I finally made it back to Tajrish Kabob 2 months ago, and it was such a treat! Been getting more often now all recent my to-go's and doordashes to deliver when I'm at this side of town. It had been months since I'd had Persian cuisine--my schedule has been so hectic lately--so walking back into this place felt like growing up with Persians. I used to dine here under the previous ownership, and I was so excited to see the beautiful renovations! I decided to pull up a seat at the bar this time, and I am so glad I did. I had the pleasure of meeting Pega, the sweetest server, and Todd, the new owner. They are truly wonderful people--so polite, welcoming, and clearly passionate about their craft. Todd puts so much heart into his recipes, focusing on organic, healthy, and incredibly flavorful dishes. I definitely went all out--I ended up ordering $97 worth of food just for myself! I enjoyed a delicious dinner of chicken boneless kabob with cherry rice, a hearty beef and chickpea stew, and a refreshing pomegranate drink. I couldn't resist getting some beef kabob and grape leaves to-go for later, too. To top it all off, they treated me to some lovely complimentary Persian tea, served with the most charming pastel-colored sugar cubes--one with rose buds, one with saffron, and another with a little letter "c" on it. It was such a thoughtful touch! Tajrish Kabob is officially my go-to spot whenever I'm in the area. As a bit of a picky foodie, I can honestly say every single bite was flavorful and delicious. If you haven't been yet, you absolutely have to stop by! A little pro-tip: Todd has also owned the popular Tochal Market in Westwood for over 20 years! I still need to make a trip over there myself. It's a favorite stop for many, including the amazing Persian artist Farzad Farzin. I think a dinner invite to Tajrish Kabob for him is definitely in order--Todd, you should make that happen! Check out Farzad here: https://www.instagram.com/farzadfarzin1?igsh=NTc4MTlwNjQ2YQ== Highly recommend giving this place a visit--it's a massive thumbs up from me! Mersi to the whole team for such a happy dining experience.

A really solid quick and casual Persian food option in Marina del Rey. It's located on the ground floor of a small strip center with plenty of free parking attached in front. Service was very fast and the menu is filled with all sorts of Persian classics that you would expect. Inside is not very large, but they also do a lot of orders to go. For this visit we decided to have lunch indoors for a party of four and it was a great experience. I started off with the Dolma which I was a very big fan of. They were very fresh and just had some great flavor. I find the best versions have tasty rice and soft leaves just like this one. I followed up with the Koobideh Kebab and that too was very good. It's basically the Persian meatball in stick form. The size was healthy and overall I was really happy with the meal. I would suggest.

We started with the Kashk Bademjon. The eggplant was flavorful and rich. We then had the Beef Barg Kabob and Albalo Polo with Lamb Shank. Both consisted of meat served with steamed multicolor basmati rice. The barg was very tender and came with grilled tomatoes, onions, and peppers. The lamb was well-marinated, and the sour cherries added a tart kick. Finally, we had Bamieh for dessert, which was like a cross between hangwa and gulab jamun.

Was looking to add another Halal restaurant to my delicious dinning experiences and Tajrish Kabob filled the bill. The service was pleasant professional and welcoming. There were multiple families seated in a modern style decor that complemented the atmosphere warmly. Ordered the Boneless Lamb Tenderloin plate to go. Not too long later my meal arrived well packaged and ready to go. Took this show on the road and I gave it a standing ovation for their performance. The Lamb was flavorful juicy and well prepared. They threw in a pack of Mixed Pickled SUMAC seasoning pairing well not only with the tender succulent pieces of Lamb but the Saffron Rice Roasted Onions and Bell Peppers as well. Tasty meal and worth the bite. Gratitude and give thanks Tajrish Kabob for a great meal experience and pleasant and welcoming hospitality. See you soon

I can't say enough good things about Persian Food at Tajrish! The service alone sets it apart. Marco and Pegah create an experience that is thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Marco, in particular, has been a constant for over a decade, even through the change in ownership, and it shows in how smoothly everything runs. That continuity, paired with the new owner's upgrades, has really elevated both the atmosphere and the food. And the food delivers every time. The ghormeh sabzi is rich and deeply flavorful, the chicken kabob is perfectly cooked, and the fresh salad balances everything out beautifully. Finishing the meal with authentic Persian tea and sweets is a must. The indoor outdoor seating is another bonus. It is a great spot whether you are going for a relaxed dinner or hosting friends. This place just gets it right, every time. Highly recommend!

Got the Ash Reshteh and the Chicken Barg with the Half Rice & Half Salad option for an additional $5.00. Everything was delicious. The first thing to arrive was the Pita Bread. It was thin and lightly toasted. The soup was savory and complemented the main entree. The salad was fresh. The dressing had a nice acidity (I believe they use lemon juice). The rice was cooked perfectly. The Chicken Barg was seasoned well and tender. Service was very friendly. No issues on parking.

Hands down best Persian spot in LA that I have eaten at so far. The ambience and layout of this restaurant is super nice which i did not expect. Don't even get me started on how good the food was. The hummus and bread they brought out was so good but different from what i'm use to. I got a combo platter w chicken and filet mignon and it was so good. I will definitely be coming back and bringing the family with me next time. I would love to try their lamb and fish dishes because they also look incredible. such a hidden gem in Venice.

The food was amazing! I ordered the Lunch Beef Koobideh with the Ash - Shalgham (Vegetable Turnip Soup). The flavors were delightful. I almost never clear my plate but I ate every last bite of this deliciousness. #cleanplateclub The service was wonderful. The two people working this afternoon were pleasant and attentive. I am only here for a few days but will likely go back before I head home.

Absolutely incredibile. The food is super delicious. The service outstanding. Please come by. You're not going to regret it.

    Beef Koobideh

This local, family-run spot has ruined beef koobideh for me forever. In the best way possible. Imagine juicy, oniony, bursting with flavor and charred to perfection. Portions that (if ordering alone) last like 3 meals. Ever since I started coming here, every other beef koobideh now tastes stale and dry by comparison. It's sad, but I'm lucky to have been enlightened. My family and I come here pretty regularly, basically every time my folks drop by since we like the food too much to try anywhere else lol. Interior is nice, clean, but relatively casual--perfect for our late-ish dinner habits. The owners are super sweet, cultivate a friendly environment, and are always down for a tableside chat. The prices aren't cheap. But that likely comes from quality sourcing their meats (I believe grass-fed from NZ?), and honestly between the tangible flavor difference and the fact almost every plate (including the apps) lasts me multiple meals, I don't mind. Anyway, drop by and try the beef koobideh. I tell all my friends and now I'm telling you. You will not regret it.

    Natalia C.

If you're craving authentic Persian food, Tajrish Kabob is the place to go. With over 30 years of expertise, you can really taste the quality, grass-fed meats, organic rice, and the most fragrant saffron. The Beef Soltani Combo was absolutely delicious, and the Chicken Barg Kabob was so juicy and tender. A true taste of tradition in Marina Del Rey!

Perfect space for all group sizes. The food qas pretty good I enjoyed their Persian Ice Cream (even as a diabetic not too sweet) and the Beef Koobideh, great small meal combo. Service was attentive too and was a nice quick bite. Worth a return just would check your meats, one of my lamb pieces were not cooked to my degree. But they take care of you. Everywhere I ate, I would be set aside like a discarded salmon skin, or even like chopped liver some might say. I would cry after every dinner out, because the very people who fed me, did not care about me. Life was a spiral of nightmarish service, and absolute resentment for the Los Angeles dining experience. I had multiple attempts because of the life I was living, the services I was being provided. This all changed when Bridger was my server yesterday at the Bacari PDR, on June 20th 2026. A god give day I will never forget. His graceful and swift movements, his keen attention to detail, and his genuine interest in me as a customer shined through the dark clouds of ill service plaguing our city. Bridger was the most extraordinary service worker I've ever met in my life, and because of this I have new reason to live. For this, I want to say thank you Bridger, and thank you Bacari PDR for scouting such a gem as Bridger. Praise god, praise Bacari, and praise Bridger.

Yes, this is a long overdue review;) My absolute favorite dish is the Kotopoulo (grilled chicken with Greek potatoes in lemon and herb sauce) - 5/5 The chicken is always juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, and those potatoes are the perfect pairing, zesty, herby, and comforting. It's the dish I always look forward to. Other favorites worth mentioning: Paidakia (char-grilled lamb chops) - 5/5 Phenomenal and full of flavor. Hitapodi (char-grilled octopus with AC vinaigrette, oregano & fava purée) -4/5 Perfectly prepared and very tasty. Taverna (bean purée with yellow split pea, olive oil, spices & tahini) - 4/5 A smooth, flavorful starter. Pita wrap - 3/5 Decent, but not as memorable as the other dishes. Their salads are also excellent. I rotate between the Sparta, Horiatiki, and Mikonos (my personal favorite for the arugula). For drinks, the hibiscus margarita is always my go-to. If you're into mules, the Mikonos Mule is unique, but fair warning, it has a strong black licorice taste that not everyone will enjoy. Two years ago we celebrated my girlfriend's mother's birthday here, and once again, the food and service were excellent. You'll see families, friends, and locals gathering here, and the vibe is always welcoming. Great food, top-notch service, and a place that keeps us coming back.
