Is there something in the water that makes it impossible for someone in the Bay to make a truly great taco, while in Los Angeles you can pull up to a random stand and have one of the best tacos of your life? Probably why broth lacked "boldness". Came boiling hot. Accompanied with 3 corn tortillas, lime squeeze, oregano, raw onions bits, chili pods..the former is eaten alongside soup. The latter added to hot menudo soup to add "depth". *wasn't enough to remedy shortcomings Menudo is a common panacea for persons having an hangover on the weekend. They have menudo and pozole, rich and flavorful but not too greasy, high-quality without getting too fancy. Generous portions, fresh tortilla chips, lots of yummy salsas, and plenty of Mexican sodas. Great taco Tuesday prices too! The entire place is covered in tiles and bright colors, the service is great, and they can accommodate custom orders like no dairy or crispy tortillas (if you ask nicely). It was my first time here and after traveling over 10 hours that restaurant was definitely the best! Antonio was my server and he'd make sure to check on me as frequent as he could.
