First time trying Nazo Taco and so happy we did! Chips Salsa and Beans were tasty & the salsa had some heat!! Chorizo Potato and Eggs Burrito was fantastic and good sized portion. Marinated Pork Taco - Pastor, Chicken Taco, Carne Asada Taco were all so delicious and loved all the toppings. Their green & red salas were a hot treat. Definitely recommend everything we ate!

    Chile rellenos plate.

If you're looking for authentic traditional Mexican "homemade" food this is it. I got the chiles rellenos and felt as if I had made them myself. The carne asada was very flavorful. My one year old devoured two tacos. Definitely a place to try.

This is the best taco spot in town. I'm from California and I've been missing the authentic, high quality tacos. This place is amazing. I always get carnitas tacos. The meat is cooked perfectly. I can't speak for the other meats. The salsas are amazing and their cakes are sooo good. I HIGHLY recommend this spot if you want a taste of the real deal. Everyone there is so kind and make you feel so welcome.

Seeing as how we've been here twice in the last two days it was about time to write a review. The best breakfast burritos in a 5 square mile radius, and some of my wife's favorite local carne asada tacos ($1.99 each). This place is legit, we've been coming for the last 8 years and it's only gotten better. I order something different every time and always like it, they have happy hour, great Mexican soups and the prices can't be beat.

Great quality food for affordable prices! Service was 10/10 fast and friendly! Also got some carne asada tacos and kids enchilada it was all delicious! A hidden gem with a great ambiance inside drinks and music god bless you all

Came here after a softball game and it definitely hit the spot. This is the 2nd time we've visited this place and it never disappoints. My first visit I got the carne asada burrito, and my 2nd visit I got the Al pastor. Both burritos were very flavorful and the green salsa is awesome. I love their tortillas! Service was fast and friendly. Will keep coming back!

I got the bang bang shrimp and it was good (6/10). The problem that I have is the pistachio gin fizz was an absolute no! I am a HUGE fan of pistachio and gin so immediately I had to get his drink but it was beyond mediocre. Are we drinking only syrup??? My last complaint is the coconut tres leches dessert.... Do we actually know how to make tres leches or we just naming desserts however we want? Just curious. It came out super hot, steaming more like a molten cake. As a Hispanic woman, I was expecting a creamy moist cake to celebrate my graduation but this was not it as well. Last but not least if the bald manager with the orange shirt wants to eat in the back of the kitchen, not the problem I get it (I work at restaurants) HOWEVER shoving your two index fingers into your mouth to get your debris out was my last straw. Like I said I like this restaurant and never had problems but today felt like a fever dream there.

We walked in and were immediately greeted by... absolutely no one. There was what might have been a hostess stand, or possibly a modern art installation--I'm still not sure. After doing a full lap like we were casing the place for a heist, we confirmed: no hostess, no sign, no clues. Just vibes. Naturally, we migrated to the bar like confused NPCs waiting for a quest. Stood there. Made eye contact. Practiced our "we are clearly humans who would like to eat" stance. Nothing. Not even a nod. At this point, I was considering ordering invisibility cloaks since we were clearly already wearing them. Finally, we move to the front of the bar where someone acknowledges us and says, "Oh yeah, just go to the hostess stand... she'll be back." Ah yes--the elusive hostess. A mythical creature. So we return to the podium of mystery and wait. Eventually, an older woman appears (possibly summoned by our collective confusion) and seats us. Progress. We sit down. No water. No greeting. No "hey, glad you solved the puzzle and made it to Level 2." Just silence. About 7 minutes later, two guys get seated right next to us. Within 4 minutes, a server rushes over to them like they're VIPs at a Vegas club and takes their drink order... while we're sitting there like decorative furniture. At that point, we realized we weren't dining--we were extras in someone else's restaurant experience. So we left. To whoever manages this place: you might want to check the tape. Not even to fix things--just to appreciate the full cinematic masterpiece of how impressively this all unfolded. Honestly, it'd make a great training video titled "What If We Just Didn't?" Would I come back? Only if there's a leaderboard next time so I know how close I was to unlocking the "Order Coffee" achievement.

They had the door to the patio open allowing flies in which were everywhere and extra heat. I asked once to have it closed and was told they keep it open to go in and out on the patio to access customers mind you there was only one party on the patio of two people . The server that I had asked, said she would let me know and go and ask someone else about that & never came back and let me know anything. I asked my server and he agreed as soon as I asked he closed it, you could tell there was a difference in how much cooler it got in the building it wasn't a lot, but it was a little bit to make us feel even a little cooler. I understand that it is In a college town, but to have no changing table in the bathrooms was an issue for me and it would be nice to have that. They should take into consideration holidays like Mother's Day or even just when family's eat there regarding the changing tables. Our server was super nice. I'd highly suggest investing in ceiling fans or adjusting the AC especially during AZ hot summers especially on days like today where there was a heat warning. Outside of that who seemed to be the manager was accommodating to our party given the before mentioned and even said herself it was hot so we were appreciative of that!! If there was changing tables and fans this review would've been better but THE FOOD WAS GREAT! Kids loved the Mickey Mouse pancakes, we loved the Ruben, big boy biscuits and gravy and the hangover bowl! No complaints on the food at all. So definitely try this place any time before May would be great! Or until they get fans either or. It wasn't unbearable but because we had kids we were limited on time capacity. Uncomfortable due to the heat but service and food was good.

While the ambience is fairly simple, the overall experience is a positive one, especially once the food arrives. I ordered the lox and bagel and was impressed by how substantial the portion was. The lox was generously layered, with a large amount of arugula on top. The arugula appeared to be lightly dressed with olive oil, which added great flavor. While it did not fully align with my personal dietary preferences, it was well executed, and I would be happy to return to see if it can be adjusted. The dirty chai was another highlight in terms of flavor. It was well spiced and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Although it was described as very hot when delivered, it arrived closer to lukewarm, but the taste itself was enjoyable. Service was efficient and attentive. The check was dropped off relatively early, which initially felt a bit quick, but our server continued to check in on us throughout the meal, creating a balanced and courteous experience. The fresh squeezed orange juice was excellent, and everything we ordered was well prepared. Parking in the area can be challenging, though the nearby parking structure behind Pedalhaus makes it more manageable. Overall, this is a reliable brunch option with strong portions, thoughtful flavors, and enough positives to make it a place I would gladly return to.

A lot of places start making you feel awkward if you stay too long, but the service here stayed friendly and attentive the entire time we were there. The mimosas were honestly one of my favorite parts because they had so many different fresh juice flavors to choose from instead of just the typical orange juice. It made the experience feel way more fun and customizable, and you could actually taste how fresh the juices were. Every mimosa we tried was refreshing and super easy to drink. The food was also really good and paired perfectly with the drinks. Everything tasted fresh and well-made, and it all came out quickly even though the place was busy. I also loved that they offer both indoor and outdoor seating because it gives the place such a nice vibe depending on what kind of experience you want. We spent a good amount of time just relaxing, enjoying the weather, and hanging out, and it honestly made for such a nice date spot. Overall, this place has a really welcoming atmosphere, great service, delicious food and drinks, and the kind of environment that makes you want to stay awhile. It had duck bacon (was curious about this bc I'm not a fan of duck), turkey sausage, black beans, quinoa, egg, spinach and more. Somehow that entire medley was perfection when it comes to flavor. Usually bowls can be dry with no sauce, but it was not lacking at all. Staff and service: 5/5 we brought our dog Tom who's a pretty big golden doodle and sometimes can get overly excited when he gets brought outside. But their staff was nice enough to give us a dog bowl with water for him and served his egg on a little to go box plate. It's a little stressful with Tom at times and they made it so much easier. Inside/outside set-up: 5/5. They have a gorgeous inside dining with bar situation. Interior design was super cute for a date and I loved the hanging lamps. We were welcomed with a friendly smile. We explained that the other half of our party was on their way & the host promptly prepared our table... mostly. There were small plates set for each of us, but only one roll-up/napkin (for 4) & no drink menu. Minor details, but it kinda set the tone for the service experience. Now listen... the spot itself is cute. Once we actually got service, our waiter was cool. It just took forevvverrrrr & I ended up having to request cutlery after food was served. To be fair, it was busy, but there also seemed to be plenty of wait staff, so I'm not exactly sure where the disconnect was. Food-wise: the spinach artichoke dip was definitely the table favorite. My caprese panini was ok, it was sadly lacking pesto which feels a little criminal for a caprese situation. Our friends loved the fancy French toast & I was absolutely there for the prickly pear mimosas The entire brunch honestly felt like it was one dropped plate away from becoming a sitcom episode. One poor new waiter dropped a plate on the floor, then later knocked glasses off the rack above the bar & shattered a couple right next to guests sitting there. I genuinely felt bad for him because you could tell he was having a rough shift. That said, I really appreciated that they acknowledged the long wait & gave us a discount without us having to ask. That kind of accountability goes a long way. Overall, I'd still go back & give them another try because the atmosphere was fun, the vibe was there, and I can see the potential. Every restaurant has an off day -- especially during a busy brunch rush.

They serve salads, bowls, sandwiches, all-day breakfast, protein shakes, fresh juices, and other healthy, fast-casual eats for dine-in or take-away. My kind of place! This is one of those spots that I'd frequent if I lived nearby (ChopShop, want to open in Northern California?!). I stumbled upon this spot after a little self-guided tour of ASU campus on a sleepy Sunday morning (everyone must have been asleep after the big football game the day before). I'd forgotten about this spot and it was such a happy surprise to find it again and to see that they survived the pandemic and are still thriving. First visit I ordered: -Cheat Day Wrap: scrambled egg, bacon, white cheddar, smashed avocado, tomato, brown rice (I ordered without rice), and turkey or ham (I skipped these too) *DELISH on a whole wheat wrap!!! Full of flavor and super easy to eat. This hearty breakfast sando fueled my active morning of hiking "A" Mountain (Hayden Butte Preserve) the running around the the IronMan course to spectate (30,000+ steps as a spectator!). We couldn't leave town without another trip. I took my guy and we enjoyed a salad, another breakfast wrap, and: -Chicken + Prosciutto Sandwich: grilled chicken, prosciutto, fontina, arugula, fig mostarda, dijon (no dijon for us), on a house bun. If you're in the area, looking for a healthy-ish breakfast, lunch, or snack, definitely check out Original ChopShop. Note: it gets busy at peak meal hours with students and faculty. Order at the kiosks (super easy), grab a number, find a table in their cozy interior or on their large front patio, and your food will be brought to you. Have a question? Just ask - the staff were very friendly and helpful in guiding our choices. And I love that they allow modifications to most menu items! We'll be back!!!
