My friend's veggie burrito (they got the standard one with cheese and ranch, no lettuce).
Rebecca D.

It was my first time at a Taco Time, and I will probably never return. Two veggie burritos and chips were $19 (no drinks or other sides). The burritos were literally flavorless, and had the thinnest layer of beans spread on it. There was an oddly sweet aftertaste that lingered, too. I do not understand the flavor combinations they are going for. It's my fault for not asking what they contained before ordering, but I found out they have roasted pumpkin seeds and ranch. I caught the ranch before it was added (I cannot have dairy, so I also requested no cheese), but I took a bite before I found the pumpkin seeds, which I am sadly allergic to. I would have never thought a mexican burrito would contain pumpkin seeds?? It's not something I would have thought to ensure wasn't on it. The burrito contains no actual veggies, too, except lettuce and cabbage. No onions, no tomatoes, no avocados; it's so bizarre. There's corn, but some of the pieces were hard. The people were kind, though, it just doesn't make up for the terrible food. We couldn't even get our friend that eats everything to eat them. It's very overpriced for what we received, and I'd have been okay with that if it had a taste that matched. The prices are basically the same as Chipotle, with zero quality. Avoid this chain. Taco Bell is better and way cheaper. And I hate Taco Bell, so I guess that's saying something.

Fit bit Fit-Hit Bowl Chicken. No beans and extra rice.

Today, I came in for my usual mini soft taco and not only was my food a delight, but Hollie, the cashier made my day.

We had a great meal at Pura Brasa. Everything we ordered was really good and you can tell the food…read moreis fresh and made well. Between me & my girl we tried a bunch of different things -- the Texas smoked sausage, guacamole, arroz de la casa, esquite, quesadillas, fish tacos, the 8 oz filet mignon, and the American wagyu burger. Honestly there wasn't a single thing we didn't like. The filet was cooked perfectly & came out on a hot plate. It will continue to cook if you leave it on the plate but they disclose that & give you an extra plate to transfer it to (some people complain about their steak being overcooked but in my opinion that's their own fault lol). The esquite and arroz de la casa were amazing, I'll order both sides every time I come back. Overall it was just a really solid meal. Definitely a place I'd recommend if you're in the Sumner area.

Service is good, not overbearing or too sparse. Prices a bit high, but it's worth it as nearly everything is made in house and high quality. 100% would recommend. WISH THEY WERE OPEN ON TUESDAYS!

Five star for the taste of these tacos. I am very picky when it comes to Mexican food because I…read morecome from CA where we have the best. I saw the large white truck outside the corner grocery gas mart and swooped in to try it on a whim. I ordered 3 tacos: asada, pollo and carnitas. Delicious!!!! I thought I died and woke up in Central Ca. Highly recommend. (This high of a compliment from me for a taco truck in WA is very rare) Clearly, I highly recommend. I can't wait to go back! I want to also mention. I witnessed the owner paying a homeless man for helping keep his outside space clean and swept. He paid him cash and a plate of food. This owner earned my respect and business even before I bit into one of those delicious tacos.

My husband and I both got the birria tacos with consome, a side of rice and beans, and guacamole. Everything was packaged up well and was still warm considering it's kind of far from us. Only bummer was that they didn't send along our side of chips & guac. :( The tacos themselves are pretty dang big, and with us each getting two, it was a lot of food. Overall I thought they were really good, but the downside was that we got a lottt of fatty, squishy meat in our tacos which really grosses me out. The parts that weren't super fatty were delicious though!! The consomé was also absolutely fire and I definitely straight up just drank some of it - zero shame. Rice and beans were tasty, but that's hard to mess up. We also really enjoyed the salsas they provided - they both had a good kick that wasn't painful and the flavor was on point. I personally loved the green one the most! Their little food truck setup looks super cute and I definitely want to visit in person to give the tacos a second chance.
