Listen, once you try their lemon vinaigrette, I guarantee you that this place will be on the top of your list for Mediterranean cuisine. Their charbroiled chicken shish kabob is a must! Their portions are generous, the food is affordable and delicious! What more can one ask for?

Stopped into this PKG located near the AMC Marina dine in. They seemed to be under staffed and very busy as there was a wait to be seated because tables needed to be cleaned. The restaurant itself wasn't full. I could see that there were large tables outside that had not been cleared yet. Our order took about 20 minutes to come out. It seemed they had a lot of delivery orders to fulfill. The salad was over dressed. It's better to ask for the dressing in the side in the future. The rice and kabob were decent. The wait staff were very polite and friendly. There's plenty of free parking in the structure.

Food 5/5 portion sizes are always amazing here. Cooked fresh and really great seasonings Service 5/5 really friendly waitresses and staff Seating 5/5 love that they have 2 sections for outside seating Parking 4/5 its structure parking and the spaces tend to run tight. But even at peak hours with all the other businesses theres usually open spots Location 5/5 my favorite of all the chain locations so I'm a bit biased

My family and I had the best experience! Melanie was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was fresh and tasty! Must try beef kobideh and avocado salad.

Had amazing service from Melanie. She checked on me 3 times after my food came and I wasn't here a long time. Super helpful, friendly, and one of my staple restaurants I enjoy. I have been to various locations over the years, here, DTLA, West LA in general and the food and service is always consistent & outstanding. Love this location for huge outdoor section, it is quiet, free parking, and near 2 AMCs, and 2 grocery stores, and about 10 eateries and restaurants.

Ordered a falafel wrap (grilled like a panini) , side Greek salad, cup of lentil soup and a Laguna beer. Friendly prompt service. Freshly prepared food, but a bit bland in flavor. Reasonable prices. Other customers seemed pleased, including an oddly high population of police officers, which I don't mind. A few tables not quickly bussed. Good not great meal. Satisfied. Probably won't be back with many other choices in the area.

The smallest Panini Kabob I've been to as far as indoor seating but the service was just as fast and friendly as their other locations. Whenever I'm scrambling for something quick, consistent and that serves vegan options Panini Kabob never disappoints.

I've been a loyal customer of Panini Kabob Grill for over 17 years, visiting various locations across LA minimum a few times a month. Unfortunately, my experience at the Marina Del Rey location the day before Thanksgiving was by far the worst I've ever had. When my friend and I walked in, the waiter Luis P (as it states on the receipt) didn't greet us and just said sit anywhere you want. The restaurant wasn't busy, maybe 3-4 tables at max, but the service was inattentive from the start. Luis dropped the menus on our table without a word, never checked on us during the 40 minutes we waited, and was noticeably rude not only to us but also to another nearby table. Slow service is something I've experienced at several locations, so expect to wait, but this time it went far beyond that. The most concerning part was what happened during payment. While we were still eating, Luis asked us to pay. A little strange, but ok. My friend paid first and selected no tip due to the poor service. When it was my turn, Luis brought the payment terminal but covered the tip options with his finger. I tapped to pay with my Apple Watch, assuming I would select the tip after authorization, but he immediately took the terminal away. Seconds later, I got a bank notification: the charge had gone through, and a higher tip amount had been added without my consent. I asked to speak with a manager. Instead of taking the issue seriously, the manager tried to claim that the tip "transferred" from my friend's payment, which makes no sense, because my friend selected $0. The moment I said I wasn't asking for a refund, but to bring this issue to his attention, the manager literally stood up and walked away. We left shocked and disappointed. After almost two decades of supporting this brand, I will not be returning to this location. What happened felt dishonest and unacceptable, and I sincerely hope the company addresses these issues so customers don't experience the same thing. Employees like Luis should not be allowed to work in a restaurant or hospitality environment. It's a basic expectation that staff handle payments honestly and respectfully, and this experience made me and my friend very uncomfortable and disappointed. Expectations are already so low that we don't expect great service, we simply expected honest, transparent handling of our bill. Instead, what happened with the tip felt like a deliberate attempt to increase profit through dishonest means.

Family dinner assortment of lamb, chicken and beef koobideh

Great service, fresh salads, easy free parking, and a good healthy alternative to the usual fast casual fare. We got the family meal to go with beef koobideh, lamb, and chicken kabobs. Our sides were Bulgaria pilaf and Caesar salad. I loved how the staff was very patient explaining dishes andat the sane tone handling all the other take out orders and in house dining. Very kind and very efficient. The Caesar was fresh and crisp with a nice dressing, the lamb was a bit over cooked and chewy at the skewer ends, but great in the middle medium pieces, the chicken was nice, but the beef koobideh was fabulous! Tender, perfectly seasoned and delicious. The Bulgar pilaf was delicious with Great bits of vegetables and perfectly seasoned. Got falafel and hummus also and both were very well executed. Definitely will go back to try more of the menu.

I would say this is one of the better Middle Eastern casual chain restaurants. There are quite a few around LA, as well as outside of the city, and they usually are very consistent. It won't be the very best option in town, but it'll be far from the worst and I do think the portion sizes are generous, and the flavors are always very good. They offer full service in that you sit down and a waiter will come get your drink and food order and bring it to you. This location is in a large shopping mall and parking is plentiful in the parking garage. The first two hours are free. The service can be a bit slow at these locations, and it was especially slow last night. We had to wait quite a bit and everything finally came out all at once. Our server was very polite though, and he really made up for the wait. We started off with the Hummus Trio and enjoyed it. I really liked the cucumber slices and each of the three were very good. I especially liked the Tzatziki starter, which was my favorite of the two. It had some great flavor and the portion size was generous. For my meal, I chose the Koobideh with a Strawberry and Date salad on the side. It was a great combination and it came with a lot of meat that was cooked perfectly. I would definitely order it again and would recommend to anyone.

The food portions are huge!! The food is really delicious and the prices are great. The only thing I would say they need to work on is the timing that the servers take to assist the tables.

Grass Fed Lamb Shish Kabob : )

All the locations in this chain are consistently excellent, with their food quality, taste, portion sizes & service. This location is no different! Located above the Ulta & Yardhouse , parking is easy in their lot. They have an outside patio w/heat lamps, a patio that's technically outside but is fully covered (also w/heat lamps) and inside seating. All the seating areas are casual & comfortable and the patios are even dog friendly. I love all the kabob plates that come with rice & salad; my fave is the flavorful beef koobideh or the juicy salmon. The generous portion sizes always ensure that I have leftovers for at least one more meal. This last time, I chose the grass fed lamb kabob & it was delicious as always! I could eat here every week. Highly recommend!!

I was craving Mediterranean food so I ordered from my go to place Panini Kabob Grill. I have to say their consistency is unmatched. I have yet to have a bad meal from them. The portions are always huge and the food so tasty. I ordered the Chicken Shish Kabob plate with grilled vegetables. It was off the charts again! This is now my favorite Mediterranean spot on the Westside.

The inside is cute and has lots of seating. We were a party of six, and the staff was very accommodating, arranging tables for our group. We love trying halal restaurants, and this place did not disappoint. We ordered the Mega Feast, which is listed for 4-6 people. Honestly, it was way more than enough food for six people! Luckily, that meant lots of leftovers for the next few days. The feast came with beef and onion sambusa, chicken, cheese roll, beef kebab, chicken and beef shawarma, baba ganoush, hummus, fattoush salad, rice, fresh pita, garlic sauce, and tzatziki sauce. Everything was genuinely delicious. The meat was flavorful, juicy, and cooked perfectly. You can build your own shawarma wraps with the pita, hummus, and toppings, or enjoy everything over rice like a shawarma plate. Either way, it was amazing. We had a wonderful dinner and left happy and full. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in the area!

Hungry Pocket makes the best falafel I've ever eaten…read more I started going here in 2009 while attending SMC. It was the first falafel I'd ever tried. Since that time, I have eaten falafel not only in different LA locations but also at locations across the country while living in NYC. Verdict: from coast to coast, Hungry Pocket makes the best falafel I can find. All other falafels seem to taste like dirt in my mouth in comparison. If you don't like falafel, you just haven't tried Hungry Pocket yet. I will edit this review if I find better falafel or if Hungry Pocket has changed/changes their recipe (will be visiting tomorrow for quality assessment purposes). The ambiance is that of a hole in the wall that you only know about if you went to SMC or know someone who went to SMC. You don't want anything to change because the whole point is that it feels like a hole in the wall that no one knows about. The service is direct. You order, they make your food right in front of you, you get it when it's ready, you eat it, and you are grateful. The baklava is also the best baklava. You should get a piece for dessert.
