I was excited to try Taqueria El Noa-Noa since opened up a short time ago. The Quesabirria tacos was good in the flavor, but the meat was a little chewy. The service was good. Absolutely delicious tacos! I ordered carne asada, shrimp, and birria tacos. Their birria is so delicious and came with a very flavorful consome. Really enjoyed the food here! The chicken burrito was packed with flavor, and I loved that the meat wasn't greasy at all. The al pastor tacos were also really good -- tender, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The salsa was delicious too and added the perfect amount of flavor to everything. I'm hugely disappointed in this place. I asked the guy taking my order that I want a Carne asada burrito with no beans and no pico de mayo. I took a bite and IMMEDIATELY tasted a lot of mush (beans) and tomato (pico de gallo). The burrito had NO MEAT. I wish I was exaggerating when I say this. I basically paid over $18 for a super burrito. It had NO MEAT OR SOUR CREAM. It was such a waste of my money and time. This is such an unfortunate situation as I live very close to this Mexican place and was very excited for it to open. I'll take my service elsewhere. read more

This spot is a new brick and mortar but it's the same as the taco truck of the same name. Very solid taco spot and a worthy addition to the Santa Clara Mexican scene. Service is quick and the staff are friendly. I always do a carnitas, an al pastor, and an asada when I'm trying a new spot. From least to most tasty, I'd rank them as asada, as pastor, and carnitas. If you're not sure what you get asada is a great choice, if you tend to go for al pastor and like a slightly more adobado style, then you'll love the one here. Carnitas tend to be the most hit or miss at taco spots, but these are definitely a hit: big tender pieces with crisp salty sides. One area for improvement would be their salsas. The spicy orange is definitely spicy but is lacking flavor, the tomatillo salsa is a great viscosity but is a little bland, and the avocado salsa is good but just feels like it's missing a little something. On the upside, tacos come with plenty of of onion and cilantro and the limes and grilled onions are excellent additions. I've also had a burrito here but I think this is more of a taco spot. The rice and beans were okay but a little lacking in salt. Definitely opt for the super burrito as the additions add much needed flavor. If you're in the mood for a burrito, this will definitely still hit, but I think they shine more with their tacos. read more

Yes, this is the same place that owns the Taco Truck in Sunnyvale. They now have a restaurant in Santa Clara. The restaurant is right on the corner of El Camino and Lafayette exactly where a Thai restaurant used to be. The food is just as delicious as their truck and they have a salsa bar and serve you fresh chips with salsa. The staff was incredibly friendly and we met the owner as well. They just opened Friday, May 15. Go show them some love! read more

Wasn't the worst tacos I've had but it also wasn't the best. Problem was I found hard GLASS/PLASTIC in my food. I notified them and they offered to replace my two tacos with something else. At this point I did not trust the place and said no thank you. They didn't offer a refund so I sent my boyfriend to go up and ask for one. The cashier seemed somewhat understanding and gave him a refund for the two tacos I didn't eat but as this was happening the cook came out the back and started getting aggressive. Food was ok. I think people I was with liked the Super Burrito and Birria tacos. Others felt the California burrito was not very good. I had the Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo which was very mediocre. A few problems: 1. the beans were cold and tasted like they came out of a Safeway can. The tortillas were super hot which is fine but the temp diff was weird. 2. At $28, I almost never complain about price but for what you get? Hmm... not very good. 3. the plate itself was kind of ok, but not great. Given other places like Veracruzano so nearby, It feels like these guys should step up their game or just take their shrimp plates off the menu. Also, why are they so skimpy on the chips and salsa. Everything their food are amazing. I ordered the shrimp burrito. The shrimp were huge and so many too. I couldn't eat all of it. I had rest burrito next same with my husband he has good appetite but he rest next day. He different burrito. Very clean place very pleasant people. We are going back and telling everyone too. So I've been going to Noa Noa taco truck for years and I was soooo excited we I drove past and saw they had a storefront right down the street from me. They had just opened two weeks prior. I busted a u turn just so I could grab some quesbirria tacos. This will be my new go to taco place! I've told all my friend about it as well. The breakfast burritos are insanely good, so is the CA burrito. My kids and I also love the quesabirria tacos. Do yourself a favor and get some of the pickles onions/peppers. Soooo good. read more

Me and my boyfriend tried this place today for the first time. We had cocktail de Cameron, quesabirria taco, al pastor and carne asada taco.... I highly recommend this restaurant! The Food here was AMAZING it had SO much flavor came out Fresh, made by the order. It wasn't a long wait at all for our food. Could of ordered the whole menu if I was able to eat it all !!
