Went to Taco Mac in Dawsonville with my daughter after her graduation because she had a coupon for a free appetizer, and the whole experience was awful. We ordered the trio dip and the cheese dip was literally cold. We also got chicken tacos and brisket tacos. While I was eating my brisket taco and dipping it in the salsa, my daughter noticed a hair in it. I pulled it out myself and it was a white and brown beard hair. Completely disgusting. I told the manager and he acted concerned at first, but then set my food right back down in front of me before realizing the hair was still sitting there. He said he would take it off the ticket, but when we got the bill, the tacos with the hair in the salsa were STILL on the check. After finding a beard hair in my food, why would I want replacement food? At that point I was grossed out wondering how many hairs I may have already eaten. Very disappointing experience, poor food quality, and poor handling of the situation by management. read more

We ordered a wedge salad and about 1/3 of it was brown lettuce. The bacon looked raw. Boneless wings were cold and dry. The jalapeño egg rolls also had undercooked bacon. They did offer a free meal, which was appreciated. We got the burger and sweet potato fries. Burger was great but the sweet potato fries were very undercooked and mushy. Management was great, but will most likely not be back. We know they are busy on a Friday night, but if you can't put out quality food, what's the point? read more

A place called Taco Mac? Hey, I do like tacos but this place is all about the buffalo wings...just look at the logo. Four of us were seated at a booth below some big TV monitors that were also placed all around the Hall of a dining area. Our server was Annelise and she was helpful in getting our orders in and dishes removed. Not familiar with the menu we took some time reading the WINGS and tacos section. We had a Double of the original with sweet ginger and garlic parmesan and BBQ and dry Lemon Pepper which was my favorite. We also did a 10 T with a side of Mac N' Cheese.. so 30 wings altogether went quickly as the wings are a bit on the young chicken size. No matter, the garden salads and sides of vegies were fresh and lots of good greens. We were not told of the Tuesday Taco special until we saw the ad. We asked and Yes, two orders of Tuesday Tacos please; one order with shrimp and the other with smoked Brisket. The taco dishes came well presented but we were surprised to notice the use of flour tortilla. Taco Mac had desserts and when in Georgia, we must have the beignets with Peaches and Cream. This was a good sweet dessert and made up for the surprises of a first time visit to a Taco place that served Buffalo Wings as its main purpose. read more

Disappointed with the Philly Egg rolls, I don't think they would've been served inside. Overcooked w/ no dip. To-go boxes are not ideal for keeping food warm/fresh with holes in the boxes. We may order again but will choose other items. read more

We came to taco Mac and we're seated right away. After ordering drinks we placed our food order and it took an entire hour. This is my Philly cheesesteak. Looks like they made it and stepped on it before putting it on the plate, it was disgusting. Waitress was very understanding and did not make me pay for it, but this should have never made it to the table to begin with. This isn't my first bad experience at this taco mac location, last time I came I got the steak tacos and they messed it up 3 times in a row- the manager came over and took care of it. The Philly cheesesteak was my last straw- I won't be coming here ever again! I gave it 2 stars only because the waitress was very nice. read more

There are plenty of servers on the floor almost to many to count. Waiting for my appetizers seems to be taking a long time. Ordered the new Philly cheese egg rolls. I ate them so quickly I forgot to take a picture. They arrive hot like right out of the basket with a store made sauce which was wonderful. We'll worth the wait did not disappoint that is for certain order 20 wings special tonight half price can not go wrong. Hit the Sweet Chili Sesame sauce a little sting but not bad. Not sure why this place exists. It's basically a BW3 with a different facade, but the same set up, the same overpriced food, and the same lame service. Wings were meh, salads were good, tacos were okay. All were overpriced. Tons of TVs, but the service was lacking and the host was oblivious to sports, and what games were on. One word - disgusting! I won't come back to this location. Brisket sandwich tasted like absolute trash and I immediately spit the first bite out. The food was also cold and even the fries were nasty. Salad was missing half the ingredients. They offered a replacement but I declined the brisket but my wife said yes to a new salad. It took over 39 minutes to get a new salad and by that time everyone else finished eating and were ready to leave so we just took it to go. Then to top it off they tried to over charge us by $50. We all could tell by the "I don't care attitudes" that they must get a lot of complaints on a daily basis. My guess is they won't be around much longer at this rate! read more

Big fan of Taco Mac in general so very happy they've added a Dawsonville location. The wings, sauces, and fries are good and the staff is friendly. This location is beautiful with nice seating inside and good lighting. They also have doors that raise up and open into the patio area. Loved having this option on a nice day, even saw a dog out there so seems to be dog friendly. Lots of TVs and good drink selection. My only complaint is for some reason other Taco Mac locations will mix a wet and a dry rub sauce, but this one never will and we have tried many times so instead they have you order one and bring a side of the other. read more

The brussels sprouts were so inundated with seasoning my tongue recoiled in the back of my throat. We were served our food granted I had wings that I am eating with my hands. We did not receive napkins or silverware for at least another five minutes. We did not eat a quarter of our food. It took the waitress another 10 to 15 minutes with our plates piled up in the middle of the table to come over and give us our check. Great sports bar atmosphere. Came on a Saturday evening and they had us in and out in time for a movie. I liked how all the burgers were named after important Atlanta locales. The Silver Comet burger had tons of tasty guacamole, which helped cool off the hot peppers. Just the right amount of heat and creamy cool. I frequent many Taco Mac locations. I've been to this location twice, and both times the roasted wings have been undercooked. (Mostly the larger drums) I'd suggest the management check the oven temperature gauge, or increase roasting times. We visit Taco Mac almost every Sunday after church, and we always have a good experience with the staff. Abigail is our favorite waitress there! She changes the TV to ChiveTV for our boys, and she remembers our order! She is very nice and kind. She is very attentive to detail. :) The bathrooms and overall restaurant are always clean, and management typically comes by and checks in our service. :) We will be sure to continue our regular Sunday visits, because the food is great and the staff is friendly! read more

What a great experience! We showed up to Taco Mac with quite an army (40+ people) and the team was extremely quick to attend to our needs. I really enjoyed the margarita and the spinach artichoke dip. Our server (whom I forget her name but she had short curly hair) was incredibly sweet and answered all of our probably annoying questions. Did not know about the free cronuts to commemorate our first visit! How fun! Great place to watch any sports game. If I had to guess, there are ~40 flatscreens around the facility. We went there to meet some friends, it was one of the choices in restaurants in the area. It had been a while since we had been there, and now I remember why. The prices are high, the food value is poor, you at least think that you can still look at a menu with a huge list of beers, and pick one that you haven't had in a while, but no. You have to scan/download a menu to your phone, and there is no simple list anymore, you have to search for the beer you think they would have by category, while the pressure to order something from the server and the rest of the table is building. The wings are small, my steak quesadillas came out wrong, soggy with VERY little steak. There are way too many options for me to ever return. It's as simple as that. read more

I did a to go order and overall the food was pretty good. I got the traditional wings with the flavors garlic parm and Asian Sweet heat with the mac and cheese and some pretzel bites. The wings were awesome as well as the service, however the mac and cheese had too many peppers in my opinion and it made the mac and cheese taste only like a pepper and noodle situation, it made the cheese very dull.
