We just ate there for the first time and definitely will be back. The crispy beef tacos were perfect. Their rice is cooked just right and the beans...oh the beans. Definitely homemade with a hint of jalapeño. Just tried the breakfast burrito number 21 and crispy taco with a horchata and gotta say i'm very impressed. The taco was really good, actually one of the best crispy tacos i think ive ever had. My favorite Mexican food for 2 years and today they lost me as a customer. I have been going there about once a week for the past year, about twice a month I order 3 Crispy Tacos with Carne Asada. The menu only has ground beef or chicken but they always substituted the meat for me in the past and have never questioned me. Today I order the same, they told me sorry, only beef or chicken. I explained that I always order it so she said ok, I'll tell the cook. I get to the window and paid and as she is handing my food over I noticed my receipt and I got charged double. I told her that's not right. The manager came over and told me that she is there every single day and they have never made me crispy tacos with carne asada and that she has to charge me 4.99 each. SO NOW I'M A LIAR! WTF! I got a refund and left them with their tacos. So now they wasted food AND lost a customer for life. read more

The tacos had so much flavor and I liked that they put a lot of onions and cilantro to keep it tasty. Also they give you a jalapeño on the side to spice up your tacos. Stopped by the drive-thru for an order of 5 chicken rolled tacos (taquitos). Came to about $7 with added guacamole. Rolled tacos were fresh and crispy. The chicken filling wasn't very flavorful. Only the cheese and sour cream really added flavor to the rolled tacos. What about the guacamole you ask? Whatever they put on my rolled tacos to try and make it pass for guacamole was anything but. And lettuce on rolled tacos? Lettuce only serves to soggy up crispy rolled tacos. I should have just asked not to add the lettuce. Anyway, average at best for first impressions of the food. Taco Express in Fairfield, CA I had a reaction to their food. Some blood started coming out of my rectum. If they really did tamper with my food, jail time for sure. Never had an issue like this ever (bloody rectum) and after eating their food I started having issues. I had bad gas and jokingly thought to myself I think my organs are rotting inside because my gas was so bad. Then I started to have the issues of blood later and then seriously questioned did they put some type of chemical in my burrito or sauce? I really enjoy their food, but I have an allergy to avocado. We will tell them no avocado and I would get home to find out it was in there. Today takes the cake though... My husband ordered us hot cheeto burritos one with avocado and one without. They at least got that right, but as mine was labeled as no guacamole I took a bite and there was all the guacamole.
