    #9 Enchiladas Rancheras
    Roven M.

Great chips and salsa. Chips were hot in temperature. My Enchiladas Rancheras were amazing. Cheesy. Meaty. Got shredded beef and Ground beef. Probably the best beans I've had. My friends enjoyed their beers. Quiet atmosphere for a family restaurant. Service was attentive. Other than the mix up of items on separate checks; overall, we had a good time! I'll definitely be back!

This restaurant is close to LaHS off of the busy los alamitos street. The decor is super Vibey really cute and kind of like a local surf joint. Onto the food. I initially ordered their famous fish burrito, which I asked for grilled and it came out too fishy so I ended up swapping it out for a Carina. I saw that burrito. The best thing about this place is there free chips and salsa. It is light and airy and super tasty and unlimited. Not really a fan of their burrito I thought it was just OK. Chris was good and I'm not sure that I would come back.

The food: I order carne asada and my friend ordered fish tacos. They were both delicious and cooked to perfection. My steak was tasty and tender. It was not dry and it was huge. The fish taco was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. I love love their salsa. It tasted like it was homemade. The service was fast. We got our food no more than 10 mins. And it was served hot. The Ambiance is a party vibe and so very colorful inside. It's clean. The price is not too bad. We spent no more than $60 for the both of us.

We decided to come to this restaurant after my daughter's Flag Football game and it did not disappoint! The service was really good. As soon as we sat down, we are greeted with chips and salsa and they kept refilling them as we looked over the menu. The waiter, Nicholas was really nice, he was super helpful when we asked him questions about the menu. While we waited for our food, he was pretty attentive. When the food came out, everything tasted so good! It came out at the same time, and my family was pretty pleased with what we all ordered! If we're ever out in this area again, we're definitely coming back.

2.75 oz. of allotted salsa for 4 tacos that cost $28

Called about Taco Tuesday. Asked how much. They told me Taco Tuesday was in house, and then I told them I would be picking them up. $4.25 each she said, which for $2 Taco Tuesdays is about right for takeout at any taco joint. Get there and the bill was $28, not $16. She said oh yeah, they're more when you take them home. This was well, after I asked how much they were for takeout. So you can see from the picture you get about $2 to $3 tacos, costing over $6 each, and enough salsa for about five chips. No thank you. I'll just go somewhere where Taco Tuesday is two bucks a taco, which is what Taco Tuesday is. The five chips worth of salsa was good, and the tacos I put Taco Bell sauce on to give them flavor. As you can see from the photograph, those messy tacos are worth about two bucks each, each with a small amount of meat. Goodbye.

    3 tacos rice & beans

Food was plentiful and tasty, I had the 3 taco plate, fish, shredded beef & birria , tacos were full of meat, guacamole lettuce, salsa if requested, service very good & friendly , place was clean with plenty of tables & full bar, I highly recommend this restaurant.

I love that I can customize everything exactly how I like it. For the Cobb Wrap, I remove the tomatoes, add extra egg, and ask for easy lettuce and it comes out perfect for me every time. The extra egg makes it even more filling without feeling too heavy. The Caesar Wrap is another favorite, especially when I want something quick and easy to eat on the go. I like a good southwestern salad and Simply salad has two options for me: their El Paso and their 'Cue. Chicken, romaine lettuce, crispy elements, beans, cheese. What's not to like? When I get their salads, I generally don't enjoy their supplied pitas; therefore, I prefer getting their salads as wraps. Unfortunately, the last time I ordered my wrap with "medium" portion of dressing, I had to supplement my wrap with my own sauces. As a wrap, I'd recommend getting your dressing on the side, or "heavy" dressing if you're eating it right away. Lastly, when you order in person, it can take a bit of time; therefore, I try to order ahead through their website or through doordash (as a pickup order).

I can't say I'll go out of my way to eat here [in person], just because when I dine out I prefer a more traditional 'dining out' experience, but I certainly recommend it if you're in the area, and it will be on the list the next time I'm around and want to just chill with a burger and a beer with a friend or two. Pricing didn't upset me much - $75 for three people, which included two sides, a beer, a fountain drink, and a shake, in addition to our main orders. So, not bad for 2026. Big ups for the free pickle slices, too. :)

Of course, we always get the giant katsu curry that everyone talks about. And yes, it really is HUGE. The portion is no joke and easily enough to share, but it's not just about the size--the katsu is crispy and the curry is really flavorful. It definitely lives up to the hype. The bulgogi bibimbap is another one that's always in our rotation. It's a hit with the whole family and one of those dishes that everyone happily eats. We also love the beef soup, which is a particularly big win because even my picky little one loves it. She'll actually eat it and ask for more, so that one has become a must-order for us. Between the generous portions, comforting food, and the fact that the whole family can find something they like, Dawa Kitchen has definitely become a regular in our dinner rotation. The staff was friendly and helped us choose a fourth item. Weekday lunch special is buy two and get a third item half off! We prdered the giant chicken katsu on curry rice, the Dawa chicken, the dduk bokki, and bibimpap with bulgogi. All of the dishes came out piping hot and perfectly made--so many sweet, salty, spicy flavors and plenty of textures to enjoy. I appreciated the plentiful cold water at the table to accompany this flavor-packed dining experience. We asked for seconds of the cucumber kimchi because it was also so good. My favorite was the bibimpap with bulgogi--sooo scrumptious. The giant flattened chicken katsu was impressed as promised. And we even had leftovers to take home! If you get a chance, highly recommend!!

Super fresh and tasty!…read more This was my first time trying Cava and I totally get the hype now. I came by on a Sunday early-afternoon and there was a bit of a line. The line to order was nearly to the door. The line was moving fast until a Karen-like character stormed to the front and cut us all off. She was complaining about something she didn't like about her order and demanded that her bowl be remade. The workers were very respectful and immediately started remaking her food. This was annoying for me and everyone else that had been waiting but the employees handled it well. I ordered the new Glazed Salmon as my protein and it was so delicious. It has a beautiful glaze and crust with a soft interior that really impressed me for it being a fast-casual restaurant. The add-ons to the bowls were great and paired well with the flavors of the salmon. I felt like my bowl was a little skimped out on though - it felt a little empty for the price. I will be craving this until we get a NorCal location!

Additionally, the place was filthy. Trash overflowing and tables dirty. I would only come back for the blueberry lavender lemonade. That was delish!
