Mango lassi is a homemade yogurt drink with mango pulp. From my experience, the mango lassi has an amazing authentic taste.

Taj Mahal Indian cuisine * Abundant energy *Accepting vibes *joyful experiences A place your family can sit and feel comfortable, comfortable knowing your food is made with love . With every single bite I feel my soul healing . Taj Mahal is a place i sat in silence, feeling myself balancing within.

Hot weather always makes me crave Indian food, so I was excited to see that, in the 15 years since I left, Redding has "expanded" its cultural cuisine. The food was ordered through Door Dash and the well-packaged meal (styrofoam) was delivered quickly and hot. We ordered vegetable pakoras, plain naan, chicken tikka masala, and gulab jabun and paired it with a California Riesling (also delivered). The chicken tikka masala chicken was tough and dry, but the sauce was flavorful. The naan was fresh in its chewy crisp goodness. The pakoras are heavy handed on the chickpea batter and spices, but I liked it. I didn't think you could mess up gulab jabun. It tastes like store-bought stale plain donut holes drowned in watered-down honey and sprinkled with McCorrmick cardamom. I'm giving 3 stars because the protein was uneatable and the massive portion of rice wasteful. I don't know if it's because of rising inflation, but this Indian restaurant is the most expensive I've patronized within an 8-hour driving area. Pretty ridiculous.

been here a few times. would never come back. the service is the worst. one time we sat at our table for 20 mins, server came and we ordered water, 5-10 mins later she comes back to take our food order. food arrives probably 20 mins later and i asked for my water again, ate a few bites and was so thirsty i waited but she never came back from the back. i had to leave and buy a water at the smoke shop because i was so thirsty and had extra spicy chicken tikka masala. the water never came. we paid and left never to return. i also can't justify spending the 20$ dollars on chicken in marinara sauce. where's the spice? where's the flavor. chicken was dry and tough. being from LA and traveled a lot... this indian food ain't it. better off getting the frozen meals from trader joe's... just saying. for real, amazing indian food i go to the pubjabi food truck. it's out of this world.

Just ordered Biryani and Kadai paneer from Taj Mahal. The food was overheated mess! It burnt our fingers. Paneer and chicken were dry and hard Cooked in ready to eat tomato sauce, which was over-spiced with chilli powder. Rice was undercooked. How do you get away with such terrible food?

    Mold food

Garbage food upfront they seems to be nice, but they pack all the leftover and molded food. I got sick with the food. I'm not coming back anymore.

The hostess was very rude and I'd not recommend eating here.

I just had appetizers, but these were the biggest portions I've ever seen in an Indian restaurant. Very fast and friendly service.

The place was busy with mostly locals (always a good sign), but everything still ran smoothly. My server Jaggi P really made the experience. He was on top of everything without being pushy -- checking in at the right times, making sure I had what I needed, and just genuinely attentive. The service alone made this place stand out. Food came out super quick, which I appreciated after being on the road all day. I ordered goat curry (medium), spicy naan, cucumber raita, and onion salad. The curry was flavorful and comforting, naan had a nice kick, and everything tasted fresh. Portions were perfect for one person, filling but not heavy. Quality, quantity, and price were all really solid. The restaurant itself was very clean and well kept, which I always notice right away. Prices were also really reasonable for what you get. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I've tried a lot of Indian food in different cities, and while this was definitely better than many spots, it didn't quite hit that "best I've ever had" level. Still, it's absolutely worth stopping if you're passing through. Funny thing after about 8 PM the area started feeling like a ghost town but inside was warm, welcoming, and lively. Service definitely made this place shine, and I'd gladly stop again. Visited Feb 16, 2026 around 6:45 PM

OK, I checked it out a few weeks ago, but just sort of got around to doing a review now. Normally, I only do Indian food at restaurants that offer lunch buffets, I dunno, I guess that's how I started eating Indian food and I have my fave dishes. Oak Creek Ranch offers no buffet, but since I live here in Red Bluff, I gotta give it a try. Oak Creek Ranch is located out of the main part of town in the south. You can find Montgomery Road off of South Main Street. Turn right just before the freeway and it's like a frontage road to the freeway. Keep going, and it's on the right. If you get to the end of the road, you passed it, go back. I ordered to go since I was by myself and didn't wanna eat alone in a restaurant I never been to before. I ordered my fave Tandoori chicken that came with two drumstick and two thigh pieces. Also, tried the Chicken Tikka Masala and got some basmati rice to go with that. I spent way more than I would at a buffet, but the nearest Indian buffet is all the way in Sacramento over 2 hours away! The wait for the food wasn't too long and it smelled good in the car. I forgot to get some naan, but oh well, next time! I get home just maybe 10 minutes away and open up the food. I put the rice and Tikka Masala out on a plate. OK, I gotta say, the Tandoori chicken was really good, very tandoori tasting and tender, no struggling to pull the meat off with my teeth. The tikka masala was good, not too spicy and went well with the rice. I had leftovers for later. No leftovers allowed at buffets, so there's that. I'm glad I found a place for Indian food right here in Red Bluff, a town not known for restaurant diversity away from chain restaurants. I wonder if many people actually play golf here in the summer?

The butter chicken sauce was absolutely delicious, with a wonderful blend of spices that was rich and flavorful without being overpowering. It had lots of juicy, tender chunks of chicken and came with a serving of rice. The tandoori chicken was equally delicious . It was moist, flavorful, and I don't know what they're using in their marinade, but it was delicious. The portion size was generous--two thighs, two drumsticks, and a large serving of rice with vegetables. It felt like a great value for the price. I ordered takeout, so I can't comment on the dine-in service, but everyone I interacted with during pickup was friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
