So this is for all the would be food critics on Yelp. First of all it's a sports bar and it's not fine dining. With the selection and the options available it's going to be an ok experience as long as the food is coming out warm. Many will read this and go, well this guy is a stanch supporter, far from it. My visit was ok, ok food with an ok experience, again not going to be a Michelin experience. Again my visit was just that, OK. Nothing world changing but also know what to expect anywhere you decide to go. Wings came out ok, not as great as a Hooters wing but ok, burger was ok, not as great as a shake shack burger but was ok. Yes you roll the dice and expect to get a decent experience for money spent, but I also am aware I am capable of cooking at home and getting some cold beers on my own. Readers of reviews that determine where you dine, be your own judge and see for yourself. Come try, make your decision, and if it's not your cup of tea, go to the next place. The last two times I have gone here the food has made me sick, usually its a really long wait time for service, and an even longer wait for beer. I understand its not a bar. but a 30 min wait on a slower night is insane. Also even though they have a ton of beer selections most of the ones I want to drink are out by the time I get there. Probably best to stick with the wings and a pitcher of beer here. If you stray too far into the menu you might have our experience....underdone onion rings, limp lettuce on the salad, No Glass with the beer of the month in the first week of the month, and your order comes back wrong. read more

Saturday afternoon after my son's football game my family and I went to taco Mac for lunch. Our servers name was Jessi, she was AMAZING! She had other tables but still managed to make us feel like we had her full attention and never let us run out of drinks! She even helped me pick out a beer that's now my favorite! Taco Mac has always had great servers but Jessi was our favorite! We will be back to sit with her! Enjoy the variety of beer, but the wing flavor selection is limited. ( they need a sweet/hot flavor) and the food hasn't been consistently good either. It's hit or miss sometimes-lots of TVs to catch games if thats your thing. Returned my food on this night, and the manager said he would remeve the chg from the bill. Received the bill and the chg was still there. Our server was very nice and attentive, but I'm just not sure if we are going to go back. read more

This place is apparently under new management and it sucks. You cannot substitute any sides on any menu items- not even fries. Don't believe me? Give it a try. Also, we had to send back our beer glasses twice because they were filthy- literally had food stuck on the inside of them and when the waitress couldn't find anything better we finally dumped our cups of water into the beer glasses and poured the beer in the plastic water cups. Worst experience ever. My boyfriend and I ate here last night. Cheese dip took 15 minutes to get to our table and when it did, it was so hard my boyfriend and I couldn't eat it. We didn't see our waitress again until 5 mins after our meal came out. I then asked her to heat it up and for some condiments. The food was actually good, but it took so long to get the condiments it was cold by the time we started eating and when I tried to ask for another drink the waitress stopped and started talking to a busboy before coming to my table. I am a waitress myself so I understand things can get hectic, but this was inexcusable. read more

I've gotten take out from here a few times. While their food isn't bad, the portions are small and expensive for the size. Their Chicken Philly, for example, is a $9 6" sub. When you get a side of fries, you can count the number you get at first glance. It's like a small McDonald's portion. So far the best value has been the chicken nachos, which are also pretty tasty. Really been disappointed with this location for some time now. After the previous manager moved to the Chastain Rd location, this one has steadily gone down hill. Service is no longer up to standards (except for the servers who have been here for a long time - those numbers are starting to dwindle) and the food is sub-standard. The wings are spongy; even if you ask for extra crispy, they just don't get it (I don't know what they do in the "extra 20 minutes" they say it takes 'cause they are always under cooked. This used to be my favorite place to eat at.. back when it was actually taco Mac. Since they changed it to Morgan's and back to taco mac the menu is a huge disappointment and tastes like concession stand food. Their "street tacos" are actually tortillas with CHILI in it. We also ordered the queso. There we're huge chunks of what looked like a burnt bandaid. The waiter told us he would get us a new one.. he came back with the same one and the black pieces looks like they had just been crushed smaller and the guy said "oh wait did you guys want a new one..?" They didn't even bother to heat it up or add more. And my wings looked like pigeon wings they were so small.. and they removed the honey hickory bbq ones which are the best flavor. Griz does a great job. This location has some good bartenders. Griz and Liz do a good job taking care of the customers at the bar. If you like beer they have a great selection of beers that change every month. Some of the best food items are their burgers and roasted wings. read more

I read several negative reviews about this place but I decided to try it out anyway. I must say that it was a pleasant experience. My daughter and I went around lunch time on a Wednesday. It was not crowded. The booth was clean. We were seated right away. Our server, David, came to take our drink orders promptly. Once he came back with the drinks, he took our food orders and he kept returning to let us know that our food would be ready soon. David was absolutely awesome. We got excellent customer service from him. I am giving 4 stars because the food was okay. But I would return there for a quick bite to eat. Anytime I receive great customer service, I would like the establishment and employee to be recognized. read more

We moved from the Smyrna area and we were hesitant to have anything other than drinks at a taco Mac due to having such terrible food and service multiple times at other locations. However, we did try this location once we moved to the area. We had lunch and the service and food are excellent! We have been back repeatedly since then and have always had great service and good meals. The general manager has a presence and walks around making sure customers are happy. We have spoken with him on more than one visit. I would definitely recommend this Taco Mac if you are in the area! read more

The menu is not very healthy, and is limited, but hey, it's Taco Mac, and they have every beer you could ever imagine wanting at this place! I usually stick to the wedge salad and wings. Came here with my girlfriend soon she could watch the Patriots game. Sat outside and not crowded, yet service was slow. Our waiter hardly made an appearance, got our drinks wrong, left all of our dishes from our drinks and food on our table, even as he was bringing out more drinks. The food was great, but seriously the service is non existent. If you can't handle the Sunday crowd, don't have the NFL ticket. Still waiting for our check and it's been 20 minutes. We moved to West Cobb almost three years ago and Taco Mac was our Thursday and Friday night hangout. Averaged over once a week for 2.5 years but around nine months ago everything changed for the worse. Service which had been good became absolutely horrible and wing sauces which had been the same for years and years changed to a very vinegary nasty mess. The last time we went there about a couple of months ago we were sat in the back area, no problem, but 15 minutes in and we had not been waited on yet. We left and have not been back. This isn't an isolated problem, I know others who have walked out also plus the parking lots are no where near as crowded as they used to be. read more
