Delicious and fresh in a most unassuming location. Very reasonably priced. I had 2 fish tacos and a few spoonfuls of C's shrimp coctel. The tacos are so perfectly done and deceptively filling. OMFG!! I'm so happy I found this place! Boyfriend and I each had the taco plate, which came with 2 tacos (fish or shrimp), rice, and beans. I'm not sure if the plates come with a drink, but we each got a sprite and the total cost was about $13.50. That's a deal in my book! The shrimp ceviche and seafood burritos are not to be ignored as well. Service here could use a little improvement, but it doesn't really cut into the food experience too much, so it's forgivable. I have been here twice already solely because of their fabulous fish tacos.. I have to really say it's one place I will never get tired of. My two year old even enjoyed her fish taco today. There is one thing I don't like is the parking. However, my favorite is their Ceviche de Camaron. It's so fresh and made perfect. All you need is a little of that Habanero Chile they offer and you're good to go. Tried this place because it was down the street from where I work, and there was plenty of good reviews. Went inside just before 7pm, and there was about 4 patrons ahead of me. No worries, probably just a popular place. Ordered a shrimp burrito, paid and sat down at a table. I was excited to eat the food, so I got my napkins, jalapenos and glwas ready to enjoy my meal. The table was filthy and there were SO many flies buzzing around and landing on me. Waited about 20 minutes before my burrito came out. Grabbed my food to go, and ate in my car. Burrito was decent. Been to better places. Later that evening, I ended up getting sick and vomited. Ended up sick for 2 days. I would not step foot in this place again. I eat with my eyes before putting food in my mouth, and the environment completely destroyed my appetite. I forced myself to eat after being unable to eat an actual meal throughout the day. The best fish tacos you will find in Whittier. On Wednesdays, they have $1 fish tacos. But, be prepared to wait a bit due to the line going out the door from everyone wanting their fish tacos! I also like their shrimp cocktail. It's a little more expensive than other places I've been too but the portion size makes up for it. Limited parking sometimes makes it a pain. It's usually a gamble if you'll find parking so be prepared to park down the street and walk a bit. read more

Good food, HORRIBLE customer service. Girl at the register named Monique is so rude and has no customer skills what so ever. The whole time she was helping customers she had such a blank miserable expression, also when your ordering she doesn't even have the decency to make eye contact. She also messed up on our order charging us for an extra tostada but she was so unapproachable to begin with, we just kept the tostada to avoid the unpleasant lady. The tostadas & tacos are good here but I didn't like that the cocktail in the picture looks like it had Clamato sauce and when they served me my cocktail it had no color, I wouldn't order it again. read more

I can't get over how amazing the food here was. For legit, authentic mariscos you usually have to sacrifice cleanliness and service. That was not the case here. The location is extremely clean and the service is amazing, even considering how extremely busy they are. I got a shrimp cocktail. What I first loved is that I was able to customize it to mg liking since they mix everything there on the spot. This thing was absolutely delicious!!!! Packed beyond belief with shrimp, I would babe thought this was a large order with the amount of shrimp I got. I got charged more than I usually do for the fish ceviche in a large cup to go. I received my fish ceviche and I got no juice whatsoever in it. Completely dry. Being from Ensenada in Baja I am very picky when it comes to "Baja" style fish tacos and seafood in general but I can complain when it comes to this joint. OMG! the best shrimp tacos ever! hands down they are so delicious they arent like bareaded they are battered and the cream and hot sauce is so goood. Now the pinto beans are the best they are like light pinto beans i have no idea where they get them like that but they are really good the rice is also tasty. Secondly I recommend their horchata and the shrimp quesadilla but with no onion.
