While driving out of the parking lot from Staples, this caught my eye. It was already past 8pm, but I see patrons are in and out. The food must be good. I came in lined up, checked on the menu and the specials on the wall. I asked if they serve breakfast all day and the sales person said Yes. Yay!! I ordered Huevos Con Bistec (Steak and Eggs). I didn't want the hash browns so I ask if they can substitute it with rice. They were happy to do it with out an extra charge. Wow extra points. The Steak was tasty and surprisingly tender. Tummy satisfied. While waiting for your order, They give free nachos with mild spicy dipping sauce. A few tables weren't occupied and I chose one. No wonder this place is busy. Food is good. Wanted a breakfast burrito and my hubby was feeling under the weather, so I searched for chicken tortilla soup and this place came up. I called and asked, but they didn't have the chicken tortilla soup, just regular chicken. So I figured I'd get it and got myself a breakfast burrito, which had bacon, ham, eggs and the usual stuff. Drove there, took maybe 5-6 minutes and my food was ready. The place is nice, well lit and clean. The lady at the front gave me my order and I was on my merry way. The burrito was cheap, 8 bucks and some change but the chicken soup was almost $15! Still, it was nicely packed and came with a bunch of sides and hit the spot! Twice a week, I go on a hunt for a good breakfast burrito while I make my slow drive through morning rush hour traffic to get from work to school. This morning I stopped at Dollar Tree to grab a pencil before class and I stumbled upon this place in the same strip mall. A quick search on Yelp confirmed they sell breakfast burritos so I walked on over. The ladies inside were very friendly and helpful. I had my burrito in just a few minutes and let me tell you, it was so tasty! Inside the burrito was bacon, ham, hash browns, eggs, and salsa/pico de gallo. There's no cheese, which was great for me as I don't need my stomach to be reminding me of my food allergies while I try to make it through 3 hours of class. The flavors were well balanced and not heavy/greasy. I tried both their red and green salsa. Both were great, I'd lean towards the green for this, but the burrito really didn't need anything extra. I'll definitely be back to try more items. Bonus points for being easy to get to with plenty of free parking. Was pleasantly surprised by my great-tasting burrito here. There must be a hundred of these low-key Mexican mini-mall Mom and Pop shops throughout the valley. Most are just okay, many give me a tummy ache. But my veggie burrito here tasted fresh and delicious. Comes with 2 small salsas, a dark red one (too spicy for me) and a mellower orange one with a little kick and a lot of flavor. A yelp check-in gets you a free small chips and salsa that's just okay. The service is attentive, quick, and very family oriented. The employees at this establishment even know my family's names. Favorite Mexican restaurant in the valley for sure. We were in the area and were undecided on what to eat and where to eat so we yelped it and decided to come here since the yelp reviews were pretty good. As we pulled into the parking lot, we noticed inside the restaurant was pretty full with customers so we told each other that this restaurant must be really good. When we opened the doors, I was really surprised that you had to order at the counter rather then the waitress coming to you which doesn't feel like a restaurant. The lady behind the counter was very pleasant and helpful with me making a food decision. The partner and I are both on keto so we had to find something to eat keto friendly. Since they do not have tostada's, taco salad or some kind of taco bowl, we both decided to get a chili relleno and a cerveza each. Once you are done ordering, you are given a number and then you go find a seat. I checked in on yelp and was provided chips and salsa which most Mexican restaurant's that I have been to give you chips and salsa free. The waitress on duty brought out our cerveza's along with the chips and salsa which I was even more surprised to see that my chips came to our table on a paper plate. I have always said that if the chips and salsa are good then you know the food will be good but if a Mexican restaurant can't get the easiest thing to make right, then you know the food will be horrible. In this case, the salsa had no flavor and tasted as if I was eating a juicy can of tomatoes without the tomatoes. As we were sitting chatting, there are several tv's for your entertainment along with loud music playing in the background where at several instances it was pretty hard to carry on a conversation. The food came out shortly and when it did, I was surprised to see my main meal on a paper plate. I have never ever been to a restaurant where you are served on paper plates when the food isn't cheap and they can definitely afford real plates. Now on to the food: The chili relleno was battered but everything about this dish was disgusting. The relleno was as cold as can be inside and out and the cheese they use is horrible. There was absolutely no sauce on the relleno and it was as dry as can be. We both took bites since that was all we could stomach and threw the rest away and said to each other that this was the absolute worst Mexican restaurant that both of us have ever been to and definetely will not be back and recommend everyone who reads this to stay away from their chili relleno's read more

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place. I have been coming here since '97, back when I was in college. My roommate and I would take the bus (yes, public transportation....just to eat here) back when Tacos El Zorro was located on Sherman Way and Woodman. When you arrive there, the parking is shared by a laundry mat, a Filipino restaurant, a billiard hall, and a Peruvian restaurant. Inside, you place your order at the cashier. They take cash OR ATM (not credit card). There is a 50 cent charge if you pay with the ATM. If you dine there, take a seat after you've ordered (and paid) and the waitress will bring your order to your table with a small, I mean SMALL order of chips and salsa. If you've come for tacos or burritos, they're just "ok". I LOVE their super nachos, which I kind of invented because I would go there and order nachos with jalapenos, onions, avocado, tomatoes, sour cream and carne asada. I would literally list it out on EVERY order until one day the cashier says, "Oh, the SUPER nachos." Yes, so I will take credit for that creation. LoL. Why is this my favorite place for nachos? Because they actually use nacho cheese instead of shredded cheese! I love to dump a packet of salt and their salsa verde all over. OMG...yum! read more

If there is a mom and pop best mexican restaurant in the valley, this is it! Been coming here with my other half for a long time. Food is fresh and tasty! First of all Love the ceviche here. They mix it with fish and shrimp with lime...absolutely delicious. The prices here are affordable and offer good prices for a lot of food. Try their 6.99 combo all day meals!
