I have been going to Taco Mac for 15 years all over Atlanta and this is by far the worse. The beer selection is great but the customer service is horrible. This isn't just a one time thing. I have visited this location about 8 times just because it's close to home. Each visit gets worse. Today we were seated and waited over 25 minutes. We were unable to order because all the servers were in s meeting????? Cmon. All servers in a meeting for that long??? I don't think they realize people come to restaurants to EAT!!!! I can't wait until the new Hudson Grill opens in a few weeks! I have had with their arrogance and terrible service. read more

I usually love this place but tonight was the worst experience I've ever had here. It took 15 minutes for a manager to realize we hadn't gotten drinks yet. Once we ordered we waited about an hour and once our server got back to our table she told us the kitchen had lost our order ticket... what should have been a hour long dinner turned to 2 hours for just a salad, 2 orders of wings and chicken tenders. That's crazy. They need to get it together maybe have some enforcement in the kitchen. read more

Attended a business networking event with the West Cobb Business Association at this Taco Mac tonight and it was a fantastic experience! Food was great, service was even greater. Servers went WAY above and beyond to make sure everyone was well taken care of. Several of us decided to stay for dinner afterward and the experience then was as good or better than the event. Will be coming back for dinner here a LOT more frequently and hope to attend events held here in the future too. read more

This location is near Lowe's and right at the intersection of Dallas road and Ernest Barrett Parkway. The restaurant definitely gave you a different vibe compared to all the other locations we have been to. The decoration and atmosphere gives a southern feeling, and it feels more like a bbq pit with a lot of Tvs than a sports bar. Our waitress was Sarah, and she was sweet. Some areas she might need to improve, but in general, it was a good experience. We ordered queso, 20 lemon pepper wings and fries. Fries tasted unlike any other locations, no seasoning salt and not crispy, even mushy. The size of wings was decent, since this was the reason we didn't want to go to the Kennesaw location. But we were not able to taste lemon pepper flavor. Usually TacoMac serves their lemon pepper with lemon juice and freshly grounded pepper. This location used the lemon pepper salt you can buy from the store. This is the reason we removed the stars. We probably won't come back to this location and we are still trying to find a decent wing spot. read more

The staff knows little about the beer, and is slow, whether the place is empty or busy. The kitchen overcooks, undercooks, and leaves things off the plate- shrimp and avocado salad- without the avocado? Mixed drinks overpriced. I recently went to Taco Mac and ordered some wings, if you can call them that. These wings were very small and fit for a 'toddler'. Taco Mac used to serve larger / jumbo style wings, but they want to charge the same price for these 'Mini' Wings. I don't get it. Stop skimming on the food to increase your profits, Taco Mac !!! Think about the customer satisfaction, and they will come back. As for me I will go some other place to find some food that can fill me up. Service was so-so...Food: We ordered lemon pepper, habanero wings, with a side of fries. The lemon pepper wings barely had lemon pepper on it, it was like half a dash for each wing and the habanero was not spicy at all, unlike usual. My partner and I have been to different T.Macs and this would be one of the worst locations for food. As for drinks, Kentucky Mule was tasty but not strong at all, so my partner says. Tip: I would go to the TMac at Cobb Pkway instead, besides it's more renovated over there. read more

Yesterday was the first time I had gone to this Taco Mac location. The menu is the same as any other Taco Mac and provides a good value for the amount of food you get. Our waiter was great and came buy about once every 5 to 10 minutes to check on our drinks and to see if we needed anything. The manager was nice enough to come by twice as well. Once before our food arrived to see how our service has been, and then once after getting our food to check and make sure everything tasted well. The only fault I have is my first two beer selections I made on the menu the waiter came back to the table to say "We are out of that beer." My third choice of beer was still good, but I wish they carried everything they have listed on the menu. Food was good, service was fantastic, I just wish they were not out of my first two beer choices. read more

I've only been here once but it was pretty good. The food is pretty good for bar food. I'd reccomend any of the burgers or burritos. But hey let's be honest, you don't go to Taco Mac for the food, you go for the beer. Taco Mac has a beer selection head and shoulders above most anywhere else. But hey beer is their thing so it's to be expected. If you like beer and bar food, like I do, then Taco Mac is the place for you. Once again, a disappointment for take out. If your on site, then you can remind your server what's missing and get the order corrected but take out seems to be spotty at best. Food is usually good, it's just a gamble if your order is going to be right (for the third time in a row). One thing for sure, Taco Mac Marietta is consistently, inconsistent. Long time customer but it seems over the past year things have digressed. Buyer beware, check your order before you leave or be prepared because they get huffy when you call back. Same issues as always with this restaurant. They can't seem to get food to table without messing it up. Our waitress was great but 3 out of 4 adults meal had to be sent back as well as 1 of 2 appetizers. Unexplainable how a burger ordered "medium" can come out so rare that people across the table said it's bleeding. Not to mention food was cold, and waited on dinner to come out for over an hour. We don't have any Taco Macs in Denver, but I know this is a chain of sports bar type places in this area. The name is deceiving, because it's not a Mexican restaurant, but rather a pretty straightforward sports bar. Lots of TVs, sandwiches, fried things, etc. If you've been to a Buffalo Wild Wings, you should be familiar with the ambiance. The food is pretty mediocre across the board, from my personal experience here and talking to my family that lives nearby and eats here frequently. It's not offensively bad, and there's nothing on the menu to write home about. The wings are solid but not great, the burgers are solid but not great, the salads are sub par. But what this place does have going for it is a fantastic beer selection. There is an entire wall of taps, with many more choices in bottles, from breweries large and small across the country and from around the world. I was shocked to see Fort Collins Brewery beers here, as that's a small operation from back home. Prices are what you'd expect, and our server was very friendly. Food took a while to come out. So, if you're into trying new beers and/or you're looking for a place to watch sports, I would recommend this place. If you're going out to dinner, you'd probably be better off elsewhere. read more

I love Taco Mac. For those not familiar, do not be fooled by the name. This is not a Mexican style restaurant at all. Best known for their awesome wings, plus an unmatched selection of imported and domestic beers. Its also a great place to watch a game, as their are tv's and big screens everywhere. I had my usual ten wings (hot) with the celery and blue cheese. As always, very tasty and plenty to eat. They have other items on the menu, but I haven't ordered them in years. Why would I with these wings? This Atlanta chain blows away Hooters and B-Dubs when it comes to wing quality. I have been to several locations around the area. My closest location is Dallas Hwy, but my favorite is Chastain Road in Kennesaw. read more

We have been going to this Taco Mac 3 times a month for the last 2 years. And up to last two month the food and service was fantastic . But last week it was the worst service and food I have ever had. Wings were raw and I ordered lemon pepper there was nothing on theses wings. Ordered chips and Salsa asked 3 times for salsa and asked the manager and still did get any. Looked like a all new staff. My husband and I eat here on a fairly regular basis for years. We have never been disappointed. Normally we get the orders to go but on occasion we do eat in. Their wings are by far the best around, and their cheese burgers taste as if you took them off of your own backyard grill. All other food, from salads to sandwich wraps are spot on. Since I came to the area in 2000, this Taco Mac has been a regular stop for me and my family. While their menu does have some Tex-Mex items, don't let the name make you think this is a Mexican place. The best way I can describe Taco Mac is a sports bar like a Buffalo Wild Wings that actually serves decent food. The sandwiches are good, and the wings are some of the best in metro Atlanta, especially the habanero Barbecue. While you may not be getting the biggest food deal in town, I still feel the prices are decent, and you can usually find something good if a sports bar menu is what you're after. This particular location can get crowded on big game nights, but they recently annexed another part of the storefront to add a new seating area. There is also a good amount of outdoor seating with some TVs if you'd rather not eat inside. The restaurant can be loud, as big groups (ranging from little league teams to college groups or families) often come here, but this is a sports bar, not the French Laundry. Yes, there are occasionally drunk people, but that comes with the territory. There is the occasional iffy server, but I've experienced good service far more than poor service. My out of state girlfriend and I came in to watch the UGA game last night, and our server gave both of us some great selections for beers that neither one of us had tried before. As most people have said, the beer selection here is top notch, and it is always being tweaked. If you go for the standard macros, the price is average for the area, but you will pay more for the nicer beers (a price comes with having more to choose). However, the beers aren't any more than most places inside Atlanta for craft beers and far better than some areas of the country. And having four gigantic banks of tap beers and a couple hundred selections in bottles is worth paying a little more. In short, it's a local sports bar chain that provides above average food for a sports bar and has a great beer selection. Some of the servers are quite knowledgeable in beer and most are willing to provide advice. Go here to watch the game, sign up for your beer passport, and give it a try. We ate here on September 17, 2017. The restaurant was clean which is a big plus and the score was a 100 so how could we go wrong? Service was okay being our waiter did not frequently check in on us and we were a crowd of ten people. The evening crowd was small and mello so we got our food pretty quickly. We ordered 70 assorted wings and 3 baskets of fries. The wings were not really seasoned but they weren't tasteless. Fries were seasoned pretty good but could have been a little more crunchier. They provided a wet wipe for our hot chicken saucy hands and fingers in addition to the napkins which I thought was pretty cool. Plenty of TV's mounted along the perimeter of the walls and there was also music playing, I think a mixture of Country and Pop. Overall, I'd give it a thumbs up and would go again. The waiter that was suppose to take care of me and my business partner just didn't have it together. It took me to get up and go find a manager to get my bill so I could get out of this so called restaurant and g to another restraint where I could get some decent. Service and food. Worst Taco Mac I have ever been to. We waited over 15 minutes for our waiter to show up, then when he finally did he has about as much personality as a dead carp. Asked us what we wanted to drink, no introductions or anything, then disappeared for another 10 minutes and sent a girl to the table with our waters and my children's drinks while he was MIA. When we finally had enough waiting on him to order food, we went to ask for the check to pay for the children's drinks, spoke to the manager, and he was completely unapologetic or helpful. Told me he would get the check. Didn't ask where we were sitting, if he could take our order, what was wrong, ANYTHING. Was so infuriating, we ended up just walking out. This was not the first time we had bad service here, it was probably the 5th, this was just the last time we will ever go there. It's too bad, because Taco Mac has a really great menu. They really need to work on training their staff and hiring people who actually WANT to work there. read more

Sat at the bar but ended up switching to a high top where Tyler could take care of us. Bartender wasn't around and he took it upon himself to get us started and when she (the bartender) finally came back to the bar she didn't even acknowledge us. We had empty drinks and weren't asked for another until I got up to find Tyler. That's when we switched to a high top. The manager was hanging out by the bar the whole time this happened and didn't even come to us to see what was wrong. We asked for comment cards later on after our meal and she said they didn't have them and walked away that's why I came to yelp to leave a review instead. If it wasn't for Tyler it would have been a really bad experience. But thanks to him we left happy, and we will come back and ask for him. I suggest you do the same if you come here! I used to like this place but it's been quite brutal the last 2 times. The last... and final time I was there, it was horrible. My girlfriend has a special diet and packed a small meal that was hardly noticeable. She was snacking on it out of her purse, trying to keep it hardly noticeable as everyone else was dinning at the restaurant. We all were eating an appetizer waiting for our meal when the waitress spotted my girlfriend and immediately went to the manager. So rude, we were embarrassed by the manager as he interrupted our conversation and embarrassed her in front of the whole table. I could not believe this place. The waitress also lied and said they had no Coffee even though it was on the menu. My friend left and went to Starbucks. If your going to a Taco Mac, choose another location. Service is terrible and slow. We waited forever for our order. We asked the bartender if he could check on our order and he said "yeah, she's checking on it" and continued to talk to one of the customers. They were talking about another customer that complained that the service was slow. It took 1/2 hour to get a cold cup of chicken tortilla soup. The tortillas were mush because it sat so long. They never asked us if we wanted another drink. The bar and tables were also dirty and sticky. The bartenders are too busy socializing with each other. This place is awful. read more
