My son was playing at a soccer game in the finals in San Antonio a couple weekends ago and I was able to go watch him and his team play. After the game, we went to the Tacos Vitali not far from UTSA Soccer complex where they played. We got a table inside and ordered a pack of 6 tacos to share. They were ready quickly and were really good. The place looked to be in an old Sonic type of restaurant with a drive through. They had inside and outside seating. I don't think they have these in Austin, but it's a cool concept!

Food was done quickly I ordered through yelp, clean inside and out, drive thru seemed to be moving pretty quickly, staff very friendly, I got the tacos bistec and it was very yummy I even added extra queso fresco and avocado. It was a little greasy so took off a star for that but I would definitely go back.

A great place to come with friends for some fast and good tacos! I loved the big TV outside my husband was entertained by the game. I really loved the quesadilla with avocado, the cheese is delicious and so was the sauces. It was busy but they moved pretty fast.

Good: 3/5 - wife and I ordered their beef and pork mini tacos. Overall we preferred the pork over the beef but found the pork slightly dry. One annoying thing was the salsa packets. Tasty but hard to open. Ambience: 3/5 - Nothing fancy. You order at counter, go pick up order when ready. We sat outside so trying to manage food limes napkins etc with breeze is fun.

Went to one of my old favorite taco spots in San Antonio called Tacos Vitali. They're like a drive in with outdoor seating as well as a drive thru. I got their 6 taco set with mixto meat (half bisteck and trompo). The tacos came with a cup of bean soup, 2 salsa bags, a lime, and a ball of grilled onions. I've never had salsa in a bag before, it was a little difficult to open but they had slits already placed for you. I thought it wouldn't be enough for the 6 tacos but it was just the right amount. The meat in general didn't hit as much as I remembered. The bisteck was still good and tender, the trompo however was a little tougher. The tortillas were really moist as well so some of them broke apart really easily. The soup was just ok this time too. This place is still solid but I was disappointed knowing that it can be better

TLDR: If you like Mexican 'Street Tacos', this place is for you! The street taco plate here is to die for. Get the 'bistek' (Mexican style beef) and enjoy some of the best there are around San Antonio. Love the inclusion of the grilled onions, cilantro, salsa, limes, and even a couple little potatoes. I'd highly recommend adding the avocado slices as well, you'll be in heaven. Also, the beans are only a small portion but they're absolutely delicious, I want their recipe. Parking is plentiful, the layout is a little odd, as I think this location used to be a Sonic's based on the diagonal parking. Note that there are only 3-4 small tables inside, and the outside tables have no shelter from the sun, wind, or rain. Highly recommend you get this to go. That said, this place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either.

One of the BEST, if not thee BEST street Taquito joints in all of San Antonio! They have brought delicious flavors to the San Antonio area and we're proud to have them here! I've tried almost every single thing on the menu and have never been disappointed! Looking forward to seeing what my fellow yelpers think!

    Tacos asada

We have been wanting to try this place for a while! They have a small menu which made things easy. I ordered the tacos asada. Unfortunately, the woman who took our order heard "papa asada." We didn't realize it until our food was ready. We tried to give back the food (untouched, unopened) and they wouldn't take it. Quite frankly, the woman said I should have noticed she rang up the wrong thing when I was ordering and let her know. My husband had tacos so we just went with it. Anyways, the papa was good. Just not what I wanted. We would come back, but be more thorough when ordering I guess.

    The tacos de bistec

Service is not good! They made us feel rushed to order and the cashier seemed like he didn't want to be there. He would answer with sarcasm. The food was alright but the tortilla ripped after trying to pick up the tacos. I ordered also an horchata and it was the nastiest horchata I have tried. The beans were okay. The night was nice so sitting outside was relaxing. They charge you for two orders if you want to do two meats. So it's really overpriced. I will for sure not come back. There is a lot of better taco places to choose from that are actually good and at better price.

Ok. Saw the TikTok and here I am. Ordered the combo with a quesadilla and drink with beans. I opted for mix pork/beef. It was good. Also ordered three street tacos. Good too. Now here's the deal. It's just ok. Maybe it's more nostalgic for others but for me it wasn't memorable. The prices are ok. One last thing. I watched a manager take a sold plate of tacos back from the customer and hand them to the kitchen. This is unacceptable. Once that good goes out don't ever take it back to the kitchen.

Yummy, Yummy! I don't know San Antonio that well, so I just looked for a good taco place, and think God I found this, at the end I didn't eat tacos, but I ate a delicious steak quesadilla, surprised me that it came with a side of frijoles, a good Mexican Coke , the perfect mix. Nice ambience, good service, good food, I recommend it.

    Fresh Al Pastor.
    Andrew C.

This place is really good. It's a little pricey but I get it. Everyone has rent to pay. The Trompo Al pastor was very flavorful and the Brisket was as well. The tortillas were your basic corn store bought flavor but the thinly sliced cilantro and onion was made it all come together. Came with butter sautéed onions too! Try it with that green sauce and you'll be glad you did. The beans were underwhelming but a little more spice and they would be some of the best in the area. This spot beats Taqueria Datapoint by a mile.

Tender and flavorful meat. Meal is a bargain for the price. Plenty of parking. Get it to go. Was a Sonic so dining is out doors.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

Our server was very friendly, attentive, and made sure to check on us throughout the meal. The drinks were definitely generous with the alcohol, which we appreciated. However, my piña colada was not quite what I expected. It had more of a milky consistency rather than the icy, blended texture I usually associate with a piña colada. As for the food, it was decent but nothing particularly memorable. I was especially looking forward to the paella, but unfortunately the rice tasted a bit sour, which was disappointing. Overall, the service and atmosphere were the highlights of the experience, while the food left some room for improvement.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. Not sure if the Italian side and the cantina side share the same kitchen, but we will remember to come back and try that side as well. If the Italian menu and preparation is as unique as the cantina's, it will be a worthy adventure. For our appetizer we got the cheese dish pictured. I can not recall the name, but the cheese is a cool light cheese served in a warm tomato-based sauce, topped with slices of fresh avocados and chicharones and was served with flour and corn tortillas. Very delicious! As mentioned in the opening...the menu, preparation, and presentation at Panfila is unique. For our entrees my wife got the chile Relleno and I got the Milanese con Mole. The chile Relleno was served in a bowl with just an absolutely fabulous sauce and stuffed and covered with nicely melted cheese. The Milanese con Mole was absolutely decadent! The tender pork was lightly fried and covered in the most delicious mole that I have ever eaten. The chocolate was a little more prominent in the flavor profile than I am used to; and I wouldn't think that I would like that, but it was perfect! I enjoyed every bite and used the extra tortillas from our appetizer to finish off the mole. Highly recommend anything on the menu that incorporates that mole!! Fantastic place!
