My hubby decided since he couldn't choose between my two favorite food types we would try a place that had both. The jalapeño corn queso was yummy yummy and ditto on the pan seared mozzarella. We tried the French Onion pizza special to split which was great that night and the next day. Tico tacos was hubby's choice and they had a bit too much of everything except the fish for $14. I let him eat the fish out of mine and he ate one after taking out some of the extra toppings. I got two cocktails and they were interesting, but nothing to write home about. I could order that for a meal alone. They also have bottomless mimosas for $10. True to the "29605 is a way of life" mentality...could not be more unwelcoming. We were one of three parties in the place and after 5-7 minutes of several staff walking by but not acknowledging us, we left. This was after the hostess said our waitress would be right there and then had to go grab her, then she still didn't make it over. Can't say anything about the food. Never tried it. read more

I've been ordering takeout from Tacozzini during the Covid 19 time- they are doing a GREAT job! The pizzas are every bit as delicious as take out as they are eating in (we love the Mighty Green with the Cauliflower crust) they have it ready in a jiffy and bring it to your car. You can pay over the phone to speed up the process and minimize contact even more and they are so appreciative of your business. It is a pleasure to support them through this time and I wish them all the best!! Where do I start? Tacozzini is I N C R E D I B L E. From the front door to the table, I've never felt more welcome. The staff greets you at your door, if the place isn't booming (because it's amazing) you'll be sat near instantly. The menu is clear, concise, to the point, and DELICIOUS. We had the spinster, and a bold rock cider to start - and delicious as always. We chose the sloppy joe sliders, those were amazing! For entrees, my girlfriend and I both enjoyed two pizzas prepared by Chef Robs amazing team - the Guinness Pub Pie and the Chipotle Sloppy Joe! Words can't describe how delicious they were. Amazing crust, amazing taste, unexplainable clash of the taste buds leave you wanting more. I love this place! It's what Greenville needs, and I firmly believe this place will survive for many many years - and will leave other restaurants wanting to be what Tacozzini is, A God amongst food. First time at this place. My coworkers and I were planning to go get sandwiches from another business next door but decided to come in here instead. The concept of the restaurant is simple - tacos and pizza. They have lunch specials for both pizza and tacos. It comes with a side salad and a drink. The pizza special is for 2 people though. Two of us order the pizza special to split between us and the other person ordered a taco special. We got the Guinness pub pizza which was pretty good. For my salad I got the lavender blueberry vinegarette. It was a little tangy but I liked it. They don't really have a lot of options if you have food restrictions or you're on a special diet but they are willing to work around your request. The restaurant has a trendy rustic feel/ambiance. There's a bar beyond the dining area and it looks like they serve craft cocktails. Which sound delicious which we would like to try when we come back when we're not on the clock :) Parking might be challenging during the lunch rush because there are other food places in the same complex. But might be able to fond some street parking on the side street. All in all it's a good place to grab lunch but I think they should offer other options on the menu for those who are on food restrictions. read more

Was in town for work and the menu sounded intriguing. The food ended up being so good we went back a second time before we left town. Really anything on the menu is great. Our servers were prompt and attentive both times. Drinks were good too. They've got some good local beer options too. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the noise level on the Friday we went there. There was a group of 20 or 30 college girls in the bar, and not much acoustic treatment in the restaurant. The three of us had to practically shout to hear each other across the table. Go here on a Monday or Tuesday evening though and you'll be fine. Great food and great service! read more

Kept drinks full, checked back frequently. Started with a wedge salad with quality blue cheese crumbles and tidbits of bacon. Next went for the Tico Tacos (blackened fish tacos)! Oh my goodness!!! I was moaning with delight on every bite! They were packed full of fresh blackened grouper, avocado, jalapeño slaw (not spicy) and mango salsa (not to sweet). The pulled pork on the taco was incredibly flavorful as was the slaw. It was a BIG portion of meat! The pizza was also very good with a nice balance of heat, sweet and savory. The pie is a good enough size to split between two adults. Our only complaint was that you had to order the tacos in pairs; you couldn't get the tacos a la carte. While the pizza had great flavor, the spice level was almost too hot and enjoy spicy food. Don't let candied jalapeños fool you they will fire you up with their seeds. Cut the heat a little and Id have ordered two. Buffalo chicken tacos were good but a little light on the buffalo. The blue cheese slaw overpowered it a little. Pick pick I know.
