    Shredded beef tacos
    Meghan B.

The taco Tuesday special is so good here. The crunchy tacos are cali Mexican fast food style and the crunch is so good! We tried all three- shredded beef, ground beef, and chicken. The chicken is the best by far. Perfectly seasoned/simmered chicken with lettuce and cheese, 10/10. The shredded beef ones are also really good but have half the amount of meat as the chicken. Ground beef was my least fave, the seasoning was off but lots of meat tho. We also got a piña agua Fresca and it was decent. The service was fine but we asked for extra salsa verde at the microphone and again at the window, but they still forgot it. We'll def be coming more often now for the chicken tacos.

    1.50 taco Tuesday!!
    Sarah W.

This place is amazing! It used to be a KFC and taco express took it over. I was wary of another new taco joint but they 100% proved me wrong. Their food is actually extremely yummy (all of it is good, but even simple like just a taco is perfect). Their staff is extremely kind, both in the drive thru and dining area. It's a really simple establishment but don't let it fool you... These guys even went out fo their way to help get a bday cake ready for another kiddos party when we were there. Highly recommended. Don't forget to go on taco Tuesday! They are only 1.50 and sooo good... I don't always eat much and could polish off three

    Burrito bowl with Asada
    Robert F.

The prices on the menu board do not reflect what you pay. Came in for a burrito bowl through drive thru and was charged more than what was posted. The burrito bowl was mediocre, the bowl itself was only about 1/4 to almost 1/2" deep so more like a plate, one of my friends said the meat looked like cat food. The asada was dry with no flavor, there was absolutely no rice that was supposed to be includes The lettuce was stale, the beans definitely tasted like canned. The only thing good was the pico de gallo. Will not be returning.

Sad excuse for a chicken taco. Soggy and split open

We have been getting 20-25 tacos every Tuesday for the family and usually they are decent. For $1.50 they were fine and did the trick. Tonight we ordered the same as usual and it was terrible. The meat had no flavor. Half the taco shells were broken into pieces and the ones that weren't were soggy. I ended up tossing most of them in the trash. I have actually recommended this place to friends since their Tuesday special made it a decent deal, especially with prices lately going up. No more taco Tuesday specials for us from Taco Express!

Combo #5 -Cheese enchilada, beef taco, rice and beans.

I drove by each day on way to work and saw construction workers and got excited when it finally opened. I stopped on Friday night as I saw a lot of cars in the drive thru. I ended up ordering the #5 (beef taco, cheese enchilada, rice, beans). My husband ordered a regular asada burrito with no onions. I get home, open it up and it looks just like Adalbertos. I'm hoping it tastes better but it is just that same bland taste and red enchilada sauce. The asada burrito had mostly beans and rice. He got halfway through before he hit meat. For both of us it was $29 with no drinks. I hoped it would be better but I don't think I will be returning.

Pozole & burrito I can't say enough good things about this place! The food is absolutely authentic and full of flavor

Ordered asada street tacos. The meat had no flavor. You could tell by the color of the asada that it wouldn't be great.

They have plenty of seating for small to large parties and even have seats up at the bar. It's got a small town cafe feel to it and I love it. I usually get the BLT sandwich with a side of fruit an an iced tea. Their BLT has to be my favorite because they load it up with bacon! I can't stand when you get a BLT and it lacks bacon, that surely is not the case here. My best friend loves to get their over medium eggs; the yolks are flawless, hash brown with cheese and toast. My other friend is a huge fan of their banana nut bread, it's a delectable breakfast item that feels more like a dessert and is dangerously addictive. I can't say enough positive things about this establishment, I will for sure be back again and again when in the area. There are plenty of other options. Please give them a visit and let them know what you think!

Some plates were worth it, others weren't, and at the prices they're charging the gaps were hard to ignore. The appetizers were the highlight of the meal. The deviled eggs were a hit at the table and went fast. The jalapeño on each one was a nice touch, though the heat varied depending on which egg you grabbed since it was just a thin slice. The salmon cakes were solid, nothing to complain about. My mom's ceviche tostada was loaded, the avocado was generous and fresh, but the ceviche itself lacked the acidity you expect from the dish and had very little shrimp in it. She said it felt more like a lunch item than a dinner offering, though two of them were filling. My mom's friend had the steak frites, which was the standout plate of the night: a lean cut with a rich mushroom béchamel, well cooked, and the frites were fried rather than what you might expect, but the flavor delivered. My dad's spinach salad was underwhelming, overdressed with a balsamic that was too sharp and overpowered everything else. My ribeye was the disappointment. At $65 I expected better. It was thin, closer to pounded than what you'd expect from the cut, came out medium instead of medium rare, and didn't feel substantial for the price. The baked potato was a basic side, sour cream and onion, nothing more. The broccolini arrived at room temperature, borderline cold, which was unexpected. The au jus on the side didn't add much for me. Service was attentive but veered into overdone territory, the kind of performative politeness that signals they want a good tip more than they're genuinely being warm. It was noticeable. Also worth knowing: if you're seated near the windows, the afternoon sun can be blinding depending on when you go. The atmosphere is genuinely nice and this place works better as a brunch spot than a special occasion dinner destination. I've had better meals here before, which is why I know they can do better. One practical note: if you're parking in the disabled spots near the leasing center next door, the sidewalk doesn't connect to the restaurant entrance. You'll need to go through the parking lot to get there.

Aaliyah greeted us as soon as we walked in and directed us towards our table. Coincidentally, she was also our server. It was like we knew her for years. Aaliyah was friendly and attentive. We started with the mimosa flights. We couldn't decide on flavors, however, Aaliyah picked a variety of flavors for us, so we were covered. The food came out hot! I had the meat lover skillet with eggs over-easy. The eggs were cooked perfect. The warm yolk added to the flavorful meat and smothered potatoes. René had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was juicy and tender. Next time we'll ask for a side of sauce because it's so good that we needed more than provided, at least for us. One thing we noticed was that every customer was happy. Maybe the other customers were regulars there but this was our first time and we were treated like we were regulars. I think it just says something about the attention to customer service. Toward the end of our visit, "B" one of Sheila's daughters, came out to check on us. Again, it was like talking to a long time friend. Well, it turns out Sheila B'Z is a family business - - everyone working was family, including those working the food truck at an event today. I love that. We will totally be back!

The sandwich was thick with the juiciest chicken. I loved the garlic fries. They were super garlicky with a crispy cheese on top. The fries are thin and crinkle cut. They were the perfect mix of crispy yet juicy. One thing to note, if you order for pickup, make sure to arrive promptly because the food can get pretty soggy otherwise. The side sauce was pretty good too. I wish there was an online substitution option though because I'd prefer something like ranch instead. This spot's prices are a touch higher compared to restaurants in the area but the quality and portions really justify it. The employees are incredibly kind. When I stopped by to pickup my order, there was an employee cleaning the outside patio who immediately stopped what she was doing to open the door for me, went inside and washed her hands before even handing me the bag. The small details like this really make the experience so much better. It is especially reassuring to see how sanitary they are here too. Despite looking a bit small from the outside, it it quite spacious and modern inside. It has that modern hipster restaurant feel. On a warm day, it would be nice to sit under their covered patio. I will be returning to try more of their menu!
