Went in because I saw they had vegan options! Ordered two tacos to go and they were delicious! Vegan tacos were full of flavor! They even have a brunch menu with vegan options! The service was fast and friendly. The place was nice, clean and spacious! Will have to come back and try out more stuff!

I have been coming to their Frisco and McKinney locations for a while. They used to be a counter service in Frisco and then switch to the table service at both locations. The service in both formats has always been good. I have had their brunch menu once and really liked it but didn't document with a picture so it clearly didn't happen. They have a good bar selection to relax at the end of the day or get through your day. My go to option 4/5 times is the two taco plate with rice and beans. The rice is always fluffy and tastes good and the beans are a nice black refried beans. Now for the taco I LOVE the Latin Love. This is the most fantastic shredded beef with plantains. Oh i can't describe how fantastic it is and you have to get it. My second taco is always the Cabo Fish Fried as a good fish taco should be and is on par with the best fish tacos back home in So Cal! You must come try their tacos. You can try their other option but if you do be sure to get a Latin Love taco ala cart.

It's a quiet place, not very busy, the staff was pleasant and attentive. They could have been more welcoming like others had suggested but the food and portion sizes were good. The taco plate was very good, I ordered an additional taco. The value is good, I'll come back.

Love all the vegan options for tacos here. Went for the Pura Vida and the Madre Tierra on corn tortillas. Heaven on a tortilla. Quality ingredients. Great flavors. Tacos so stuffed I needed a knife and fork to finish them off. Excellent combo as the Pura Vida is sweet and the Madre Tierra spicy. Highly recommended for omnis, vegans and vegetarians alike.

Two taco plate - grilled fish and brisket. Yummy beans and rice.

Fresh. Fast. Extremely tasty. We order a 2 taco plate, grilled (was supposed to be fried) fish and brisket tacos. And an order of two tacos - grilled fish and Cabo shrimp. All 4 tacos were 8.6 on Dave Portnoy 10 point must scale. Which if you know that rating, it means these are tacos worth traveling for! Indeed! Chips were really good. Salsa tasted homemade. We will be back! (Taco Tuesday today - $5 tacos)

Brisket taco - very close to barbacoa Latin Love taco - this taco has the bland black beans and avocado

Way overpriced for simple tacos and Mexican food. Need to reduce the prices by at least $1 per taco.

They were not only beautifully crafted but absolutely delicious--each sip had us dreaming of swaying palm trees, ocean breezes, and a Hawaiian getaway. We loved both the Mai Tais and the Beachy Bookkeeper! We decided to share a few appetizers. The Meatballs al Forno was my favorite...packed with flavor and perfect for enjoying with friends over drinks. The Heirloom Tomato Burrata was okay however, the tomatoes didn't seem ripe and were hard and chewy. The Lobster in a Jar was tasty - on the pricey side if you ask me though... One of my favorite things about this spot is the ambiance. The lighting is low (and by low I am flat out dark where you almost can't see your hand in front of your face), creating a dark, cozy, and intimate atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and unwind after a long day. Whether you're catching up with friends, enjoying a date night, or simply looking for a place to escape for a few hours, the vibe here is spot on. The service was fantastic as well. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed, which only added to the experience. Tiki Tuesday has officially become one of my favorite weekly traditions. Great drinks, delicious appetizers, wonderful service, and a cozy atmosphere--what more could you ask for? I'll definitely be back next Tuesday for another little island escape. Where's my grass skirt and coconut bra??? Mahalo for a great evening!

Walk in via J Theodore, the ohone booth is to the left. It's a cool novelty calling with a book name to enter via the book shelf. Once inside the speak easy area there were two seating options. The Library which is set away from the open lounge area and quieter or the lounge area with the bar. They would not let us pick our spot despite seating being available. We opted for the lounge area as the seat offered to us there was better to our preference. The tables are packed quiet tightly which i dont like personally but i get it. That tidbit aside it is definitely a cool environment. Service was really nice and the food we ordered was great. I presume it's the same menu as J Theodore so I'm going to have to try that now for a more restaurant style meal. This is a cool place to hang out and bring friends imo. Since we don't really drink we'll probably end up at the restaurant next time as it's not easy to eat on tiny tables. It's a bar/lounge after all.

We had reservations but there was no major crowd at 5:30. The place is contemporary, white tiles, brass finishes. Fully stocked bar. Nice big windows. Started with a Rail District cocktail that was really good. Finished with a Last Word which had a strong licorice flavor (not my fav) but the cherry at the bottom was great! We split the SPREADABLE WHIPPED LEMON BASIL GOAT CHEESE. Loved this. But note to the Chef or food prep - the toast crackers had so many holes in the bread, there was NO surface for the spreadable. Pieces of toast were basically outer crust and the inner area of bread had 90% giant holes. It was comical. Whoever plated this should have been more selective. My wife had the Salmon and I had the steak. The steak had a large pad of delicious blue cheese and butter on top of it, that slowly melted over the steak and potatoes. That was special. Endive salad was pretty dry, very little dressing. So I mixed it in with the potatoes and cheese/butter.

We started with the buffalo deviled eggs, which were honestly a standout--creamy with just the right amount of kick and a fun twist on a classic. I also ordered a salad that had candied pecans, apples, and grapes, topped with chicken that was cooked absolutely perfectly--so tender and flavorful. It's one of those dishes that feels light but still really satisfying. The ambience is what really makes this place special. It's super cute and thoughtfully designed--fun wallpaper, cozy green sofas, and really stylish light fixtures that give it a warm, inviting vibe. You can tell a lot of intention went into the space. We had the chance to meet the owner, Amy, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming--it's always a good sign when the owner is that engaged. Our server was also fantastic--very attentive, kind, and made sure we were well taken care of the whole time. Location-wise, it's just off Main Street, kind of tucked away to the side, which makes it feel like a hidden gem. There's a great view, plus both indoor and outdoor seating, and the water tower right there adds a really charming touch. Since it's newly opened, I'm really hoping they do well--this place deserves it. I also heard they'll be expanding into the suite next door, which is exciting. I took a peek at their dinner and brunch menus, and I'll definitely be back to check those out soon. Such a cute spot with great food, great people, and a great vibe.

My husband and I stopped by on a weekday around 4:30 pm for happy hour before dinner elsewhere, and luckily, we were able to snag a seat on the patio. All the seating at the bar was already taken at this point. We ordered the dynamite shrimp, some oysters, the cheeseburger, and some drinks. I usually start with the bleu & gold martini (or two). My husband tried the stone fruit martini, but they put a super sour sugar rim on his, which made it EXTREMELY hard to drink. I've ordered this at the Addison location before and never had this rim, so I'm not sure if it is typical at the Frisco location or if it was just when we went. The food was all great- the dynamite shrimp was good, but nothing spectacular. Some of the batter ended up being soggy and a few shrimp pieces were rather small. The cheeseburger was amazing, as always! Overall, the food and service were great, and we will definitely be back again!

It is a very cute restaurant and the ambiance is very calm. Chicken parm: This dish was alright. There is a lot of cheese on the dish which can be overpowering. The marinara sauce is very light which I enjoy. They were out of pasta so I did not get the full experience with this dish. Moreover, I still had to pay full price even though half my dish was missing. Burger: The burger is great! It is extremely juicy and I loved the thousand island dressing on it. It is a great portion and tons of flavor. I loved getting truffle fries on the side with this burger! It came with a huge seasoned pickle on the side which was too sour for me. I also liked the trio dipping sauces, which included ranch, ketchup, honey mustard. Honey mustard was the best with the fries!
