Tai Li relocated and combined restaurants with Fujiya. Lai Lu is basically a Chinese restaurant with hot and sour chicken, egg foo yung, etc. Fujiya is a Japanese restaurant with sushi, etc. Now here when it gets interesting. The menu is not a cushion of the two cultures. Their menus are separate and pretty much the same as when they weren't co-housed. Tai Li food remains delicious. It's certainly busier now and something the Fujiya wait staff is not as familiar with some of off menu foods that Tai li has offered for years. Over the "fusion" works.

Stopped in for dinner and had such a wonderful experience! We were warmly greeted and seated right away. We started with the steamed dumplings, which were absolutely delicious. The general Tso's was crispy and flavorful with a tasty sauce, and the chicken lo mein was really flavorful too. Portions were quite generous. Definitely would recommend!

Tai Li is always so very good. The portions are huge and it's always fresh and hot. Got some to go and as always they knocked it out of the park.

Chicken w.Garlic Sauce. Tasted and smelled like fish. Straight to garbage.

Ordered on Uber Eats. The crispy honey chicken had a very strong fishy flavor and smell. I Could not eat it. Threw the entire meal away. I'm staying at a hotel and ordered a few meals to last a few days and by the time I tried the crispy chicken, it was outside the return window. Also, the meals are too expensive to not include pork fried rice or crispy noodles. I even paid extra for fried rice and requested in the notes for pork fried rice but did not receive it. The fried rice was tasteless and had a nothing in it but a couple peas and a couple pieces of carrot. The cashew chicken was okay. The wonton soup and edamame was good.

My friend and I went for dinner here after my parents recommended we went at very busy time so we did wait a while for someone to take the order and food to come out but it was worth the wait. FOOD WAS AMAZING! Space is chill, server was very polite kept apologizing for the tardiness. We will be back ! So yummy

Tai li is an interesting restaurant with both Chinese and Japanese menu. The Japanese food seems pretty good and a decent deal. The sushi is two rolls for 10 dollars which is pretty cheap. I ordered the unagi don which was just eel on sushi rice. It was pretty good and I'd get it again. Service was excellent and the waitstaff spoke Chinese with my grandfather to ensure that he was able to order something that he liked. My grandfather seemed satisfied with his meal and really liked how our waitress made sure we were happy. Our drinks were refilled often and our food came out rapidly, though not all at the same time.

Ordered the general tsos off the lunch menu today and it was so delicious!! Such a great lunch menu, the entree came with rice, an egg roll and choice of a soup for only like $9!! We also ordered the crab puffs and they were perfectly cooked. We ordered delivery and they came so fast. Will definitely be ordering regularly from here.

This is my go to Chinese spot. Singapore noodles, sesame or general joes chicken, house special fried rice can't go wrong with any of these.

For the latter, it's gotten to a point where no other Vietnamese spot has come close. For pho seekers who happen to be in Humble, Pho Dien 1960 is an absolute must. The place is small, but they've stacked their small dining room into a very group friendly setup consisting of small booths and tables. The stale air quality is reminiscent of old school spots around town and the young Viet guys running the joint keep the place friendly and efficient. In terms of the pho, there are no complaints. The broth skews somewhat sweet, but it's aromatic enough for me to normally slurp it completely dry. Their best asset has been the meat, which is excellent. Their combination dac biet is an excellent variety that includes meatball, tripe, flank, and some of the best rare steak and tendon I've had. The latter is buttery and smooth enough to where I can't get enough. I tend to order it in their XL (xe lua) size, which is an off-menu item that goes for nearly $20 ($19.45) and is one of the largest bowls I've seen. I always look forward to getting it. While their banh mi and bun dishes are not nearly the same caliber, they still pass the test as a quality offering. The cha gio is a bit paltry, without any greens and a small bowl of semi-spicy nuoc mam (fish sauce). Their Vietnamese coffee is chocolate-y, and perfect for to-go. Their weekday lunch combo special is a good deal, in which one can come in for a small or medium sized pho and get an order of two cha gio or goi cuon with an iced tea. Parking is really easy on the weekends, especially since most of the businesses in the strip mall are closed. It may feel a tad more expensive ($12-18 per most entrees) but this is the price one pays in suburbia without having to head to any of the enclaves.

We had a party of 7 and did order on the promotion items as described by the restaurant. But after paying I was recalculated the amount of the bill and found out they overcharged us. We had 5 pad Thai and none of them was discounted. They only discounted the curry dishes When asked the server Emili used the excuse that she forgot to do that in the system. Really???? I understand you may forgot to take off one item on the bill but 5??? That's more like intentional than a purely mistake. I did tell the manager about the issue and they did give me the discount as in their promotion but I felt very bad to be scammed like that. The manager did apologize but I don't see any sincerity on his part neither. I strongly suggest the management should review their policies and definitely should not scam your customers. A friend and I were visiting Houston for a few days and were looking to binge on good Indian food…read morethat texan Indians are always boasting about. This place didn't disappoint. We ate our hearts out and enjoyed every dish we ordered. We started with goat bone soup which took me back to my childhood when we used to eat at the dhabas on the highways during our family trips. It tasted exactly the same, peppery spicy and delicious! We also had veg kal dosa, cut mirchi and gongura mutton curry. Cut mirchi was so delicately made and it melted in my mouth. Dosas were great with the gongura mutton. The quantities were generous and prices were reasonable for the quality. Service was awesome! I am officially jealous of the people who could eat this food whenever they want to.

1/5 Stars - By far the worst Indian dining experience I've had in recent memory. I would give this…read morerating less than 1 star if that was an option. Here's the summary: Subpar Food - Entirely lacked authentic flavor; tandoori chicken arrived lukewarm (tasting microwaved), and "extra hot" korma had zero spice or taste. Inattentive Service - Required flagging down staff just to place an initial order. Hidden Charges - Unlabeled table water bottles were covertly billed without prior disclosure. Questionable Payment Practices - Staff demanded blind payment on a card reader, refusing to show an itemized bill beforehand until insistence forced them to cancel the screen. If you'd like to know more: The food lacked any authentic flavor or expected preparation. The tandoori chicken, usually served sizzling on a hot plate (my experience at other Indian restaurants), arrived lukewarm, tasting as though it had simply been microwaved. Both the korma and the dishes requested at an "extra hot" spice level were entirely devoid of flavor and heat. Service was equally disappointing, requiring us to flag down a waiter just to place an initial order. Compounding the poor experience, two bottles of water left on the table were billed at $1 each without any prior disclosure or mention from the staff. Most concerning was the payment process: the waiter presented a card scanner with a total, refusing to provide an itemized bill beforehand and stating we could only see it after paying. (Only after insisting did the waiter cancel the payment screen so I could review the charges). Between the subpar food, inattentive service, and questionable billing practices, this establishment feels shady and untrustworthy. I cannot recommend it and will not be returning.
