been from a cook with dirty hands, one of the servers handling both money and food, or a spoiled ingredient. I have not visited this establishment for a while, I must say it has fallen a few rungs down the latter. The quality of food was not as good as prior visits and the quantity has seemed to gone down as well. The thing that really got me were the the chairs that were up on the tables in 2/3 of the restaurant over an hour prior to closing, this shouts "hey customer get the f**k out, I want to leave," the blaring mariachi music so loud that I could not have a normal conversation with the person I was with. Things I like about this place (other than the good food): Portion size are huge. I can usually get two meals out of every order. It opens early to cater the breakfast crowd, but it offers full menu all day. Quick service. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table. No mass, no fuss. It's budget friendly. The people are cheery and nice too. I have liked everything I've eaten here: burritos, quesadillas, nachos, breakfast burritos, and salads. My child likes their fries. The last batch of chips we got arrived crispy, hot, and salty in a brown paper bag. We enjoy the chicken, al pastor, and carnitas. I admit I have not tried the beef. But others have and enjoyed it. The torta al pastor add cheese is my favorite quick lunch. With both red and green sauce drizzled on between bites. Don't ya'll tell me about my arteries. It's a once a month treat. There's lettuce on it. So, um, it's health food. Lol. Try this place. We like it. Even Princess who frustratingly turns her teenaged nose up often gives it two thumbs up. Score. read more

I have eaten here so many times I cannot begin to count them. But I can count how many times it has been anything but outstanding~ ZIP, NEVER, NOT AT ALL, ZERO. I love this place. They don't even make a mixed drink, but I love them anyway. It's that good. I love their red & green salsa, the efficient & friendly service, and their food - it is all good. And I mean ALL - their sauces are flavorful, the meat is tender, the veggies are fresh and there is definitely love in the food. I could go on and on - they obviously care what kind of joint they run - everything is orderly and I look forward to returning before I have even left. One of my favorite dinners (and a heckuva deal at under ten dollars) is the Ranchero Steak - the meat is tender, the spiciness of the sauce is just right, the fresh cut tomatoes add just the right amount of slightly sweetness to make it hard to order other things. (But I manage). Nachos - yes. Breakfasts? Yes! Meat - the spicy pork (pastor) is soooo yummy I am drooling just typing it down. My husband is a die hard Coke fan & loves to enjoy the food as much as I do and he gets to enjoy a icy cold glass bottle of his favorite beverage when we go. Sure, we've tried the other Mexican places (we live in Tigard, so there are a butt ton of them along 99) but they really don't hold a candle to this. This is our second time in. In regards to the food, all I can talk to are the Killer carne asada tacos. I thought about getting something different, but why mess with something you know is great. The are the small street taco size with two tortillas and salsa on top. This time we are in and they have three kinds of salsa sauce at the table along with Tapatio. There is also a small salsa type bar ( I included a pic). The eating area is fine and what I would expect. It's clean and the employees are friendly. I'd recommend this place to friends. read more

There are many choices for Mexican food in Tigard. This should NOT be one of yours anytime in the near future. Obviously they just gave all of their workers a huge raise as nothing more than greed could explain the ridiculously high prices for their below average food. Two rolled taquitos and dollops of sour cream and guacamole are priced amazingly just under $5 but the quesadilla hits just below $8. There is no justification for charging so much $$ for two simple ingredient food items but this restaurant is really gouging it's patrons!!! And the quality is not equal to the price. I have recently discovered Taco Del Sol thanks to Postmates! After trying them on Postmates, I ventured over to their location. They are conveniently located off HWY 99, which makes them an easy & quick place to drop by. The prices are fabulous. While they do have a drive-thru - the wait time is decent, but they have a sign letting you know you probably will be waiting for a hot second. I would recommend trying them out on Taco Tuesday! I have tried the Chicken, Carnitas, and Carna Asda tacos.. and wow they are all SO good. The green salsa is superb. Two to three tacos is usually enough for me. Don't get me started on the tostadas..yumm!!! I have heard great things about their breakfast burritos and that will be next on my list to try!! read more
