Great wood fired chicken right in front of you. Excellent flavor! Wait is a bit long but worth it. I love trying these little hole in the wall places where the line is always really long so it must be amazing and it is. I got the whole chicken with the salsa and the tortillas and I asked for cilantro on the side. Amazing yummy food you must try.

Plain and simple, they Sell chicken. They do it well. Simple Mexican chicken booth. With a BBQ outside where you can smell the cooking chicken. Service is friendly, kinda dicey vibe

    Best chicken in town .

Delicious and super tasty chicken...the service is fantastic... for quicker service, call in your order or face the long line, it is typically a 30 min wait time...but it is worth it IMO...

The smell and the smoke will draw you to this excellent chicken stand. Real char broiled chicken. The mini burritos are excellent. I just get beans and rice and cilantro. My family loves everything here. If you love chicken, you have to come try this chicken you will drive from Myles to get it. You get extra customer service and patience with you. Non-speaking Spanish individuals like myself.

First thing is first for the fastest service, call in and make your order before you go. You can watch them as they fire grill the chicken with Mesquite wood You can even order carne asada slabs on the side which are chef's kiss Salsas are the Best as well not watered down But more chuncky the rice and beans cooked to perfection , down to the best handmade flour tortillas. This place is a must my grandparents used to bring me here since i was a kid and will forever have a place in my heart The taste in over 10 years hasn't changed but gotten better being a longtime customer i'm so happy this place still stands with it being a part of my childhood

This place is super delicious and tasty. The wait can be a little discouraging but I honestly love this chicken spot. Their pollo enchilado is so good spicy but delicious. We ordered a family pack and yes we had to wait but it was worth it. I definitely recommend calling in the order so you're not waiting around. The chicken is grilled to perfection and their sides are amazing

Pésimo servicio 45 minutos de espera y para que te den la orden horrible el pollo con sangre.

Waiting 15-20 minutes for our meal but well worth it

Our go to place for chicken, Carne Asada and nopalitos always a family favorite, call ahead of time with order warning long wait during holidays. Hole in the wall don't expect a high end appearance,

The best Pollo al Carbon in the Valley. My dad used to bring this home when I was a kid and it was my favorite. I just tried it again after 7 years and it is as good as I remember. The green salsa is - Highly recommend this place!!!

We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and everything was presented really well. The enchiladas were flavorful, the grilled fish was cooked perfectly, and the tortillas with the short rib were a table favorite. Portions were great for sharing, and the sauces really tied everything together. Service was friendly and our server checked in on us throughout the night without making us feel rushed. It did get a little busy, so there were a few waits between courses, but nothing that took away from the experience. Overall Great atmosphere, solid food, and a fun place for birthdays or date nights. I'd definitely come back!!

Our waiter then told us we needed a specific Dine LA reservation, something that was never mentioned when I called or when I made the reservation. I've been to plenty of Dine LA restaurants and have never experienced this. The service wasn't necessarily bad, but it was very dismissive. No apology, no real explanation--they basically just brushed it off. Thankfully, the food saved the night! The Michelada oysters were TO DIE FOR--seriously one of the best oyster flavors I've ever had. We also had the short rib plate, which was delicious. The outdoor atmosphere and decor are really cute too. I would come back, but ONLY for those oysters--definitely not for the service.

Sonoratown was our first stop as it was highly recommended by my boyfriend's brother, and it did not disappoint. It immediately earned a spot in our top five favorite taco spots for carne asada in all of Southern California! The location that we went to is located in between Elysium DTLA and Perfumeria Starlux on E 8th St in downtown LA. There is only paid(?) street parking around the area that could be extremely difficult to find during work days. Because we couldn't snag a spot, my friends and I opted for takeout and didn't end up eating until about 30 minutes later. Despite the travel time, the tacos were still absolutely incredible--I can only imagine how spectacular it tastes fresh! My friends and I ordered the carne asada tacos, and my boyfriend opted for the cabeza. Before I even took a full bite, I tasted a piece of the loose carne asada and was blown away; it was perfectly cooked with a wonderful tenderness and deep smokiness. The use of a single, thin, handmade flour tortilla--rather than the standard double corn--was a total game-changer and exactly how I preferred my tacos. The salsas were equally impressive, offering fantastic flavor and a great kick. My boyfriend's cabeza taco was just as standout, featuring super-tender meat with a rich, savory profile. Wowowow! Between the exceptional meat quality, bold flavors, and great value, this is easily one of the best taco spots I've visited. It's a huge bummer that they don't have a location down in San Diego, but we will definitely be back!

Cute building with lovely patio seating: from the trailing hanging pothos plants, Spanish tiles, to relaxing latin-house music the vibes were welcoming. I'm not much of a drinker though, when asked if I wanted to make my pina colada a "float" I thought incorrectly about ice cream. It was graciously explained that you take an additional shot of rum and float it on top of the drink or mix in to make it extra boozy. The pina colada is top notch they hollow out a real pineapple to make the drink and it's the size of your face! The watermelon cocktail was delicious and there is also a mezcal option. Tasted like if a watermelon aqua Fresca was combined with a margarita, there is a hint of salt that brings out the fruit sweetness. We special ordered a bunch of different proteins and vegetables at half portions to make a feast: Aguachile- Light refreshing starter, kanpachi perfectly marinated and great for the summer heat. Crispy potato- Phenomenally done fingerling potatoes. Whipped beans- Carnitas on top made this dish. Fried chicken tacos- Found the chicken slightly on the dry side, if there was a creamy/thicker sauce would be even better... nothing wrong with flavor, good mild heat. I did enjoy the fresh shredded cabbage and carrots, reminded me of bahn mi. Empanadas- Loved the acidity of the sauce that cut through the fattiness of the ground meat. Light shell. Crispy Squash flower- Delicate crunch, like an angelic version of a jalapeno popper. Lamb chops- Definition of "treat-yourself" luxurious meat lollipops. Celery salad- Simple dish but the lemon flavor and tartness really helped break up the richness of other dishes. Churros- Light crunch and small, petite dessert. The thin caramel sauce is addicting. Fine dining, for those special occasions or if you just want to splurge for a morale boost highly recommend this restaurant. Valet parking or park across the street or around the corner in a lot for $5-10.

It's fine, there nothing wrong with the food, but I, personally, don't think it's rave worthy. I've been here 2x now.
