So, I turned to TikTok, the treasure trove of foodie recommendations, hoping to discover something special. That's when I found this gem! I realized that this pop-up was actually just a street away from where I live, which made the decision even easier. Upon arriving, I encountered a bit of a wait--there were at least 15 folks ahead of me in line, eagerly anticipating their delicious orders. After standing in line for about 10 minutes, I could sense excitement building in the air as the line inched forward. As I observed the scene, I couldn't help but feel the buzz of anticipation surrounding me.. The flavors of sweet marinated pork and fresh pineapple have a way of dancing on your palate. I plan to capture a few photos to share once I'm a little closer to the front of the line. Got a taco dinner $10 rice, beans and 3 tacos and Agua fresca horchata So here's the review I got three tacos Al pastor 2/5 no flavor .. it was missing more citrus and seasoning, even the piña bites where bland Carne Asada 2/5 it taste like reheated leftovers in which he poured all the meat on the plancha Pollo 4/5 had seasoning Rice 4/5 flavorful Beans 2/5 no flavor ,pinto beans Horchata 3/5 overly sweet Overall they hype is not what you think. Tacos are affordable,Agua frescas $5 Will I be back probably not.

LOVE this place! I like the buche, Al pastor, tripa, and cabeza. The al pastor is probably my fav(nice and LAYERED pieces of Al pastor‍) with a nice crunch but a clear sweetness and flavor. The tripa is S Tier in my head too(really crunchy) and the cabeza was solid but not outstanding along with the buche(good texture but lacked in flavor). Salsas are decent as well but al pastor is definitely a no brained if you're coming here. Parking usually in the lot (not sure if it's the same since it changed last time) but still not bad and worth it for sure. Service is no frills and expect a line.

From what I understand, this stand is a long time stalwart of the Long Beach taco community. I was in the area or at least passing through and I really wanted to try their al pastor tacos. I also like this place because it has a DIY toppings and salsa bar with fresh produce. I thought that al pastor tacos here were very tasty. When you get the tacos before putting on all the toppings, you can see all the seasoned ridges and layers when they slice the meat really thin. I also got a strawberry horchata or aqua fresca to wash everything down. They give you a really large cup and I couldn't finish everything but I thought that too was tasty. The service here is quick and friendly. I can see why people like coming here. The five years pretty lively because there seems to be always a line depending on what time of day or night you are here.

I loved coming here during my time in LB, and I HAD to stop by again being in the area last night. They operate late at night for those that have the late night munchies. They are a street vendor but this is basically where they are always set up, no physical store. Their food is soo good for their price too, $10 for a burrito that's bigger and more filled than a burrito from a Mexican franchise. I got an Al Pastor Burrito everything on it with no frijole, be careful tho because the sauce and grease will seep through the aluminum foil they wrap it in. The service is pretty good too, they take your order right then and there and start making it. Payment is either Cash or Zelle and that'll be at the end before you recieve your order. They also have a toppings/sauce table where you can get as much as you want, it's just the traditional toppings like cilantro, onion, lime, green/red sauce etc.

If I lived closer to here I'd come here damn near every weekend. The flavor is there! Decent prices with $2.50 a taco. Taco Dinner came with 3 tacos, rice and beans. The asada was amazing. Such good flavor and tender meat -- one of my favorites I've had in LBC. Out of the pastor and asada, I'd only get asada next time. Salsas: can't go wrong with any. The red one was super spicy tho! Parking -- easy to find in the lot behind them. In a popular strip mall off of PCH. Service -- fast, nice and have everything you need for a good taco stand including aguas frescas. Can pay via Zelle.

The best tacos in the town, no question about this. I play in a basketball league in Seal Beach and my friend asked for tacos in the town. This place appeared and it was the best decision. Now, it's a new tradition for me to go to this place after the league game. The people are warm and easy to order from. It got that tacos atmosphere that you're looking for. Nothing beat this.

The wait is not very long.

We were in the mood for tacos and there was so many options but I am glad we decided to give this place a try. The service couldn't have been any better especially for how busy they were while we were there. We ordered tacos de carne asada and al pastor and they were so delicious! We also ordered a carne asada quesadilla. The food was definitely delicious, some of the best tacos I've had. I also liked how they had the toppings/salsa set up so we can get as much as we'd like. If I'm in the area, I will definitely be back! Thank you again!

The best tacos in the traffic circle area! Even when they have a line around the corner, it's still quick and efficient service! The prices are well worth it also... it's common to see tacos for 5-7 dollars around this area, but I can get 4 Al pastor tacos and a Fresca for 20 bucks at this place! Sadly, the neighboring car shop and the plaza next to the pop up have restricted parking and will tow if you park there but please don't let that deter you from eating at this lovely spot. There is parking on the street available (see photo). Please be respectful if parking in the neighborhood adjacent from the corner, a lot of residents rely if street parking! :) Please give this place a try and you won't regret it! Salsa is bomb also!!!

They're always located near an Auto Mechanics Shop on Clark and Atherton in Long Beach!

    Are they licensed? Health department

    yes

Do they have whole beans for burritos? Or are they refried?

Theyre refried from what i remember

What forms of payment do they accept?

    Cash only at the time

    Do they serve fish tacos?

No fish tacos. The following is what they have listed on their poster board: pastor, asada, cebeza, lengua, pollo and chorizo.

Do they offer pickup? If so, is there a phone number?

Technically, yes there is pick-up option. But you have to wait in line to order and receive it. There is no phone number that I know of plus this isn't that type of place.

Guisados has a special place in my heart. When I worked in Boyle heights, it was our go to place…read morefor lunch so I was pleasantly surprised to find a new guisados in Long Beach, so close to home. The food is always so good! My go to is the sampler to get a little of everything. The cochinita pibil is one of my all time favorites and the mole poblano. Absolutely delicious!! The service here is good. We didn't necessarily have a great experience though. They messed up our order and we never got it fixed. We just happened to be there when there was a big party there too and it seemed like staff was a bit flustered. I told the workers about our order and they just forgot. We waited for over 15 min and when I went up to ask again, they realized they had forgotten about us and hadn't made our correct order so we decided to leave it and just go. Regardless of that hiccup, the staff were very friendly and they were apologetic about the situation. I would come back for sure and give it another try. The Boyle heights location has always been on top of it and I've never experienced a bad visit so I wouldn't say this location is bad off of one visit. The space is small and has inside and outside seating. We tried to eat outside but that bigger party took up a lot of the seats out there. They have a beautiful mural inside too and we luckily got a table. Overall, guisados is a must and I'm happy there's a location closer to me now.
